I also want to say, I can understand the idea that trading for those kind of items, may feel like it's pointless, or might even lessen the value for said items. But depending on how the trading is done, I think it would actually still be beneficial.

As others said, it's an option! But I want to also add onto this, in case others didn't mention (because honestly, i skimmed and didnt read everything fully )

There will still be people there doing the activity and working towards getting that item. Those people may also enjoy helping others if they want/need for said rare item, too! And people could also trade equal value. It can boost the sociability! Which would also be great.

I think it would still have that value for those items, tbh-- maybe even more then! And it might have people doing some skills more for that reason. I think it would just help things feel more accessible rather than "easy" ! There is a difference and fine line between those, that I personally, can find hard to judge or tell the difference!

Whenever there's those kinds of functionality, it always makes me want to focus on one "skill" and help people with that skill. One thing that comes to mind, that has similar where everyone can do every skill, is, honestly new world.

Tons of stuff is still worth a lot on the trading post, even though people can always go and get to that point for that item. It's just more accessible, and some people may just prioritize 1 skill more than the other-- but the value for said item is still up there.

I don't think that people can really be 'lazy' in a game, especially one like Palia. Players don't effect each other so what I do will never impact anyone save for myself.

I mean, I can understand where you're coming from, but I don't think that would effect much. It would just make it easier for some who may struggle with things due to dsiabilities, as mentioned above-- or for those who are struggling to get one item. ((I know one person who still has yet to get the Goldfish, and it's been absolute hours for them. And when I say hours, I mean.. in the thousands.))

It would help and just overall make it more accessible.

Would some people use it or try to ask for help for an easier time, who may not need it? Sure. But it'd still be an option, and that's completely valid and fine, too! Either way, people would still be working towards that item-- and if it's not the person who is asking for the item, it'll be the person giving the item. There's still some work being done!

What needs to be done is have mods a thing so it can expand on many ways to play for those who cant do it traditionally. That or make some auto feature that can accommodate. If you havent checked out Farm Folks yet, I highly recommend. Their discord has a lot of what they have already in the game and a ton more to come. The building alone is probably one of the best I have ever seen so far. very innovative. And the sheer detail in customization blew me away. Just to customize a couch for your home would probably take you 30 mins or more its got so much flexibility its kind of insane.

Tbh, this stuff is why I'm sort of being hesitant-- in the sense of not getting my hopes up. If it all ends up true w/ what theyre wanting to do, it'll be amazing, but i dont want to hope too high in case it gets crashed. 😭

either way, i've been enjoying watching the development and concept art that they have done & do. I love seeing that stuff, even if it's just concept stuff that never comes to fruition. I always find it so creative and interesting tbh

I totally agree... but a lot of what you may have seen on the discord is actually in game. If they start showing you vids of them taking concepts to the next level, more than likely itll be in game. I dont think I have seen but maybe 1 thing they said they want in game but would take a while to figure out, right now though, a lot of stuff is set in stone. I have a bit of faith in this developer, Ive seen their other work and am satisfied they will prevail with a solid game, even if they cant bring a few concepts to life, the game will be a competitor in the cozy farming sim genre.

I just wish they would hurry up and release a demo of some kind... its driving me nuts and I wanna experiment with the building and customizing.

I def feel you on that... I cant help getting hyped. I too have been burned a couple of times and I never spend money on something that doesnt at best have enough content and or runs decent and has some inspiring features to look forward too. As mad sometimes I get about how S6 is dealing with Palia, I did support it (maybe too much) because it has given me quite a lot of hours of fun. I would say about 100 hrs of fun and a 100 hours of rng nigthmare grinding... but fun, none the less. However, the wife and I have sworn off anymore money spending till S6 gets their act together.

