And as far as I know none of us can see the future. So saying "It will fail because XYZ" is nothing more than opinion. However likely you may feel it follows a set trend, it may not. At the end of the day there is a large following, who really want to see something new, something that isn't just cookie cutter and clones of a certain mmo and it's features.
So the evolution and change in terms of a game and it's features could be enough to buck the trend and carve out it's own slice of gamer pie.
