I don't believe he's missing - he's standing over by the prismbeard quest waiting for interaction of that quest, that being said, he will not show up on the map, but is there. (this was my experience, I spent days looking for him, then realized his absence is tied to the quest line)

Auni and Naio are locked into location on the pirate treasure quest line -- Adventure on the Horizon, Prismbeard's Lost Treasure, and True Treasure. They stay locked to location in this quest series until it is finished. Adventure on the Horizon is given to all players by Auni, even new players. It's probably in your quest log.

As others have mentioned, Prismbeard's Lost Treasure is currently bugged. Since this quest series can't be finished at the moment, Auni and Naio are going to have to be accessed at the last location you interacted with them at the pirate treasure quest line if you're bugged on Prismbeard's Lost Treasure.

If you finished Prismbeard's Lost Treasure before the update, you should be able to finish the last quest "True Treasure," and the brothers will return to their normal Kilima schedules.

5 nameplates are acquired by finishing the bulletin bundles in totality (4 bundles + 1 completion reward). 3 nameplates are bonus loot drops from the flower event itself. The planter recipes are also bonus loot drops.

It does't really indicate that some are reciepes and some are just the drops. Maybe splitting them up to show which are recipes are which are drops. Like the clay pot we got from the twich drops. If you get that is it a recipe or do they just drop singlely? If it's a recipe it seems odd to have it as a reward for a twitch drop if you can just wait to get the recipe to make more.

The only things I can think of are: Floatfish should say they're found in the Elderwood's Saltwater to help clear up the confusion as some players have interpreted the patch notes as you can only get the perspective plush from catching the floatfish depending on tier bait. As for the nameplates, I feel like adding which one dropped for the event would eliminate player confusion around it. Last item is it would be very helpful if we had an image showing what the new bundle icon looked like as there's been an influx of "what is this" when they log in and see the icon in-game for the first time

Another suggestion I have is regarding Insect-A-Palooza Season 2. We never got the results posted to the official Palia website or how to tell players to cast their votes regarding the "community bug plushie vote". It can only be found on the discord. Having the results posted as well as telling players how they can cast their vote on the official website would be much appreciated as some players don't have access to discord or don't realize they can get Palia news through the official discord.

The black/blank bars are not notifications for drops, that just seems to be a bug.

But also harping on what Eilkahn mentioned, editing the patch notes to include the additional information that was made regarding the new Bulletin Board quests (like in this pinned post #🌟│sixer-tracker message) would help a lot, since like it was mentioned, not everyone is part of the discord or privvy to the info.

So it seems like perhaps the loot notifications are buggy for some folks

The issue with discord is the fact Chinese and UAE players don't have access due to their countries restrictions as well as the fact Palia is 10+ but discord you have to be 13+ plus to make an account. Console players also might not have access to a device that can download discord so communication is limited there.

Truthfully, it's odd for us to have a live service game that doesn't have the patch notes in an in-game accessible tab. I shouldn't have to go to a 3rd party app to get game news.

yeah, having news updates posted to the news channel there would be nice, or even like with PS, I always get a PS news feed with patch notes and such when other games patch (in addition to the need to update notice). But just in game would be nice too.

its still that way, but same as other person was saying, when we discover more details about patch, that thread doesn't get updated either, like now we know there's 2 old quests that are bugged as a result of the patch, that should be appended to patch notes, so folks reading it after it was posted can get full picture of state of game

set for late/ping. i’m not sure how other community boards are in games as i haven’t played games with those: but in Wow/skychildren they have the ingame calendar which shows events and then some details about that if you were to click on the day.

since this board in palia is to have quests maybe have it be seperate section (or something sry i’m not good with ui stuff) that the player can click, maybe calendar/events are seen first if something is going on and then the bundles are on a different page (similar to the maji market/event page)…. not me also remembering that exists

yeah cottonball is the only "new" flower from the event (very likely bcs it was supposed to be released with the first flower drop so they probably never bothered to change the logic of it)

For the flower event? Orange mist spawns in around 11 am - 11:30 am depending, event starts at 12, pull weeds first as they block water progress then water flowers. Flowers grow faster the more people water them. Watering can does empty so make sure it's filled up for the event and should last the entire duration plus some. Rinse and repeat.

