There was much excitement, for Reth frequently vaunted his famous lettuce soup. Here was it's beginning! But when planted, it was noted that the lettuce looked strange. Grey and spikey, like it was not yet meant for this world. Players diligently tended their gardens, hoping the lettuce would soon take on a verdant hue. But alas, it remained grey, right up to the moment that it could be pulled from the fields.
Some players made seeds, hoping that in time, the blighted crop would appear healthy, but it was not to be. A year has passed, and the humans still wait for a chance to make their own soup... 🥬

So Pepperidge Farm is a company that in their ads always goes nostalgic, like "we remember Sunday dinners with the family gathered around the table, we won't forget the good times." The meme is "used to nostalgically reminisce or recall a happier time in the past." Here, we use it to remember some of the items S6 has shown or given players (that we got excited about) and then not followed through.

So, the Island and Snowy Palcat plushes, the growable gazebo, the honeybunch armchair, the lettuce seeds, the ducks.... the meme is a handy way to keep reminding ppl of these items. And it's seemed to have worked, since we have gotten some of them back into the game.

Looks like they may have finally fixed the pebbled plunder issue for good this time? I just wish they'd fixed the issued with the pal tech recipies. The wall lamp and radio cannot be gotten from the underground. If you made all the pal tech items before they added the missing recipies in, you can't unlock them. After proving i made them all, support was very nice and gave me a wall lamp and radio, but couldn't give me the recipes so I can never make more 😭

All I want to do is delete my character and restart my game, as I played over a year last, but it's taking so long for any sort of response or feedback that it's killing my mood to play the game.

I feel like it's a little less that tau is the only one or anything and more about his own connection with tau as an individual/the velief that animals are more important than just being pets in general [which is very indigenous coded of him and I love it, that's a very traditional belief among tribes like mine even today]
I'm hoping with the animal husbandry updates we'll be able to engage more with the pets so they feel less like accessories