+1 Whats funny is these elitist gamers want you to play the game the way they do. Problem is a lot of us cant sit at our PCs all day grinding. Or be lucky enough to have the RNG Gods favor us. If this was a competitive game, I would probably be against full on trading, but it isnt... its a coop, cozy, relaxing game where no one gains a advantage over anyone else causing loss to other players... When you make planks,ingots, bricks etc… leave those items in the crafters till you need them. You can also fulfil requests or just straight up selling stuff

sell things that you don't need extra of (i.e. if you have a ton of seeds for crops, sell them and just keep enough to replant same goes for raw crops, turn what you don't use/need into seeds/preserves), place star quality items such as bugs, fish and such on an empty plot that you're not using, use crafters for extra storage. decorate your plot, doing so will make you use your materials. if you're not decorating with flowers or trees at the current time, sell some of them (can always get them back). doing things like this i went from having a completely full storage to around 3,000 items in storage

Yes, item trading has been a hot topic ever since the first tests. There were a lot of people early on who really wanted to do specific skills they were good at to help other people, or in order to roleplay.

When will the real content come? As a long-term player who has really streamed for 9 months + only Palia, I find it extremely disappointing that nothing has happened so far in terms of supplies for missions or general exciting gameplay

Yes, when they complete a grow cycle at 6am they will jump. So if you went from the tree plot, to your main plot and were there at 6am that's where they appear. Also if you change plots and leave and are kilima/bahari they will jump to the plot youbwere last on

You can sell them, I think one or two are necessary for quests etc but no more than that. Starred ones can be used for decoration. You can also gift them to villagers, (almost) each of them has one that they like and it boosts your friendship.

Some of the stuff should of been better tested before it's released though, is moreso their point. Which, I do agree. There's been some... issues that have happened in the past.

Muujins were missing for an entire month (i think it was a month or longer? someone can correct me pls), there was also a bug/glitch where people would straight up crash when they went into the Water Temple and stuff, that was bad and was there for a while

A lot of stuff that people do say here, is out of passion & wanting the best for the game. But there's also a lot that some people-- who have been here for a long time (alpha testers, closed beta testers), who have seen things that just... also makes things frustrating-- no matter how much passion we may have for the game.

I struggle to play due to my disabilities and things feeling very inaccessible for me. Fishing is close ot impossible sadly, for example-- due to mobility issues, my arms/hands/fingers getting inflamed when I do fishing, etc. And there's other players who have similar issues & other issues related to that.

I can't believe I just read a back and forth about how good S6 is at communicating and listening to feedback.

S6 was informed multiple times they needed to mark the steam release as early access, they did not and once it was released and they got major backlash they put out some word salad "clearing the air" and making promises that have still not been delivered on.

This game is not in beta. It's a live service with a fully functioning cash shop - it's early access at best, but they're honestly just abusing the term "beta" to excuse their inability to do anything correctly.

I find that there are min PC specs required to play most games but ... the complaining and whining from folks that have the bare min(old laptops,Switch) with lots of glitches that inadvertantly cause glitches for a whole game in general but the devs want those $$$ so they will dumb down a game- is the engine Unity? I started out on a potato Skyrim was my 1st game and it was brutal until I updated to a new system, so I feel you but I shouldn't have to suffer a glitchy game because of it. Have you heard of Enshrouded? I got into it but almost left it because its a challenging game. It was too hard for a lot so the devs listened and put options in settings where you can go EZPZ or Brutal where it will take at least three of your friends to take down the bosses. They don't have any microtransactions. You have to find and unlock everything and its a big sandbox and getting bigger soon cuz their adding another biome. If you grew up on Minecraft you will like this game .These devs are having a halloween building contest why doesn't Palia do that?

I think this was their "biggest" mistake and it's currently one of their biggest issues. They promised a lot to players in terms of accessibility, feedback and being inclusive, but they couldn't meet the mark they set themselves for.

As many, I really enjoy and like this game and my main concern from the beginning was the ongoing trend of vagueness and delays in adressing issues, which now has sadly been amplified by the layoffs and lack of presence of S6 representatives in the Discord channel. At least that's how I see it.