Make sure to be in Kilima around 11 ~11:30 as the event start sometimes bugs out and doesn't actually spawn if people arrive too late

Either people who joined late or people server hopping to make the grind less tedious. You can usually get 3-5 events in one palia day if you server hop

Just submitted feedback re Kilima flower event suggesting it be Palia wide rather than server specific as it takes FOREVER to load a different server. Would love to not have to ask where flowers are on each server - any thoughts/opinions?

I have a feeling this would create far greater issues as the servers individual generate the flower grove to ensure it spawns. We already have servers where it doesn't generate as new servers are made when people influx into certain regions, thus the server doesn't generate the flower grove in time and gets bugged. The event is already Palia wide, if you mean why doesn't the event specifically spawn in a set location per Palia day, that'd most likely cause more issues compared to having players load into new servers to gain access to that server's specific flower grove. Palia constantly opens and closes servers to ensure servers are fresh and avoid having a server that's opened too long (When this happens, the landscape doesn't fully load and leads to other bugs for players known issue). Sometimes you may end up in a server where it's just you or a handful of players, that server is most likely hitting it's EOL time and is about to close so a new one can open. Live games don't synchronise across instances to avoid lag issues, allow players from different regions to access the game and just generally is a engineers worst nightmare.

Servers are limited to 25 (Might be 30? I don't remember) players so if people are logging in right before the flower grove, new servers have to be generated to meet that influx. To have those new servers synchronise to existing servers, it would just...be a mess in simple terms.

Palia servers are shared servers, that way all the players on that specific server can synchronise and interact with the same resources. We don't have dedicated, persistent world servers so this suggestion would mean S6 would have to change their current server setup which just isn't feasible or realistic.

I'm sure the cross-platform adds a whole different layer of issues but I can't speak much for that. The flower grove already struggles to spawn in some instances so having a force spawn across all live servers could generate a whole different list of issues.

I think the different locations are just so the event doesn't become stale. Similar to the flow grove having different locations so players have to go look for it instead of just camping in a certain spot.

It would be really nice if when we sort recipes at the workbench, if it could stay sorted after crafting things. For instance, I've been trying to catch up on "never crafted" items. I play on switch so every time I sort and craft new items, it resets the sort selection and I end up scrolling through the full list again. Just sometging I've been thinking about lately.

I have holidays and grinded hard to get the 3500 essence for the The Nurture of Shadows over days and now i cant get the carrier pet, because the quest is stuck. Im so disappointed right now 😭

Just hit 1000 hours on this game, I have to say the relic system was the most unfruitful grind I have ever seen in my life; I feel like the incentive of playing in parties has diminished by alot from when I started this cuz the whole collection of the relics is now done there's nothing left for people to party up and work towards. I wasn't expecting to get a full team of relics to summon Captain planet or something but at least give us something to work towards other than grind more for essence

You can still party up to do essence hunting which is why you got the relics. There are quite a few things you need essence for and the amounts are quite high. There are all the decorations that cost essence, the nameplates, the Gazebo It may not be things you want but there are still reasons to party up and play with people. Also plushies, don't forget about the plushies. I feel that the last six months S6 has really stepped up their game and added tons of new content. I always play for a couple weeks after an update and then find something else to play in-between.

That's my whole point everything is becoming more grindy, especially in elder woods. Like being in party doesn't increase your chances of getting plushies, it increases chance of getting multi loot. Even getting Palium has become harder, cuz in Bahari ppl used to help by announcing it in map, now u break a rock to find just 1 palium ore out of a node.

With Palium now being in EW though, it's a lot easier to get, but agreed on everything else. The grind for plushies just feels like an artificial way to increase playing time, and it's just not for everyone. But they seem to have found their niche of players who enjoy it, so it's only here to stay.

I also think the requirement of 25 Elderwood lilacs for the board is too much. Their drop rate is so low, they don't grow seeds, and you can only do the event at a certain time. Doesn't help that I hate that minigame

The point is that there is a balance in having a grind with RNG and having a grind that feels rewarding. For me personally the grind for the bundles doesn't feel rewarding, so I'm skipping them.

I actually like the nameplate if you complete all the bundles, but I just don't have the time to work towards it currently. And I don't really feel like giving myself headaches to try to earn something that has been claimed to not return.

