i feel like this will sound like a weird suggestion but even some sort of way to pay a one-time fee & you get a certain percentage off the cosmetics? like pay $10 you get 10% off, pay $20 you get 20% off (obviously capping so it's not an insane amount off). that would allow people to support the game if they want, get slightly cheaper cosmetics going forward, but wouldn't force anyone who can't afford it to pay that amount. does that make sense?

I'm late on this but you can't compare Palia to those massive games like League and Diablo. They do not have millions of players. They don't even have a quarter of a million players. With that massive of a playerbase, you cast a wide net and there are bound to be at least a few people willing to pay 60-70$ for a cosmetic.

But, I need to hear the overall game sound, so I’m not “lost.” I don’t know if that makes a lick of sense. I just have sensory issues. A lot of what theyve been adding are premium outfits, which is fine ... when there's content that actually gets added-- and it's been feeling really lackluster for a lot of people. Esp for those who are wanting more story and are wanting to see the game progress in that way. It's understandable for people to get frustrated. :(

We don't know who exactly were laid off. Did they keep the design people who make outfits that bring in money, and those providing technical support at the expense of the people working on new maps? We don't really know but something had to give.

I think that part of the hotpot problem is how good your computer is. That's why people are invisible too. I went from a computer that didn't quite meet the minimum to one that is high. I don't crash in hotpot and I can see everyone. Overall, the sound and the way the world works are 1000 times better.

I'd guess a lot of the patch is content we are not going to fully see. Hence why it is three gigs out of 20 gigs total. They probably also have to fully redo areas they've changed based on how they've coded it, like the change to the underground

No, if you fill your bags up you can't rummage to get something like a apple or seed. So you relog till you can and then it will be a quest item or a recipe. Used to work, don't know if it still does.

Fish tanks are being totally greyed put if there's more than four of the same size. Pathing? Could be duplicated under each one, on other plots, gone, or flying around. Also, cannot collect plot tree seeds. That it so far? Oh and home tours- you cannot move anything on that plot at all during the week cooldown (still waiting to see how this applies to using machines and processors on those plots!)

Right, I know about building outside of the build limit and rotating things not rotateable, which I think being unable to rotate the blocks normally is dumb, but basement means underground, or at least under main floor of house

The first round of layoffs was rough for the development team. I think the code handoff was maybe a little tense and we’ve seen the bugs and glitches skyrocket since then. I think the first team had a really good vision but they just were not there in the end to see it through. Now they’re too deep in the game to really make big structure changes and have to just keep coding with what they have. And now we’re here 🫠

This has happened a lot and the running consensus is you need to compete that quest to get the seed drops!!! Go do it and report back!! Someone was trying a server hopping/storage stuffing trick for DAYS irl and once she did the quest she got one immediately

I'm not understanding how this relates to getting the flow tree seed from the statue. You can only loot the statue once per day, like the silverwing shrine, but in order to have the chance of getting flow tree seeds at all you need to finish the questline.

Oh, yes, you have to grow normal trees to finish that quest. It's been so long since I did it that I was struggling to link the two things. But it only takes a few cycles to grow a tree to full maturity so it really could be done in an afternoon of play time if you alternate another activity with it, or afk like lots of people do to farm more stuff faster. Same principle.
