yeah basicly which is why I believe they favor resources being more individual based. The goal from what I see is to create an enviroment which is cozy and as little negative feelings as possible. People taking resources you are trying to get definetly leaves major negative feelings.

I remember when Blizzard implemented daily quest on Wrath of the Lich King. IMO the best expansion ever! But God I started to hate the daily's. In the end it felt more like a job than something I did for fun.

Fun fact: in Phantasy Star Universe, the "main story" of Network Mode was optional. It unlocked a few AI partners and that was it. If you wanted to know what happened after offline story you could play it, but it was 100% optional.

Fairy houses aren't necessarily in that style. But the idea is that they have designs similar to in nature. Fairy houses are usually made of nature (flowers, etc), so the overall design of fairy houses tends to have a complexity and design philosophy similar to Art Nouveau.

Typically it's because pre-alpha is so far from what the game will be at the end for release that they don't want to be locked into something because someone saw it a specific way, things will change with feedback from the community and whoever tests the game

I am fine with optional voice chat, there is nothing wrong with optional features. It's an issue when it becomes forced. Fallout 76 for example one of the things that annoyed me the most about that is the only chat available was voice chat. couldn't type if you wanted to. Felt bad man.