Whats sad is there are devs that are in the discord, they just never talk. I think in part they probably don't because they remember that the reddit AMA they did a while back was very out of touch for what players want/expect out of the game. They're likely avoiding doing another because management (as has been shown through glassdoor reviews) doesn't want to change any of the issues

And I'm trying to clarify to anyone hoping for accessibility options that those are not going to happen, because if you read their resignation post, it is literally NOT a priority for S6. The higher ups literally do not care. And that's why the shep resigned. They just got tired of trying and not getting anywhere. That's an inexcusable slap in the face to the players who started playing because at the outset S6 claimed this was going to be an accessible game.

But sadly, as we all know, games are also a business and sadly, corporations will always seek profit. THey haven't listened from the outset. I pointed out their microtransaction plan is garbage and set them up to fail. And they are showing absolutely NO signs they are reversing course, which is why I am saying the game will most likely be sunset by the end of fiscal 2025.

Sadly companies often don't listen to individual demands, they really need to set a better stream of communication with the players. Understandably, not all feedback is going to be taken into account, and sadly most companies only act when the feedback is overwhelmingly negative.

I'm also frustrated at their microtransactions sytem, specially because it's really unaccessible for people outside of the US/EU such as myself. I know the cosmetics aren't a necessity, but it is frustrating for us players in other regions to be unable to support the game because the exchange rates to dollars can really inflate the prices and for some people a $50 costume is worth an entire day's salary.

I just hope things improve, specially for the folks asking for accessibility options.

The game can't survive purely off of home decor being the only earnable goal to work towards, eventually people are going to run out of space on their plots- all of them- and then what?
Adding a new zone + more things to collect isn't going to fix anything if people run out of space to show off their collections.

Honestly, I would just love if it was a way to have 2-3 parts of a furniture you can choose to change the color of. and You can pick the color from a palette of specific colors that they have. I mean, a colorwheel is tbh preferred but ya.

That way it would expand on the creativity, can have more natural wood tones and more neutral colors. Ppl can have dark colors, pinks, greens, etc.

Jel & Tish have quests that overlap with eachother. They both help you learn how to make dyes. Flowers, bugs, fish, etc. It'd branch their personality, give jel more purpose-- even can help with his self-esteem adn self-worth, etc... it'd be nice.

This is something I have opinions on! 🤣 Glitching is cool, but can also be very time consuming and frustrating. It can also be difficult to understand, and some people have a “holier than thou” attitude because they can do cool tricks. What would be perfect is to have zero collision and the ability to rotate everything 360° on the X and Y axis. It’d eliminate so many decorating constraints.

I agree with this. I have fun glitching and some pretty cool stuff can be achieved but it can really take so long, which is one of the reasons I'm currently burned out on decorating. I think it's fun to be able to create stuff in a different way, but it would also be ideal if we could be given more freedom (specially since with every patch many glitches also get affected or get more difficult).

I know what you mean! I have only had luck by this point with color matching mostly from the sheer amount of decor I've crafted and tried out together- that was kind of the idea behind the inn itself! It's still not fonished quite yet but it's rooms and cottages themed on either a furniture set or a mood, so for example the blue room in question has mostly dragontide but also some shore modded makeshift and sunrise valley stuff in it as well as blue butterflies and the blue starstones etc. But the Witchy Flow Study Cottage has investigator, ravenwood, moonstruck, and some capital chic and other stuff mixed in for The Vibes. I'll have to put it up on tours next week since my fall-o-ween kitchen plot got the edge for obvious spooky reasons this week

Community managers don't do anything in game - moderation is handled on S6's side. CMs are essentially, in the most simple terms, the posterchild for the game on social media.

honestly, if you want a game that gives near-total freedom when it comes to building/decorating, I would still point to phantasy star online 2: new genesis as my ideal in terms of what I'd want to see in a decorating system feature-wise
the game lets you place stuff in midair without needing to rely on glitches, it lets you clip objects together, it lets you save designs and copypaste them elsewhere (though with certain limitations), etc etc and even allows for terraforming the terrain to your liking.

