The game is in pre-alpha: I know the distinction between pre-alpha, alpha, and beta can be confusing for some people, but pre-alpha generally means a game that is not in a fully complete state. So, there is limited people testing to avoid people getting the wrong impression about an unfinished product

Elves are not planned to be playable for the foreseeable future there was some mistakes with the communication on that one. Now that could change because we're in alpha but sadly the last time they spoke about it they said no unless anything more came out after they clarified.

Given how us, the players, humans, are a returning race, it would be strange to have anything else as a playable race for story purposes, from my PoV, but they've not stated humans will remain the only playable race

Palia is going to try and frontrow things that usually get added on the side in most MMOs. Cooking, decorating, adventuring, etc. The squishy stuff. Because it's going to do that, it's immediately going to be different from most MMOs on offer, and I expect some people will look at that and be like 'yeah, but I prefer explosions'. And that's fine.

Part of why people are so accepting and casual here is because this game is attracting the portion of gamers who are ready to relax, and relaxation is almost universally a positive thing for folks.

Depends on the systems in place, but generally speaking, making a "living" in the game through the market itself once I get a small amount of currency.
It games without any "gold/currency", I tend to trade a ton and trade up for items of higher value. I tend to collect obscure items and high end mounts for trade deals.

I just enjoy keeping a healthy economy. Some people want to artificially inflate items, but that isn't something I'm into.

Oh, right, if this is about cooperative activities, i think in the last q&a they mentioned they wanted the game to be fun alone and even more fun with friends, so theres probably lots of stuff to do cooperatively

Our goal with Palia is for it to be fun solo and even better together. As such, we think it’s critically important to always have meaningful things you can do in the game when playing solo, whether it’s because you’re waiting for friends to come online or it’s your preferred way to enjoy the game. That being said, there will also be activities that either require or are significantly more manageable when done with others.
