It also why an NDA exists, if testers reveal details about our playtest experience for a early development phase of the game, it can create uncomfortable situations for the development team that sets up "expectations" of the game and what it is going to be about. This can lead to erroneous impressions from the general public and that can negatively impact the marketing/outreach efforts for that game.

That being said, looking to curated content reveals like those in #❓│old-team-answers-alpha and #🌠│official-art are very important to take advantage of because that is intended for public consumption and sets up the expectations for the game the developers are wanting from the community.

But it brought to sharp focus my worries about S6 and how I really, really hope they have things in place to prevent a lot of current 'bad things' that are coming to light in the gaming industry

It has more to do with the current legal issues and corporate culture. Which is only of interest because some of S6 used to work at Blizzard (among other things) so it comes to mind in that I don't want S6 to repeat any of the issues leading to the current legal problems (vague because its a bad topic to discuss in a family friendly game forum like here)

I'm excited, I'm happy, I'm kind of making up a Palia-inspired fantasy world in my head - where I want to stay for good. That's actually demi what it's like in my homebrew world. Language got so jumbled up due to a literal world shaking (like literally earthquakes, volcanoes, tidalwaves all at once) that when things started rebuilding people just spoke whatever language they had, but it was so hard to keep up they made up the "Common" or "Trade" tongue because it was easier to use words that people could consider universal.

There's texts saying that the language was actually CALLED something, (No not english or any sort of racial language) but the origins of such language can be traced to a country that is now abandoned because lava and tidal waves and tornados don't like leaving readable books.

I like to think with common languages, there's lots of dialects based on different other languages

Somewhat yea, but you have to go looking for them specifically and it's a big world. So mostly only the Archivist Guild (who are trying to rebuild all that lost knowledge) and the Ruin Delver League (Archeologists basically) are really the only ones who actually look specifically for them. Though they do pay a good sum to any adventurers who bring in lost stuff.

Well, not feeling like you're enough (I always did when playing World of Warcraft/League of Legends and such) is honestly a terrible feeling. Feeling welcomed no matter the experience/gear of the game and still be able to join in on some (not all, of course) different adventures is something I would be excited for.