Palia could learn a lot from it, imho.

Decorating is never ending, which is why I think it’s the most frustrating. You complete a quest or achievement, that’s it. It’s over. With decorating, there’s no wrong answer/millions of possibilities, so it feels like a constant WIP.

In a "decor as endgame" environment, once you get your house in a state that you consider perfect, you can't add or remove anything to it without having to redo a ton of it.
Got your house perfect, but you're at the decor limit? Well guess what, a new plushie just released and if you want to show it off in your perfect house, you have to "ruin" it by removing something else first.

Exactly this. It’s why I don’t spent too much time in game. The decorating quickly leads to burnout, which is why I’m not a fan of constant new decor additions with the restrictions in the game.

Everything is done (quests and friendship levels), I COULD fish because I’m missing 3 starred items, but I get bored with it.

I personally hate having to choose between "make house pretty" and "use to show off achievements."
I want to show off my achievements, but I also want to make my house pretty.
I could try to work around this by having one plot be my "trophy room" and the other plot be my "beatiful home" but then I run into the issue that I don't want all my crafting stations on either of those. Yet I need my crafting stations to, yknow, play the game.
So I leave my 'open' plot as the crafting-focused one, but then no one ever gets to see my pretty house OR my trophy house... and it's just incredibly demotivating no matter how you look at it

I get motivation for decorating because I love decorating IRL, and also in the decor channel on occasion. Learning some of the basic glitching techniques made it easier to implement certain things. I just want my main plot to be “done,” so I can put it on the tour board. Not even for reactions (the flames are the best nameplate, even though I think they’re all mediocre), but because I want people to actually see it! I just feel that so much is overshadowed by outrageously awesome glitched plots. Not everyone has the ability to do that, and they should get love and attention, too.

I haven’t been to a cake party in months. Outside of trying to finish my plot, I’m probably going to take another Palia break. I love this game, I am just getting burned out.

It's likely only a few people will see your plot if it's on the tour board, unless you advertise it. It's disappointing to spend weeks or months decorating to get maybe a dozen votes for 'cute' at then end of it. Better to share your plot with people directly.

Oh I get you. I also love decorating irl and in other games, and it is still my favorite thing to do in Palia atm. I'm also disappointed by the way the home tour system works though, it's mostly turned into a l4l system like in social media, and even plots that have been worked on for hours don't get as much attention.

I like to see what others have done, too. There are some hella creative people in this game. There’s certain things I’ve thought of, but didn’t know how to execute it, then I’ll see someone have it on their plot, and I’m like “PERFECT!” The biggest example was Herp Derpson’s piano several months ago. I always wanted to create a piano (mind you, this was before we even had half the stuff people use to make pianos now) but had zero clue how to go about it. Seeing his, then a few others, gave me ideas.

Not so much a specific spot, but many glow worm fish sell for a good price, especially if they’re starred. Bahari Bay on the coast is a good start, and the caves in the underground/Bahari

A minor tip, if you’re level 10, and haven’t caught a bunch of rarer fish, I may hold on to them, in case it’s needed for a quest/bundle. It’s tempting to sell fish/bugs for gold, but some can be difficult to acquire.

Late, but referring to the decor conversation, I have 2 plots that I consider my OG plots, nothing glitched all very basic, maybe even a little boring. One is all functional with processing items and the other is a tavern based on a D&D campaign, I don't change either of them around much at all because of nostalgia reasons and they've been with me since closed Beta (what can I say, I get attached to things easily lol). Anyway, I was on one of those plots when someone came over. They walked around, we chatted a little, and they said "nice WIP, see ya!". I stared blankly, blinking my eyes at my monitor, and thought no, no, kind human, not nice WIP, this is exactly how it's supposed to be. I do love learning new techniques and getting inspired to decorate though!

