Like I got in a fresh server and there were flow trees everywhere but maybe got like 3 palium veins

That is really good to know. Odd that since Steam you don't really find that much ore and yet servers are still limited to 25 I believe.

If you call it out when you find it (dont need to wait just break it and leave after) then others will start calling it out too they tend to follow suit

I think I like that pal spawns where Iron can, I just wish that didn't mean Pal no longer spawns where it used to...at all.

Because I like that the new system rewards checking less traffic'd areas and gives us a reason to roam. Like I found palium way up on that cliff over that big alcove by the sea. Whereas in the old system I wouldn't even think to go there...ever

Because overall the problem is that people don't mine iron enough to really give anyone a chance to find palium because it just stays on Iron.

I feel like IF this is their final method, Palium should replace iron after a certain amount of time by force.

Because if a player just goes through and picks out the Palium and leaves all the Iron...that server will have ZERO Palium.

Which for me, feels like 99% of servers where I just am mining only Iron for an hour and then get maybe 1 palium vein. Unless it's a fresh server and then I'll get max 3.

mining iron doesn't make palium spawn. there's always 8 palium nodes on the map, as soon as one despawns another of the same size spawns somewhere else.

i would assume drops are handed out through an id as from their dev talks they imply item storage is done via a DB and those usually use join tables and ID's for items

Now that's relateable.
I spent all of my renown on the sidings and roofs and now I have nothing else to spend on & am capped again*. Also, fast-leveling doesn't mean anything as the exp per level doesn't change.

reknown and gold caps make sense to me. without them longtime players would be sitting on huge reserves so any time new purchasable appear they'd own them all instantly. caps ensure that new purchases translate into playing and keeping the world vibrant.

As it was I bought all the new roofs instantly and earned by my reknown again by end of market

but the 300 reknown shortage was motivating for a short while.

I mean a renown cap is alright because it kind of forces the later players to farm more levels in order to earn the content but even with that it's not that hard to regain renown (even if you're finished with most, if not all achievements barring the 10m max and weekly profession accomplishment doer).
It just feels like a stopgap to prevent people from hoarding way too much.

I do wish we had a renown sink for something, though.

its really hard to say especially looking at the workers lost, game development is a super unstable market as you need more devs during certain times than others, and its hard to justify keeping them all especially as more hands isn't always a good thing. With a game like palia its also really hard to say because we don't know how expensive the game is to run at its current scale

Hi friends I got some questions about the star stones!

• What are they used for?
• Are they needed in making items (furniture, consumables, equipment etc)
• Can they be used for gifting?

I'm aware that you can place down starred gems but they also sell for lots of gold so I was thinking maybe I should sell a bunch of them to get gold so I can buy crafting licenses and expand my plots but the real question is should I sell them or keep them incase I need it for important stuff. Emerald and jasper are needed for one bundle.
It's better to not sell the starred gems, collect them. You can just sell the duplicates later on.

Mhm star gems can be placed as decor, normal gems can be used as gifts to npcs, they are a good source of money like a bank for the future as there is a gold cap .

You can undo the tilled slots by using the hoe again, im not sure which button (i think its hold right click on pc same way you till with holding left click, not sure on switch.) but it is possible! You can also pull up whole plants this way if needed, but i do not think you get the seeds or crops from them if you do it that way!

What’s the best way to hunt invisible muujin? My arrows don’t hit even if I am aiming straight at it when it is invisible and it also doesn’t help that they teleport like every other creature in the game

They are nearly impossible to hunt alone. What kind of arrow are you using? Only the dispel arrows will get rid of the invisibility once hit. I would say try to get a group of people. 1 person to chop tree, & multiple shooters with each one using a different arrow- dispel, slowdown, & fine arrow. Happy hunting my friend

For one-off trees I can see chopping it and going ahead, but the groves happen consistently at the same time making them something people plan for.

Everyone plays the game a bit differently, and the 'etiquette' that some groups come up with won't be followed by everyone. It essentially amounts to a set of invisible rules that shouldn't be enforced on others. If people want to do callouts or wait for certain resources, that's fine, but it's not worth the strife of butting heads with people who don't choose to play that way.

S6 has chosen to design resources in a way that makes them competitive. Until that changes, these clashes will continue because there is no singular 'correct' approach. The recent changes to mining nodes might be worth considering for other things (like Flow Trees) since that seems to have removed a lot of the stress.

