Not only is the actual alcove not aligned, the fireplace is misaligned with the alcove, AND on TOP of that they're not aligned in the middle so you could easily place something onto the apexes of the arches

Hi, new here, but I have 2 current thoughts (yes, only 2, and they both involve Palia).

1. Please make fences easier to put together--- ie let me attach a fence to an already placed fence with the click and drag. If this is already a thing, my gamer fingers haven't figured it out yet.
2. I think a paver that doesnt show up until youre walking on it could make for some fun adventures.

i just checked one of my empty slots and yeah, it says that it has 152/3000 so it might be a bug? but if they are counting the trees that are around and outside the building area that were there before we started to build, that's not fair at all

someone replied to my post in game issues- said that all trees used count on every plot. so if you have that many on one, it will show on the others

i gave up on the nameplates after the first week where i spent so much of my time trying to get one of the reactions up to 200 votes (got 166 before the event ended) got tired of doing nothing but touring and reacting and not getting what i wanted out of it that i just stopped.

I believe they do, while also counting on every plot across the board. It's been an issue for a long time and lots have requested it be rectified. They even tried to do so, I believe, and that's what caused people to be unable to get seeds from trees for an update.

technical speaking, most of the stuff is still „active“ even when another plot is selected.
trees can grow, crafters still produce stuff, houses could be built….
cooking stations are a bit weird, but who knows.

The issue really becomes the "can't place anything even after removing things from other plots" thing. My main plot is not at max, but every time I even mistakenly pocket a paver, I can't ever place it down unless I deforest my woodland plot.

I hope the visibility and new plot item bugs will help usher in change for this. It really dings later game decorators, which in my opinion, is this games biggest audience.

It's people trying to get nametags and acheievements done. So they need to adjust it a lot, or this isn't going to be successful in the long run.
People are already getting tired of the struggle.

Part of why they added the tier 4 to begin with, I think... people already have (or are very close to having) all of the plates up to tier 3.

How it has worked before today's patch was you could only cast one vote per plot per week. Just wanted to make sure I understood what the devs sent you.

from what I understand from their reply to me yes. I emailed for clarification as I noticed my votes had gone missing on plots I FOR SURE know I voted for at least once or twice. I was verbally attacked by a member who shall not be named for leaving "fake votes" on their plot because I reacted to their post in the reactions thread two days in a row. SO I wanted to clarify how the mechanic works from the development team. I will copy and paste the email I received from them here if thats of interest.

We've had people testing it however, and daily votes are NOT a thing even if it was the orginal intention for how the feature was supposed to work.

Yes, it is intended for you to be able to visit and vote for a specific home plot each day. There’s no limit on the number of different plots you can visit in a day, and your character can vote once per plot every 24 hours. This all contributes to the home’s weekly vote count goal.

I have noticed that votes do shuffle around--which, I'm assuming, based on what we've gathered here, isn't supposed to happen. What you cast on one day should count, and what you cast the next day for the same person should also separately count.

The whole current system feels pretty bad--asking for people to tour you and leave you votes because you worked hard on your plot, and because you're in the same pool as those who submit empty plots that get hundreds and thousands of votes, on top of players asking you to send proof that you did vote on theirs--that last part feels especially bad when you are genuinely and honestly visiting/touring. DMing people to confirm your vote is so very unnecessary and tragic. Not even the point of Home Tours at all. Just... sigh.

hard agree with you on that. My idea for a simple solution is literally to give tour plot owners a list of who visits their plot every 24 hours? like a guest book sort of thing when a player submits a vote? I'm not a dev though so I have no idea how that would work.
Personally I do not mind doing screenies as I have time on my hands but I understand not everyone does and that can take a long time :[. Nor should I think we should need to send proof on an application that is not the game itself.

The original patch notes had a typo that said Wednesday, August 27th (for Pacific time, that day and date didn't exist) which was incorrect and has lead to confusion understandably

I think they overhauled the way support works because it's different now than it used to be. You get an automatic response that unless you follow up in 2 days about your ticket, they won't respond. It used to be they would email you about it as you supplied the ticket. So yes, I do think something changed. We don't know for sure though, because transparency is not the strong suit of the s6 communication team

Have you tried pocketing it into your backpack and placing it down again? Other tricks (have worked for trees not giving seeds) include plot hopping with it in your pocket and placing it on another plot to see if that works. Also- sometimes the growing things don't show the water meter until you start watering it. These are the workarounds I've heard about.

Are you fishing in the bubbles? If so, don't. Sushi can be fished up at home plot, so you don't have to waste trips home to dump fish into the bin. Also, use a hook time booster food or hook attachment so you can get bites faster. Otherwise, patience!

yeah, it's even more fun when you're hunting the magic muujin by yourself, and you track your target that just needs one hit left to a tree, then after you cut the tree down all of the wolves just disappear on you and you lose sight of the one you are hunting

They’ve done a lot of balancing across all skills so that you can really make money doing whatever you prefer. I really like gardening as a passive form of income, and hunting is how I make money the fastest. Fishing is a solid way to make faster money too, I just don’t like fishing 😂

It's a bug that we've unfortunately been forced to treat like a feature. And it's worse than we thought- it's actually all these things listed except the buildings themselves that count like this. We need to keep reporting it so it gets changed. It's been at least 6 months.

Tbh, Palia on the switch is usually buggy. I will also say, I have noticed some people mentioning they're having more issues lately on the switch, too.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think you should react with what you actually feel about the plot, be it cute, cozy, magical or amazing. The votes should imo be hidden for others to see.

If it's an unpopular opinion, it shouldn't be. That's what I did at the beginning until I learned that it was a numbers game that was being manipulated by cheaters and the popular kids (as usual). So now I jump on the random setting and vote on as many plots as I can before I crash out of the game. I would say 1 in 10 results in me floating in the clouds so I can't tour the place anyway. There's a lot about this system that needs to be fixed.

And I agree there's a lot to be fixed about the voting system. If I want a specific type of reaction I should build something that reflects that. People asking for cute reaction when they've built a totally amazing or magical plot makes me feel bad when voting.

and this is why having the reactions nameplates be achievements, it would be based on what you want to give to the plot not begging for what nameplate you want to get. also, it guarantees not only housing tours to be a thing to do in the game, but also getting the nameplates that you actually want, especially when the 4th tier needs 1000 reactions (still don't know if that's by a week or for total)

Other things to note about hotpot: your last tile must complete your last set, there's only 5 of each tile, and you can sort of figure out who's going for what sets by keeping your eyes on the discarded tiled that get scooped up!

A) Choose between two cards on the table that I both need to win
B) Deciding which card in a set to get rid of, example: if I have two fish and one shrimp, I’d get more points by having three fish, rather than a fish, a claw, and a shrimp. HOWEVER, when I give up the shrimp, in order to get a third fish, a claw appears, meaning I’d have won if I kept the shrimp.