So way back in the early days of palia beta, like a week or two after launch, a user showed up in the discord and asked "hey, some dude showed up in my plot, grabbed my fountain, and ran away, what can I do?" or something along those lines
which, at the time we had an issue where peoples' plots were loading in a way that merged them into someone elses, and the playerbase immediately assumed that people could hack/glitch their way into your plot and steal your stuff. So the response was to recommend locking down all your plots to private only while things were investigated

I wasn't too concerned about losing stuff, but I was still curious so I decided to set up a housing plot that had nothing but a tent, a table, and a sushi plate on the table. Since sushi was highly sought-after at the time, I basically joked about leaving it there as bait for any would-be plot robbers

Nothing really came of the incident, but occasionally you still get people making references to the fountain heist to this day

First of all, welcome to Palia! I hope you have a great time in game and within the Palia discord. Don't forget to check out the pinned messages in #💬│palia-general and other channels, as they can have useful information.

Gardening is one aspect that is affected by time passing. Depending on the crop and fertiliser you use, you might not have to water crops or worry about weeds for a day or so in game but eventually you will need to water the crops.

If you have items in your crafters (Campfire/Grill, Worm Farms, Sawmills, Glass Furnace, Fabric Loom, Seed Collector, Preserves Jar or Smelters) to process, they will continue to process even if you are offline and will stop once it has run out of items.

The crafting time to build the housing add-ons that you purchase from City Hall also will continue to process even if you are offline but fortunately the longest wait time is now only 1h36m.

I think my favourite part of Palia is running around Kilima and Bahari and being able to play by myself but also able to play with others. I really love seeing when players type in chat and notify other players if there is a flow tree (FT), palium (pal) or rare foragables and give out the coordinates and possibly let others know if they used a flare to help show where it is.

Hia there. Been doing pretty well for myself in the Palia world - but I'm a little bit stuck on something. I'm just past leveling all skills to 10 and am in the middle of gathering all the keys from my relationship quests. I have a few questions about moving forward.

1. Is now a good time to select a Shepp?
2. Does the Shepp really change the game much? (If I pick Einar will I be stuck fishing forever to complete some questline that goes on forever?)
3. I'm currently at 800 focus should I keep pumping renown into that or start expanding my plots?
4. If I expand my plots do I get more storage space or garden plots?

I feel like I'm in this transition stage of the game where things go from grinding skills to grinding relationships. Just need some more information to get my footing and move forward with the gameplay.

1.) You can pick a shepp at any point, as long as you reached the requirements for it. Whenever you feel up to doing that! Personal preference, in my opinion! You could even take your time and get to know the villagers more, and raise your friendship levels, until you choose who you'd prefer!

2.) It doesn't change too much. There isn't a questline specifically for that person in the regards you're saying-- stuck fishing, etc etc!

3.) If you didn't know already, but there's two shrines you can put all that renown in. You don't have to focus on the shrines, and you can start expanding on the plots-- again, up to you! I personally focused on the shrines first. (Getting more focus & xp gain from focus)

4.) You don't get more storage space or garden plots, unfortunately!

Yes, you will level up quicker with a full focus bar. The max is 1,000.

1.) Maximum focus bar reaches to 1,000!

2.) The Focus Bonus % is essentially just to help you get more XP based on how much focus is consumed. Everybody starts at 20%, and this can have a max up to 100%.

I.. Hope that answers the question? haha! The focus bar just helps you hold more focus to be consumed, and just the other shrine (The phoenix one gives the focus bonus increase) just helps give bonus xp, essentially.

If you haven't already, I'd look into buying storage chest upgrades. You can find that through Tish's furniture store! (You can place 8 storage chests in total on your plot. Apologies if you already know these, just wanting to make sure)

Also, backpack upgrades.

Other than that, that is personal preference, I think? Because I'm.. pretty sure the rest is decoration related? And some cooking recipes. You can also use it to buy materials that you might need for recipes too, like butter from Zeki, for example.