I have all the plots and I am working on two and do all my crafting/farming stuff on a third. This is beyond silly. Bad enough when flow trees teleport they stop giving seeds. Good thing my tree farm plot is just for show, but it will have 500 trees at different stages of growth. So they can teleport for all times ... or until the bug is fixed. But the cap bug is beyond annoying. I can't redecorate my main plot or add anything at all. I even removed 60 flowers just to add back the fencing section I accidentally removed while removing the flowers.

I LOVE the different outfits available (although most look more masculine than feminine imo) and I love that our characters look almost real haha. I too love this game and play for hours and hours.

May be a glitch on what it is counting, I did feel like one of my plots has way more flowers than my main plot which I felt like I hit the cap super fast...maybe it has to do with the volume of items on your plot already, like my main plot is covered in stuff whereas the plot I feel has more flowers is more bare and naturalistic with only 4 house plots compared to my mansion on my main plot

Yeah Im just saying IF some players are on switch then ALL platforms need cater to that, sadly. Because if a switch player goes onto a PC players plot with less limits and their Switch crashes from overheating they aren't gunna be very happy.

Which is why I tend to hate to see games I play go on Switch (or mobile) because it's just a massive limit on any real potential of abundance visually or systemically

But I do think a simple solution to the flowers situation is just having them count as items after 500 and be done with it. Then it's just another item on your plot and falls under the same performance issue prevention.

I'd just suggest focusing on detailing certain areas instead of spreading it thin, let the borders of your plot stay fairly empty to blend into the empty area outside of it and focus more on detailing packing specific sections...also, lowering your overall scope so you aren't doing a little of everything all over your plot vs doing one great thing that is really impressive.

Like I have a farm plot with little housing/decor but LOTS of landscaping stuff, trees, and flowers and crafting stations/farming stuff.

Then I have a mansion plot with LOTS of decor but way less landscaping and objects scattered about

Also trees are a good cheat as I don't think trees count towards any numbers and you can use them to fill space.

Like low lieing growing trees are great to help fill space in a garden if you just stop watering them at the smaller stages

Like they need a value scale. A flower costs 1 point but a bookshelf costs 2 and a fancy bedframe costs 4...and then multiply the plot maximum by 4.

You can easily swap between plots any time. You can use the items you already own – it's not a new character or account, just a different area to work with. You can customize it the same way you do your original plot, with its own visitor permissions.

I destroy most, but you can gift them to villagers! Or at least Tish accepts them for sure. Edit: also, furniture and those chests don't count towards the limit. I usually gift if I have already gifted their wants or just want something easy lol

I dunno about the stuck thing, for me it's only happened so far with certain dishes.. but the other, for a star dish I think you either gotta be able to complete it very fast, or use a lot of star level ingredients..

Most of the veg I grow in my garden are star level, so I just use those with cooking and most (not necessarily all) of the time I get star result cooked items..

They not rare Moon, its just some people are not announcing it in chat and keep all themself,i had that couple of times, i had also a whole IRL day , and i mean it a whole IRL day , not one pal or FT or Grove i could have, not one, changed like 10 times on new servers all the same issues, not one saying one thing, and when asking polite in chat, if there were any grove at midnight or pals or a FT, you were getting really rude, bad answers. I never had this before and was not happy spending a whole IRL time and getting not one item of those.

It’s not from when they appear. The blinking means someone mined it before you and a timer has started. It’s around 3 minutes once someone mines it

it will only take you 3 mins to get there if you walk the whole way. if someone calls it out you've got enough time if you take a teleport (assuming they call right after breaking)

honestly - its mechanic i hate, if someone mine and node resets or move to another spots, i rather love mechanic that node stay as YOU find it and mine it and than it movers to another spot, so you always have node for you

I'm a kind , helpfull person but when people are aggressive, mean, rude and not sharing rare items, FT,Pal or Grove i can be .... no words for it, i really don't like such people or when they saying, we didn't knew that we are new people , saying that with exquisite tools are no new people to me. Liars is what i don't like either, most for the time i'm playing SinglePlayer on games, no stress, no drama, but games like this you'll need to work together and i don't have problems with it but most people have.

You can progress pretty fast in palia Tbh so new people having exquisite tools doesn't surprise me at all tbh. You can get from makeshift to exquisite pretty quick is you play long enough and grt lucky finding resources

If you hit small flow trees multiple times, you will cut them faster than their health refills. I'm not sure what the biggest size that works is, but some are even one hit!

You can catch them with the makeshift ones, but it's easier with higher level ones. You might need worms and/or glow worms though, depending on which kinds of fishes you need, and might need to level up your fishing for those.
