depends on what you mean by sucking at building....I use twice the materials when I build because OCD makes me accept only perfect fits. That could be seen as a good builder or a bad builder. I only care that I'm happy with the results 🙂

If the emphasis on the theme of the game is we want the fishing to be relaxing and enjoyable, then we'd have to remove the element of farming/grinding/trying for rare fish, and just throw out our line and enjoy the breeze.

You make your environment interesting, so the player can enjoy the surroundings while casually waiting for a bite.

Who knows - But I wouldn't approach this game thinking you're here to collect weapons and grind numbers - I think hunting will be as simple as "Find the best way to get close to an entity, and try to shoot them."

I love fishing from Breath of Fire to FF15, all sorts of detail levels and different mechanics

used to spend days fishing afk in BDO, so can't wait to see what they have in store in Palia

The way I'd handle any recreational activity like fishing is by not making it a mandatory task for end-game (because that's how you got uninterested grinding), but also offering some sort of trade skill for it so you're not doing it for naught. It's sort of a balance you have to find within the community.

To be fair, though, it doesn't seem like an "end-game" is really intended for this game.

Well, the problem with it isn't really the filtering of the messages. It's more of the worry that it will be ALL chat is used for.

I'd love to be able to choose what type of farming you might want to specialize in. I'm thinking fish farm, animal farm, fruit and vegetable farm a zoo might even qualify for a farm type. Then you have to go searching the world to find things for your farms. The rare stuff sell for more but is harder to raise and dies faster.
