Its certainly a game that has a different temperament but again as it becomes more popular the same crowds congregate and that has a danger of having elitist attitudes creeping in. No game is immune from it.

and, if youre not standing around in Limsa all day and try to fit in, FF is a very lonely game. Most people only talk in their Linkshells or FCs, IF they even do that, that is. I never really came across active linkshells either and I have been playing for a long time.

I've tried to get back in to it a couple times. The first time I found it very difficult to try and break in to the social side of things, folks were quite standoffish.

I really think they're is only going to be one starting zone. This isn't WoW... the infrastructure for house building has different requirements. And cloning that out just makes server load issues more complex.

I think it’s really important to come at this with an open mind. This game isn’t wow or eso or RuneScape, and it never will be, nor do I believe we should expect it to be. If the devs vision is for humans only for a good while, then I’m excited to see where they take it. Plus having one race for the time being let’s them focus on making the gameplay top-notch.

I think humans will be neat. Since humans are new to the world, they might be learning what they can do. They might not know they have more stamina than any other animals, they may kill a sentient animal by mistake and get a bad reputation as terrifying killers.
