I mean, Final Fantasy 14 just recently rebuild a whole Housing District in the Game. It was considered EndGame Content for Crafters and Gatherers. There was a Leaderboard and special Rewards for Top Contributors. But i think even when the Goal was reached you could still turn in Materials to earn other Rewards until the next Stage was unlocked. So even if you couldn't participate right away, you still could get most Rewards that you unlock for Donation-Points. So it certainly would be possible and nice to see in Palia too. ❤️

a second bed in my bedroom is a must, or a sofa bed, so i can have sleepovers any time.

that is because it's really hard to keep people entertained without some sort of challenging content and goals to accomplish. This is easiest to do with more violent things such as combat. Games without such things such as Animal Crossing end up having a problem where people rapidly reach a point where they ask the question "Now what" Building can be fun, but once it starts to feel pointless the fun of it dies down a little.

I'm still waiting for a game that is pure exploration. And not just walking simulator, but actual exploration, with actual platforming, with actual point-and-click adventure style finding objects and combining then and using them in puzzle, with actual swimming, flying, crawling, spelunking, etc. That's not procedurally generated, that actually has a secret around every corner and under every rock.
