Maybe one of the updates will throw in a 10 year jump adding a few more impressionable children and Auni all grown up and Eshe gone. I'm mixed on instances. I played Blade and Soul and there were a few instances there. They were nice for story-telling, but bad for playing with friends because there would be whole sections that you were stuck in seperate instances until you finished certain quests, etc.

For the story telling though, it was really cool. I'd see a war happening on a beach while my sister saw it calm and pretty. It was just due to a different instance and me trying to finish a story that she had completed the day before. So I have to admit the instance making the whole area change visually is an appealing idea, despite the gameplay issues

which doesn't work with the play as little or as much as you want line they are taking

you're not tied down to a server, so there aren't server specific stories .. so that idea is out of the window too

Happy October 8th! Another waiting time, another waiting thing. For now, I feel somewhat at peace and no longer scrambling in impatience, but I still wonder what there is to do in the future. Palia? Like being back in school and being associated with you graduation year. We had school competitions where each year was a team and it felt more unifying to be called Class of X year or Freshman, etc.

The most significant times we have at school are 11+ tests to see if you will benefit from a better school option, and when you're like 13 or 14 you choose which lessons you want to concentrate on in the last 2 years of high school

We sadly don’t have that much in the US- options to concentrate on. My school offered vocational classes for the last two years of high school but it had to fit in your schedule so I was only able to my final year.

Ours were half days too. Mine was Digital Media Arts (like mixed media and graphic design). Was a nice break from regular classes.
