Undocked its good, little bit of lag but way better than expected! Don’t know about docked, didn’t try it myself yet

I did struggle a bit with the controls, they were a bit different than expected, but after playing for a little you get used to it!

So I've been playing on the switch. I think its good. Its pretty stable until you try switching areas, then it can be long load times or it kicks you to the main screen and have to relog in. Changing Housing plots can be lag. I even had 1 instance when a piece of furniture traveled with me....lol. I had to pick it up. Go back to the plot it came from and put it back.
I like the fishing so far, Haven't tried with harder fish yet. so that could change. Climbing so far has been decent. but haven't done it a lot so could change. I liked cooking. the UI didn't seem like it changed, but was with a small group and was dong mainly apple pies. so a larger group or more complicated dish could change this opinion. The controls them self are interesting. I wish we could remap them. id def change a few things.... But by far the worst thing is chatting. its definitely a little clunky and going to take a bit getting use to...and a lot slower. So probably prefer playing on switch if I'm for sure going to be more solo...or doing VC. They should do like Animal Crossing did in the Nintendo switch app, You could chat through that and it would send it in-game for you.
I've played mostly docked, I hear hand held is better. I tried it it did seem less lag. The icons are so small though. so not sure how I feel about that yet.

1.) You can make a second PC account and link it at the very start of the game to an alt profile on switch
2.) Doing so will allow you to free up your main file to swap between PC and Switch by linking your main account to your main switch profile

I have a OLED switch and I have lots of storage with great internet. I’ve experienced some glitching in the game. As well as not able to connect at times. I just reload it. The switch does get hot when you play it as well as the battery does lose a lot of life. Because of this issue.

I’m struggling on my new switch. I have played the game on the pc so long that I’m like omg 😳 lol on the pc I can take out an entire flood forest on the switch I’m lucky if it hit 2 or 3 lol I have only had it 2-3 days and I played last night. Just take time to get use to the buttons I guess and figure it all out.

I guess at least I can decorate on the switch. A streamer said it was easier on switch than laptop and since I seem to be stuck at my house, why not? 🤣

Wow See I am the opposite. I played exclusively on my steam deck which is not supported and now with switch I am more productive than ever. I lvl so many characters and cleared a lot of quests in one day. Its for sure interesting to see PC players take on playing on switch!

Ya I feel like a complete dummy on the switch lol 😂 but I got the oled as an early Christmas gift just for this game lol so I’m like well … guess I have to force myself to learn this on here. It is nice when I’m not feeling well to be able to play on it, just need to step up my game I can’t stand that I’m not as fast on it haha. How long have you been playing ?

I started playing yesterday and now I am hooked. Since it's my daughter's switch, I guess I am going to buy my own. Lol. She is hooked also.