I play WoW. It's my main game currently. I get how RNG is. I get how grind is. But in palia, it genuinely, just does not feel rewarding to me. That's mainly where my issue with some of it is, especially when it's advertised as cosy, etc. It just isn't at the moment for me.

But this also plays part in other aspects of the game, and not just the rng, but it definitely plays a part.

Well, I think that's completely different than what people have been mentioning! That of course, wouldn't feel rewarding if it was on login. And I don't think anybody was really expecting or wanting that.

And at least, for me, I didn't mind the grind. It's just the Fomo aspect, with it stating that they "will not return" in the current board/patch. If it was seasonal then it could slowly be grinded up for, and at least someone could try to get it next time.

And I don't even think people are watning things exactly 'easier'-- but just more accessible as a whole. Like, the RNG isn't great. I always thought it'd be nice if, for example, plushies... Maybe each kill, you get remnants of things you can earn and be able to 'exchange' for a plush. Or being able to exchange a plush for a different one. (And could do for the Zeki ball machine, too.) Makeshift furniture being recipes instead of pieces

Have more uses for renown, since I know there's a lot of folks who are capped with nothing to do with it.

That way people can actually feel like theyre grinding twoards something-- if it's remants or pieces of something (guild coins, maybe?), and being able to exchange those, then at least ... you can visualize the progress.

The bounce event could be better, but the fundamental issue is that movement in this game is bad. Climbing is bad, stamina is bad. In 3D platformers for examples, the devs put a circle shadow underneath you to show you where you're going to land. Palia doesn't have that, so platforming can be a bit difficult.

So it spawns at 12 in Klima and if you get there early you water & weed but the flowers despawn so fast I can’t pick them before they’re gone? Yes but how S6 intended their game to be played & how it ended up being played... are not exactly similar, & in my tiny opinion should not really be judged. Sadly many of those glitches are very much inaccessible to many players due to accessibility reasons or not being doable on every platform.

I've seen plenty amazing houses that use barely any glitching, if at all.

Yeah, i honestly remember having a loooot of fun creating my Cafe, Kitchen, bedroom and living room area on my plot. There's also some other outside spots I enjoyed creating. I still love how they look, and I'd gladly re-create them in the future.

Theories around the shiny pebble decor are either you have to have lv. 3 friendship and have it trigger before you hit lv. 4 friendship otherwise it won't trigger once you hit lv. 4 or you have to not have the pebble collection complete. Mine vanished from my plot to never return pit 2nd ticket in but nothing happens. Shiny pebble and pebbles plunder is a struggle for S6 to get right. My pal cats disappeared and then we randomly got 4 for a news gift. For a two year old game and ai advancing, one would think that s6 would get things running smoother by now.

S6 doesn't have the manpower to deal with the current ticket system and the influx of new players. Bugs happen outside of testing environments all the time so things might only affect a small amount of players thus makes it less of a priority to fix for the devs as newer and more game breaking bugs pop up. Just because Ai is advancing, doesn't mean it's good. Ai is most useful for writing basic code and doing repetitive tasks that don't change over time. Ai isn't good at adapting on the spot and relies on previous information regarding a issue and how to solve it. Ai models are limited to their data sets so they're not a solution to creating/developing video games. Does this give S6 a good excuse? Not really but with a game that's older or in development, code changes and breaks down/degrades over time as new things are added to the game. The shiny pebble and pebbles plunder doesn't greatly affect an average user's overall game play so it's probably lower on their priority list to fix atm. The 4 palcats we got were a reward for new downloads since Xbox X|S and PS5 now have Palia.

Yeah, 7 days to die has 3-4 major overhauls to their gameplay. Warframe is at 9 years beta. Baldur's Gate 3 was 6 years before fully released. Doesn't matter a games age, a good majority of games face code/technical debt from their development stage. Palia is limited due to manpower on how fast they can fix things and has issues with their deployment strategies/implementation. Every new update, something else breaks or doesn't work as intended previously. Destiny 2 and Cyberpunk faced issues due to using poor internal tools which makes it harder to release new content without reworking their internal tool system. Palia even admits they have memory leaks even though they use RUST (Though C++ is known for causing memory leaks which they also use). Long story short, the Palia devs admit to building their development systems wrong the first time and had to rewrite their tools. This delayed the game's development significantly and continues to delay aspects of the game as they have to continue reworking their dev tools.

