While the tuning fork is mostly unneeded, I did find it really useful for spotting bubbles that freshly spawned when running along the lakes!

Idk how to really explain it well, but running up and down the lake with the fork yields you more starred fish!

OK, so basically what I mean is that if you’re running up along the shore of the lakes or the coast and you’re just going back-and-forth, you will end up missing on freshly spawn bubbles in the area you just came from but with the fork you can spot the fresh bubbles as you’re going away so you can turn back around and catch that fish!

Which gives you a lot more than going back and forth and waiting for the server to spawn them when you can just see them off the bat instead with the indicator!

probably wrong term, but when i feel like it, cause it can take a long time to get one, i fill up my inventories with furniture and make sure that my ammo bag can't pick anything up, and go to the rummage pile, if it's greyed out, it's something that you would have been given (stone, crops, the other garbage) if it's able to be picked up, it's either a quest item or recipe. it can take a long time, since you can server hop to "re-roll" the rummage pile

This is an old-ish bug now that they kind of "half fixed" by having them teleport to the front of your plot. They used to go underground, into the air, out of bounds, etc.

I'm not sure if it works still but the old workaround was to pick up the floor they were placed on and relog.

nah, the crafters disappearing underground and such was a bug with that patch, them teleporting to the front of the plot was a thing before the update because i tried it before when the conservatory came out to set them up in there and that's when they kept running away from me

yep, because i was going to use the conservatory to be my greenhouse with my garden on the side, saw a two tiered build on youtube that created stairs with the builder's floor and the gourmet chopping blocks that lead up to the small builder's blocks where i would have placed all of my preserve jar, only for all of them to teleport to the front of the plot when i came back from a hunting run. i kept the build up for a long time in hopes that s6 would fix it, but they of course haven't so i tore it all down to get back the limit numbers

alright, let me see if I can give you the gist of it.
It's not about the existence of a cash shop. Everyone knows the game needs one to survive if it's F2P.
It's moreso about how the cash shop is being handled, and it's S6's hard stance of "if this category of cosmetic is in the cash shop, you will never be able to earn ANY items of the same category through gameplay" that people have issue with.

Cosmetics might not directly impact gameplay, but the game is suffering from a severe lack of variety in earnable rewards that would make the gameplay itself feel more rewarding to engage in. Once you grow tired of home decor, there.... is basically nothing else in the game that you can earn. Pretty much every single other category of 'cosmetic' item that you could show off to people are paywalled, and people resent that.

So the "haters" are upset because they want to love the game, but feel like S6 is making decisions that will lead the game to fail, and feel that spending money on the game will only encourage S6 to continue making those poor decisions- speaking with your wallet and all that, to put it simply.
The continued focus on the cash shop, even despite constant game-breaking bugs seem to be introduced with every patch only reinforce that opinion.
When they try to discourage spending, they're not saying "we want the game to die", they're saying "please stop rewarding poor game management."

That's not exactly a fair equivalence there for many reasons, Netflix would have to shut down entirely plus it's a monthly subscription fee for the services you get, which has clearly always been a rotating stock. When Netlfix stops paying for rights for a movie, you don't lose all the other content available, like what Epiphany meant when they said if Palia shuts down none of the content, including paid, will be around anymore.

i believe hot pot is "supposed" to end at round 16, if nobody gets a winning hand during that time, i think everyone gets one coin, but the idea behind spampot is that you're going through multiple rounds extremely fast, since you don't have to look at the cards and just move on to the next player, this way you can get through more games than normal. some people like to play the game the correct game, but others just want to get the coins asap

The “game” being Hotpot. 90% of the time whatever card I pick, it’s always the “wrong” one. The RNG gods spite me.

For instance: If I have two carrots and one potato, then getting three carrots would give me more points than a carrot, potato, and corn. However, if another card appears that I need for another set, I have to decide “Do I want to dispose of the potato, and hope a carrot appears?,” or “Do I want to dispose of one carrot, and hope a corn appears?.” AND 9 TIMES OUT OF 10, which ever option I choose, the game gives me the OTHER card. 🤬

I always go based on what original hand the game deals me. Some people like to go for the same set of cards each round, which makes it obvious what their next move is. I play Hotpot when I have the urge to. I mainly go to the Underground to see which decor items are available, but even that’s bleak (once you have so many of things).

Nothing worse than being dealt a VERY lucky original hand…and still loosing. 😂😂😂

I don't think we are painted in a corner. For one, folks will always have access to the default plot so if we do any updates there, it's not like folks with landscapes will lose them. There's probably some functionality we'll want to add to the landscapes if we add it to the default plot, but it probably depends on the specifics. But they're largely built in a way that inherits a bunch of tech from the default plot so hopefully any updates aren't difficult to spread to them too.

Open Beta had just began like August 10th of last year and the Regular Maji Market arrived within a couple of weeks or so and everyone was still pretty much poor at the time so they changed it so that most of the items required earning tickets and it sadly stuck.
I wish there were more gold options as well. It would give those of us trying to stay off gold cap something to spend on rather than Zeki Coins all the time.

Like Mama Chai said, cooking parties are the best and fastest profit. The advantage for cake parties is that you can join free roles that require no ingredients so you only net profit.

Sushi and poke bowl parties are faster and net a lot more gold but you'd need ingredients and they can be quite fast paced (but if you like foraging, focus on collecting sweet leaf or garlic).

For passive profit, jam your produce in the preserves jars (I usually do nappa and bok choy since I don't use them for cooking).

Worm fish is worth more than no bait fish and glow worm fish is worth more than worm fish.
Also depends on fishing location

I think Bahari coast is the best place to fish for profit. It has the highest value fishes and a lot of starred spots (starred fish is worth 1.5x more)

my recommendation would be to make the decor you can make multiples of at the same time. Load up on sapwood planks and build Builders Wooden items, you can highlight the number and up it way high to auto-craft tons of stuff at once. Plus wood is super plentiful.

1000 palium bar is just their safety recipe bcs of the sunrise valley incident last year
they just straight up changed every 1 stone recipe to 1000 palium bars, seems like they forgot to give the rugs an actual recipe

the funny thing is they only coast 10 stone at last year winter and then i checked in in summer cause i wanted to craft soem of then and i found out that they cost 1000 Palium ingots and i reported that before and now this . S6 are makng a lot of wrong decisions last times even the server stability was a joke the last patches around. No New chest since a year. the Maji-mark Stampcard doesnt rest itself when full so i dont have any reason to go to it again cause quest/Chest and Stampcard dont reset when i am finish with it or when its full.