Other than some of the cooking ingredients from Zeki, you can get the other materials naturally on your own. But it can be nice buying like.. stone or whatever from .. I want to say Siifu? for convenience if youre building a lot of furniture lol

Yeah! You can also buy a lockbox upgrade, which is just.. well, a lockbox lol. But it holds up to 100 items each, but you can put down 3 of them for a total of 300. So it can hold like... cooking ingredients for you, that are starred or something, that you're not wanting to use when cooking.

It helps with not accidentally using something youre not wanting to.

...My fav thing what i like doing though, is putting my wallpapers/flooring in there, so theyre easier to find lol!

Oh, and in case you haven't noticed, furniture/decoration doesn't take up storage space in your chests! Which is nice. So if you do like making lots of furniture, and wanting to just store it in the chest for now, you can!

Some people like using a diff plot though as an "Ikea" or something to easily look at the items and get them, though! But I always found it handy knowing it doesnt take up space, at least, in the chests

Just to forewarn you since you asked, this game is pretty much entirely grind. There is very little else to do; expect a lot of farming the same resources to craft furniture and dealing with RNG activities a ton (such as fishing.)

You can easily spend hundreds of hours if you want to make everything, it's just going to be a lot of the same content.

Eventually It takes quite a few watering cycles though. Once it's done requiring water it will produce a seed for you, that's how you will know when it's fully grown and mature.

your best bet is literally just descending to it and grabbing the chest midair

The chest itself should have collision (it at least did last time I tested), so you might be able to just land on the chest and pick it up while standing on it.

The pillar and tree on that island has collision too so you can land on them. Falling in the water after having landed on tree or pillar can put the player in a weird, stuck state requiring the use of "unstuck" from the menu which should put you back to where you were before gliding to the island.

According to the last post in palia-news, Fall’s Flourishes (Patch 0.185) is coming on Tuesday, October 22nd, and contains the following statement.

So take your pick. One is correct but we probably won't know which until the 28th.

Heres what i think it should say:

The comma after the word rewards makes them two unrelated things mentioned in the same sentence.

Yeah, the underground and such ain't for everyone. I think most of us honestly are here primarily for the plot and decorating. Most other things are either distractions when being frustrated or exhausted with decorating, or something we absolutely have to do to unlock something we want even if we don't like it. At least that's how it is for most folks I play/talk with. Exceptions apply of course.

Im one of the opposites, I do enjoy decorating but its definitely secondary to everything else (quests, achiv hunting, collecting, etc). I'v been playing since open beta and its made me slowly sadder that over time its started to feel more and more like a decorating simulator with extra steps.

I've already gotten to the point where - as much as I like what we are being teased - don't trust it to look or work the way we're given the impression it will, or that it'll just release broken to a point of unusable. And there are things I would like in the trailer that may well just be "fluff" to pretty the trailer and not something that we'll get. So I'm kinda in the "not gonna be too excited, at least then I won't get too disappointed" (I'm sure they'll still find a way to disappoint though). There's just no trust left.

Yeah, unless they've elected to not show us everything in the trailer I do notice there not being many things that look like they could be placeable bushes. The lack of that made a recent build really hard... trying to find ways to hide builder blocks when the only thing you have are skinny nettles or using the same bush with white flowers everywhere. I do see some greens, but I suspect those are just part of the log, or simply set dressing for the trailer and not part of the set.

The UI is something I think could be improved quite a lot, and as you say the craftin bench could do with some changes to make it easier to see the end result. In fact, even if they made the icons big some of the icons in this game are just so extremely different from the resulting thing. It may not be craftable, but whenever bad icons come up I always bring up the Makeshift Bird Bath. Not a single part of that looks like the picture. They already have 3D previews of object in the modification bench that you can rotate around and all... I'd prefer they just add that instead to the crafting bench.

yeah and this is actually the reason why no earnable cosmetics of any kind is such a sore point for me- I love progression. Visual progression, seeing my character grow in a way that others can see too. It's just... disappointing to me, realizing that if you're f2p, you could be the most accomplished player in the game and still be stuck with the exact same wardrobe you started with. You're basically stuck looking like a default newbie forever and that just irks me lol

I've actually left feedback a few weeks ago about Skill-inspired nameplates that can be earned as an achievement or unlockable via the guild shop(s). I hope they consider it someday.