You're probably gonna want a dedicated plot for this instead of using a plot you have a lot of stuff on. Makes it easier on Switch players. How many stations you want is up to you, but this is what I did

Host station: (where you are)
1 of each

3 additional ovens. Don't need more tbh

12 additional prep tables, mixing tables and stoves. Some types of parties will require more because of overprep.

How you organize the additional stations is up to you. I personally did the ovens behind the host station, and put the others in a 3x4 grid. This is impractical for people who double-role, but I can always move around for them

Pretty new. Someone figured out if you damge flow trees and let them heal over and over the xp received from chopping them goes up. So at these charge parties you "charge" up the flow trees so that each one gives about 1/4 lvl of foraging. The chargers also glitch their axe to double tap each tree they hit, halving the time to charge the tree.

i sometimes have a weird feeling about people calling out some resources in chat in other languages - French, Spanish, etc. I can understand the location of course, but what are you calling out exactly? it's mildly annoying, to be fair. Sometimes I end up in some purely Spanish-, or German- or French-speaking servers feels like, and it almost feels like they're having their own server-wide party there and i'm intruding x)

i noticed since the birthday outfit came out, we need to have the options in the premium shop to buy makeup, hairstyle etc on their own i know they probably make more money if you have to buy a whole outfit since theyre pretty expensive but i feel like more players would buy the little stuff, i love the birthday bash outfit and i love the sprinkle makeup but i dont like most of the colors that are in the "sprinkle row" but i dont want to buy 6 of them. sometimes i would love to have different hair, but i have to buy a certain whole outfit for that i would love to be able to choose from different categorys idk if anyone understands what i mean 😂

And tbh I kinda enjoy when I see people speaking a language I vaguely know, I see it as a little language lesson trying to understand what they're saying I mean, if you don't speak the language, either ignore or politely ask to switch to English so you can understand and potentially help, but under no circumstances call people who are speaking a different language 'annoying spammers'

My friend and I stumbled into a Spanish server takeover the day I think because there were so many people speaking Spanish, couldn't have been a coincidence hehe

Update on my Chappa Chase question about the spawn points being fixed locations - Yes people are still camping them. I know its impossible to randomize the spawn locations, but people standing still and spinning literally on one single spot the entire game to get all the chappa that spawn there, is a little crappy >.> I LOVE the pop-a-chappa though!

I just run around in a large lap around the spawn points in the middle of the map and snatch up the chapaas that get missed by the people camping the spawn points, which probably makes them a little angry

Yeah I try to play normalls just running everywhere - but when I see 2 people standing still in little pods at every spawn point and no one running I sort of give up. Sometimes standing by the entrance gate I can catch ones that escape there, but its super disheartening.

I can't tell you what exactly, but they should change something about chapaa chase to make it more of a community event. What I really don't like is when people see me running after one, and then they swoop in and catch it from under me (I assume PC players have a faster react time than me on my poor ol' Switch 2)

Oh man totally PC is faster, you spam F as you run and it auto-grabs them as soon as the prompt comes up. I think maybe adding a corral and spawn points on the opposite side of the market could be a good idea maybe? Sort of split the runners so its not just 35 people in the same area?

I find it very anti-community 😅 Whenever I see some chasing a particular chapaa that’s running off towards the stable board for example I just leave them be, but the ones with less lag often swoop in and steal those, at least in the servers I’ve been in

Yeah add spawn points on the other side of the map maybe, but people wouldn’t really go there then I think as it’s a long run from the pen

Current theory is it's from pressing the pickup button on something that has already been picked up. People have gotten it after picking up anitem once so 🤷‍♀️ It's a bug either way but it doesnt mean you got anything

I was thinking about it for a while... as in some places in palia there are campfires, I think it'd be cool if at least one one the map could be used... like If I forgot to bring enought foor with me and I don't wanna go back to my plot, even few steaks could be usefull to gather most important things and go back

one will give u a higher boost when spending focus (also means u will use up more focus and ran out faster), the other simply gives u a bigger focus bar to fill out but no real exp gain apart from that
