i think it relies on what kind of experience you like in games! you're gonna be looking at your glider most of the time when you play, but if you value a really pretty plot and like to decorate more, a plot would be best

you have 25/30 rooms so it should be fine. I can see your plot is packed. I wanted to suggest to attach the small room to another room and then attach the hallway. Then move the small room back to the orig place with the hallway already attached to it. Some times that works. If you're can maneuver rooms then do that. Warning: anything on the walls you move or attach to will be returned to your chest so be careful what you do

FYI, the makeshift chandelier is staying, I just removed it for the second photo because of the photo angle. (Bathroom is two hallways, so the sink/mirror is behind me).

That's valid. I know the leaves can give an overgrown vibe, but I didn't like how it clashed with the banner. I do have the Fanning Leaves Wallpaper, but it's too light for what I want for this bathroom. I like dark and moody, which is probably why I use the black wallpaper for everything.

I may remove the banner. I only put it there so the wall wasn't bare. I'm a shelf queen, but I'm also being mindful of the décor limit, as it's over 2,700.

Thank you, and true. I originally hated the ranch house set, until I saw someone's kitchen with it dyed Shore, so I did that for my kitchen on my main plot. The kitchen was always my least favourite to design because of the lack of kitchen decor that was more witchy/goth.

I used the gourmet soup bowls + group select to merge them together. Truthfully, you can use any items that can sit on the tabletop to group select and merge; it doesn't have to be the gourmet bowls.

You can use the group select glitch to move other cabinets into your stations to make them look seamless

It's probably the easiest glitch to work with, place a cup(or any small object) on the corner of the cabinet you want to merge with your work station. Then make sure the cursor is on the cup and press alt(not sure of switch command) to group select. You'll be able to merge items together (to a limited amount)

• finish the post temple quest, a Gardeners New Oneness ||
  The ||ancient galdaur statue|| will then drop a tree seed once per irl day and it'll have a chance at ||being a ft seed.||

once u have it, the drop rate is 25% (i think) and all other seeds will be normal trees. u can increase the drop rate to a max 75% (also not sure) by planting the normal seeds and watering them until they mature and drop a new seed

The above method for getting flow trees on your plot as stated by Fern is correct, and will net you flow tree seeds. However, this patch introduced a bug where you can plant the seed, water it until it goes from seed state to young tree state, and after that you can no longer water, chop or put the tree back into your inventory. We're hoping that will be fixed by next patch, but no official word yet.

No but you can use the dividers/ curtains to mostly cover a door with only a little room to walk around. Lots of people do that. I put them everywhere to divide up space

You normally can't build there. I placed building floors right underneath the surface. If you do that it will let you place things on the building floors while they remain hidden.

The Maji Tori gate I had to flick it there because you normally can't place it on top of building blocks.

Everything there can be easily placed by placing pavers underneath the ground "so they are invisible to the eye" but for the pergola you need to learn how to flick. Or use a red present.

So you need to learn sinking and flicking.

Also you can search on YouTube "how to decorate out of bounds" or even "how to decorate the shipping bin"

There are many yt tutorials online if u search for “floating items” but basically u just need a wall with a shelf. Then you put the anchor (red present/ floor piece mostly) on the ground and the shelf in the height u wanna float the object.
U take the item from the ground and cancel it on the shelf. After u cancelled it you place the object u actually wanna float on top of the anchor u cancelled before. Then take the anchor move it somewhere, place it and the object on top of it will float. You can also turn the shelf if u want to change the angle.

Easiest way is to place a builder's floor just inside of the edge of your plot, the next floor piece gets attached to the front edge of the floor, need to find the sweet spot with your mouse for it to click

If your having issues try standing farther back and hit the front edge not the top

Or look a it off from the side so your looking down the edge and can run your mouse across the whole line till it clicks

Yea, if your going to the lake theres a few rocks and such you might want to flick a few in place to merge into it but other than that super simple

This biggest advice that helped me with flicking is to not actually press the buttons at the same time like everyone says, but to find the sweet spot where you press the number after placing the first item, you're trying to find that split second while the item is being place and over ride it, it's mostly just trial and error untill you find your timing

I don't have any pictures with gardens, but wanted to mention that the plot size is quite big (at least for me it looks big)
Ofc it depends how big of a house you want to have.
But it's good to keep in mind when starting your build, how big you want your house and everything around your greenhouse. To not end up with a lot of empty space in between them.

I have a decent sized house and I have a part of my plot unused, just some forest 😅

I guess it's also just me liking everything neatly close together.

Rotating your rooms around helps. Like placing your 1st room someplace else add the 2nd room to it and then attach them together to the GHH

Though it looks like your second room is clipping inside the GHH. Not sure if it will work.

Also keep in mind some players do use glitching...

Can you completely detach that room and place it somewhere else? Assuming you have space. Preferably attach it to a hallway so it forces a small opening. (And then to place it back ofc)

If it wouldn't be decorated I would totally suggest a complete removal of it and reattaching it back.

Also if you haven't tried already. To change the opening that room has to a small door

u can make a construction with blocks with height u want to achieve first, i have a ss for this, one sec

also don't do multiplace anchor like I did, do one at a time to your desires - like one paver holding one lamp

the new builders blocks bug is REALLY making things harder

• Builder blocks have a different grid than the plot grid when placing items directly on, it wont align to the center. Using Gourmet items group moving showing the grid on the builder blocks and can place moved items perfectly centered (only works with items that can have grid to place gourmet items on).

oh i know, and have been aware for months. the problem is that right now, they have this REALLY BAD tendency to snap to the center of rooms right now. it doesn't even need to be anywhere near the center of the room, it'll just go there and refuse to move.

i was also trying to put a floor on a pillar, but it constantly snapped to everything except the pillar, regardless of whether the grid was on or off, or how far from the other objects it snaps to are

this was not something i dealt with before the recent update :c