It doesnt even have to be cosmetics for me, items or say 'the ability to add fast travel points to your plot board' or you could unlock a second fishing attachment slot or just anything :( A weird thing that kinda bums me out cosmetic wise is I always thought it would be a cute idea to have t-shirts for the events, like a maji market tshirt u can buy from a stall. Like its nothing crazy, just one of the already free shirts with the maji market icon slapped on. Just to show u had been/something fun to change into when u go or whatever. It wouldn't stop people buying cosmetics :( But yeah I just want to earn things, I have completed every single accomplishment (dont judge me ;-;) so I dont even have those to grind anymore and they keep nerfing things or adding in rng stuff. Lots of whinges from me hahaa, I do love the game and there is lots of good things too

These are all great ideas for skills. I've even sent in feedback long ago for Palium Trophy's. We have bronze at level 10, silver at level 25 and gold at level 50, why not a palium one at level 100. Anything to give us more incentive for the grind we do.

Halloween is by far the worst offender of this for me tbh
its a holiday/event all about dressing up, and yet f2p aren't offered even a single cosmetic, not even like a mask or a little horned headband or something, that would let them participate in the occasion. :/

"cosmetic cash shop" does NOT have to mean "no earnable cosmetics"

Earnable nameplates (like the Maji Market one) are a step in the right direction, let's hope that it extends to some simple wardrobe items
They already have the earnable chapaa outfit for inviting friends, so they could definitely add more earnable stuff

I personally think its a great business model, they are (so far) 100% making sure nothing they sell for real money gives any kind of advantage to keep the game free. The way they make money isnt the problem to me, its that they are making it a little less fun to do things in game by not adding even very simple BASIC cosmetic for things like events. Reskinning an already free tshirt with a maji market logo on it would not effect any player who is willing to spend money on cosmetics

earnable cosmetics gives people a reason to get invested in cosmetics, when people are invested in cosmetics they will be more likely to look at the cosmetic cash shop to add to their collection.

also, improving on the cash shop would help a lot too
let people buy pieces of outfits, for example

as someone who has bought multiple pets and cosmetics, Im still firmly on the side of 'give all players a single basic free pet', thats the only one I feel is a little unfair cosmetic wise. Also the pets will never be able to have any function past being a plush that is constantly attached to you unless its something everyone can have, which just seems sad and like a wasted opportunity

On a positive note, the more cosmetics they bring out the more likley sales are on older items meaning people who have a little less spare cash can grab something :D

yeeees, I always think this! I played dreamlight before this and the amount of clothing customisation there was SO good, here you cant even change your shoes, when its such a cosmetic based money earning thing I would of thought it would of been much more customisable like that

The problem is, the shoes are attached to bottoms. If they were to make them separate, they would have to separate the shoes from the bottoms for every. single. outfit.

Full body slides for complete customisation would be ideal. Id settle for a handful of variants for each though. Like I play as a dude, even though im female, cause the female body is too skinny and i aint that skinny. Being able to make me character look more like me would be great.

yeah I think the same, sliders would of corse be preferable but just some variants would be great. Im super tall and pretty curvy so being able to make it look more like me would defo be nice. Tbh the thing I dislike most is the way the characters stand, kinda wish there was a version of the 'walk' they have in the sims but for how u stand hahaa

Having body sliders would be great for diversity however i doubt it will come in the near future. Adding those sliders would mean all the current cosmetics would need to get a way to fit all of the possible body types without looking like it was just stretched out or something
