here's how i'd write her: she's a witch in a place magic is illegal. she wants to be a rebel but she obviously can't bring herself to be fully open to that idea because she hides in the woods. this shows one very crucial thing: she's scared. she's a hedonist with a great affinity for acting. she wants to be seen but she's terrified of being known. this is why she cannot open up to hassian, but probably why she, frankly, used him. i think she'd do the same with the player and the interactions with the players would incite her personal development to embrace the uncomfortable reality of being known

we get so little about sifuu being a blacksmith I forget that she's the blacksmith tbf. I wish her story involved more of that instead of that novel lol

In my mind I see palia having multiple "hubs" as villages, but the amount of work they put into villagers with all the voice acting it seems impossible

Ehhh while I agree we ought to be critical of how women characters are written compared to their men counterparts, and I'm very demanding on that front, I cannot agree with calling any of the women shallow, except for Eshe, since it's one of her actual traits.

Delaila for one appears simple but she is competitive, has a rivalry with another woman owning a farm, will confide in us about how her duties as a mother can be difficult, because she feels unheard by her children, and has pride as a humble farmer all while doing what she believes is best for her kids.
I would certainly appreciate if she were given more writing thoughts, but "shallow mother" doesn't qualify her properly.

Sifuu is a mother who honestly wouldn't be considered so badly if she were the "opposite" gender. She lets her son be independent but cares for him deeply, only, she cannot control him, and it's obvious that Hassian could have been treated better, but the two of them make a very interesting parallel with Hodari and Najuma, in that they are quite opposite. Sifuu's character doesn't even stop at her role as a mother. She's rambunctious, passionate about the things she likes, and her child is a young adult/fully-fledged one depending on your take on the timeline (or possible elements of the story I don't know of yet).

And I wouldn't call any of the fathers great, they're decent. I think it's in fact biased to call them great. If they were mothers, we wouldn't consider them so amazing for what, caring about their children and listening to them? The bar for fathers is just on the floor tbh.

for me delaila is missing something, she does confide but her "issues" are always the same, the competition with the other farm, we hear her reminisce in the past about how she hoped she did well with badruu, and that and maybe a couple more were the only glimpses into depth, otherwise she seems very superficial

sifuu is written weirdly, she has good traits but there are odd choices there, I'm not letting go of this weird novella track, I'm not a fan of it at all, and most of her depth will come from hassian telling us about it rather than her, from what I experienced at least I may be recalling wrong (I maxed everybody out)

basically you can date everyone, but if you wear someone's pin it's supposed to indicate it's serious. you can choose not to wear them if you want, or wear one and then remove it later, it doesn't affect anything but some dialogue.

i chose ashura for my shepp! i thought it made sense because he's a mature and experienced member of the community. but it doesn't have any effect on gameplay so you might as well pick whoever you feel like. for romance, since you can date everyone there's no need to agonise over that too much either. (although some characters will have negative dialogue if you date certain other characters)

if you can make your game frame lag (by changing settings or opening a menu) you can get up high with the geysers easier

I've been testing the method where you stand on the geyser and jump just before it blows, so that it doesn't activate. Do this several times and occasionally it throws you extra high when you finally give it.

Previously, having more people on it at the same time adds to the height, but this stopped working for me. My two buddies went higher though.

You can run a SFC scan and see if it helps. Open up a command prompt (start menu > type CMD > right click run as admin) and type sfc /scannow and hit enter.

Especially the switch thing; I realized that fully when I read about how Sandrock's devs had been tapping their foot waiting for Nintendo to globally approve their switch patches for a chunk of time, which is why the switch version is always behind the PC version for that. but since Palia is an cross platform MMO they need to have complete version parity

that cs person who helped you was clueless, we reported this issue pretty well back in october....
to actually leave you need to be in a party from somebody in another region and sync to their region... but they disabled it, vpn might still work, you'd VPN to the region that got you bugged (EU or OCE)

Housing plot is a totally new emply lot for a new house.
Housing expansion are the square you buy for renown.

When I downloaded it, a free game in beta, I expected way less free clothing options, that all the cool furniture would be behind a paywall, way less content, way less exploration and discovery quests, I was in shock and awe that it has super satisfying platforming and hunting. I mean, I paid for Slime Rancher 2 and ran out of things to do SO FAST, it was such a huge disappointment. I am so confused about people complaining that they have optional premium outfits. None of the outfits currently are my favourite, and I want to support the game, they need to add more.

To get a little more in-depth, at least for a little, because honestly it's very draining to repeat yourself--

We have asked for, at minimum and the beginning of the game, for a brightness slider. It would help a lot of people. Font scaling/chat size scaling.

Being able to adjust individual volume would be nice, too-- as in, starred bugs or plants on the ground, vrs the other sounds in the game. This, I don't think has been talked about as much, but it's definitely been mentioned.

Would love to be able to toggle to fish, due to my hand/arm strength and my fingers. (Which I'm sure other would appreciate).

There's been a bit more in general, which has been talked about in general and logged (by us users, not s6). We at least have been asking to feel heard at this point. But they make no mention of it. @turbid matrix

the only thing i think is quite nice is the motion sickness reticle they have added, but the problem with that is that it resets everytime i log out. I have to go all the way into settings and turn it on again every single play session and that doesn't really help :(

The one thing that really gets me, though. Is the fact that (unless it's been changed now), the photosensitivity warning doesn't get brought up every time you launch the game. I understand it gets annoying, but it's important to be brought up.

The lack of options. Accessibility is all about enabling you to adjust the game experience to make it more accessible to you, but palia fails to do this as all of their "accessibility" updates wind up making forced changes for everyone, instead of simply providing the option to change it to your preference.
For example, the lighting. Some players complained that it was hard to see at night, so S6 ramped up the lighting to absurdly bright levels, for everyone, with no option to toggle it off. Now other people have to deal with eye strain as a result, when simply adding a brightness slider could have solved the problem for everyone, rather than fixing a problem for some people, and introducing a new one for others.

They have to find a way to not lose too much fans with games like Palwolrd (which is not that expensive) exploding with popularity. If this updates feels too buggy people will switch to something else and won't come back.

There is a few chappa ones and a small dragon that you could redeem tickets for last time hopefully the dragon will still be there. There was also a larger version of the dragon and a orange phoenix you could get for gold but I think they are not available this time around based on patch notes

There is a picture of some of the plushies and pillows that you can get in the documentation they posted about the patch and event. Basically there are like plushies in 4 or 5 differnt colors and pillows the same

Yes there is plushies you can get.. You need to go catch the Chapaas during the Chapaa chase at 12 midnight game time every game day.. like 12 times a day in real time lol

You will get rewards for the number of Chapaas you catch. The more Chapaas you catch the more plushies you can buy

Not true what you just said. You have to go to the patch notes and then follow the link " make sure to read up on our blog about it here!" it talks about the chapaa chase in that blog and even shows picture of the plushies
