RPRepository is an RP networking site and every year they do a community event called Epic Week. This past year, the event had three 'branches'. A puzzle team. A combat team. A farming team. Each team had its own content and whenever one team had a success, it would give a bonus to the other two, so everyone had something to do and everyone's progress helped everyone else.

I can only hope Palia's community efforts will be similar.

It was both, actually. A flash game for the farming, and the fighting and puzzle-solving were all run as web pages with the fighting being turn-based combat and the research being done by examining text files and images for clues to solve riddles.

Right, I see what you mean. There's a concern that because neopronouns are so variable that it creates a confusion all its own. It doesnt mean neopronouns are bad or wrong, they're just an attempt to solve a language issue and aren't yet widespread enough for the average joe to understand what they mean. They might get there eventually, but until then just play it by ear, remember pronouns when you can, and apologize when you can't. On the flipside, people using pronouns should exhibit patience for the same reasons.

Now that is understandable. Yes, it's complicated, but the truth is that gender is complicated. The male/female binary is patently false, and a lot of nonbinary people are just exploring their own relationship to gender using neopronouns.

If that means some pronouns just for them, why not use them? It may not be "efficient", but it is kind.
