Chat's can be automatically moderated to some degree. If someone free writes something on a sign its much harder to detect that with software. A lot of the time it takes manual inspection.

In my experience, the devs usually aren't the people moderating a game unless it's a very very tiny community, so if there's an uptick in bad behavior, they'll be able to throw mods on it and/or open a ticket backlog to handle issues as they're able to get to them.

They are very prone to being hives for cybering, and as such prone to have people sexually harass others in DMs, groom minors, or do other very manipulative things to people. As a game rated E for everyone, I'd personally want for private messages to be moderated as well, and for behaviour that isn't in line with the rating to be prohibited.

Stardew Valley is the game I see this most being similar to, but on a much bigger scale. The farming in that, plus the community aspect and friend making, seem to fit with Palia's mission. Add in some ACNH things like bug catching and clothing.

That's why I'm hoping there is more than crops from the trailer. I'd love to see some animal husbandry as well.

I can usually handle spiders, it just comes down to if I can identify something that is venomous or not. For me, if I see a red rider (a small not-venomous snake) laying peacefully, you better bet i'm running over to him and cuddling him. But if it's something venomous like a rattlesnake I'm shaking and running away. Not long ago, I was hiking with my friends and I heard hissing behind me, This huge 2 ft rattlesnake was slithering away 1 foot away from me. My friends didnt see the snake and that entire time we were hiking back, anything that somewhat resembled a snake scared the shit out of me until I was able to control myself

By making the NDA signee responsible for any leaks made by the people they allow in their proximity. For example, if a spouse saw you playing and then went online and made posts with insider knowledge, your account could end up actioned for it. Not easy to enforce, but that would be the general process.
