Okay that's good. They'll need to submit a player support ticket if the option to speak to NPCs about the candles does not appear for them. Sending in screenshots from the other player's account of the Winterlights Wonder quest being active in their open quest log and screenshots of no Winterlights NPC dialogue appearing within the NPC dialogue menu will ensure support can help them efficiently.

It may also be good to send screenshots of the letter received from the Shepp or Jina, to show the quest was initiated.

Some missions get "locked" by progression of others but I think thats only friendship/romance quests needing other NPCs to be at certain levels before progressing, otherwise you can get to any and all quests at your own pace without worry

any of the stations to make ingredients like frosting, etc. there is no specific item — this has occurred on several different recipes (for example, celebration cake, flowtato fries, bean burger, and more) both with and without use starred ingredients being checked

Okay yes. So when you enter the temple and you're on that ledge of the mountain and the river is in front of you, glide over to the lower level of the ruins that would be directly in front of you. Enter the ruins to the left, the geyser is on the lower level inside of the ruins. You may have to go through a couple rooms to get to the geyser. Let the geyser send you upwards, and then again look to the left edge of the ruins, near a railing and the emblem.

If you have any screenshots of what's occurring, that may be easier for us to troubleshoot with you. The recipe cue card is indicating that you have the produce/items available before you begin, correct? (aka, it's not saying 0/1 or something similar?)

I dont have any, but if it happens again I'll screenshot it. and yes, it indicates that we have the items required, but then when we go to prepare the ingredients after the recipe is started it switches to being marked as 0

Something that may be happening is you may have enough to start the recipe, but once that starter is used, may not have the items for the rest of the recipe steps? But yes, send a screenshot when you can -- I think it'll be easier to see what's happening.

My guess is that allows group cooking, since you only need ingredients for your step.

If they’re not in your key items inventory and you truly did trash them, you can contact player support and they should be able to give them to you. Make sure you attach screenshots of all the locations of the medallions so they know you did find them already

There has been an update to weekly wants in the most recent patch. You need to go to the bulletin board in Kilima Village and switch to the weeklies tab and then there’s a button that says “discover” which will automatically switch you to the relationships tap and reveals all the weekly wants for the villagers.

You can just pick it up, upgrade it, and put it back down. You don't have to take anything out of storage. You just won't be able to put anything else in until you put the upgraded chest back down.

Did you take part in the great ruby digging stuff before it was patched, that could be why. Just go to where the final dig spot should be and I think that will work. That is just a theory though.

I did both the one in the fire temple and the glitch in the water temple and both were patched but I dug were the spots were and no dice. I messaged them maybe they can help! I was very new to Palia when those glitches happened lol

Yeah, the spots got patched to only be diggable once now so you cant dig them again, so just go the final spot and you should be able to dig up the parts

• go to auni's room and talk to him there (he may be inside even if his icon doesn't show),
• progress another quest involving auni such as a friendship quest,
• talk to auni at the maji market (it's not currently active but should start again soon)

Up and down the coast at the docks, it took me a month to catch non starred for the relic and 3 months to catch the starred maws (last month) for display. Im aware anglers potion is a thing now with this update but honestly, imo it’s a waste of Kilima coins. I bought it yesterday and in hopes of catching starred inyrevn mermaid, no luck. Without buying that potion, I got the starred mermaid fish few minutes ago ❤️. Only because I complained and it worked 😆. But it is up to you if you want the anglers potion. You will get that legendary maws eventually though

Gossamer Veil Moths, found in Kilima at the following locations, Leafhopper Hills, Reflection Fields and Whispering Banks, during Evening and Night, 6PM to 3AM,

Rainbow-tipped butterfly, Southern Bahari popular farming locations are above Pavel Mines, and Pulsewater Plains, spawn time Morning and Day, 3AM to 6PM, can also be found in Groves which spawn at 3am every in-game night.

Sptifire Cicada, found attached to Medium and Large Juniper and Pine trees anywhere in Bahari bay, during the morning and day, 3AM to 6PM, I don't believe they spawn with honey lures, I usually find mine in the Flooded Fortress

For the RTB I actually had more luck using a buzzy jar and running between pavel mines and pulsewater plains nabbing any bug that popped up on my compass

You're likely to get alot of jewelwing dragonflies and azure stonehoppers before a RTB though

for the veil moths I find them in reflection fields more often than other places

if you have the quests Adventure on the Horizon, Prismbeard's Treasure or The True Treasure active, then auni and nai'o will only be in the locations for those quests - they probably won't show on the map but they will be somewhere near your current objective in that questline

Has it been confirmed or not if it is possible to pluck a gold star bean seed from within Elderwood or not?

My girlfriend is deadset on trying to complete the achievement for gold foragables without using a seed maker for the gold bean bag, but between the two of us we have months of plucking beans in there without finding one. We have gotten gold beans, but not gold seeds.

We've been told in-game that it is possible to find, but I think whoever said that was misinformed. I am beginning to think it's only possible to get gold seeds through the seed maker, but I would like to put the hunt to rest if possible. 🥲

That's the thing though, even when we are in a party and pick beans together that are growing from the base of trees, it feels like the bean itself is 'tied' to the loot table, but the probability of the seed is random.

Like, sometimes one of us doesn't get a seed when we pick. And over the past four months or so neither of us have gotten a starred seed, only starred beans. She's going crazy looking for the starred seed because she doesn't want to use a seed maker for some reason. 😂

there is an achievement for it, so it is possible, i remember looking for it too at the start of EW. You'll see it shine and that's when is possible

Everytime I've encountered a shining Batterfly Bean plant in Elderwood, it's given a starred Batterfly Bean.

But it has never given a starred seed. I really don't think it's possible to 'forage' a starred seed 😔

I just don't want her to keep wasting her time if it isn't possible; I've never seen 'proof' of it happening, it makes sense if it could, but I'm starting to doubt it's existence.

I finished the accomplishment by using a seed maker. She is refusing to. 😂

So, I don't know if this has happened with other people or not, but i just realized yesterday that my "paying respects" accomplishment isn't showing that I've done it 😅 . I have double checked to see if I have done all 15 shrines and I haven't missed not a one. So I put in a support ticket but the email I got from it kinda confused me. Maybe I don't understand very well but I uhh, made the ticket as a bug because in my mind it is a bug haha. So I don't know if I did it right or...what I just kinda wanted to see if I was the only one or not. I think those potions from city hall never worked since the update came to palia. I’m sure it worsens your luck at this point 🙃. Because I never gotten a legendary fish using anglers fish potion during the time frame, which is 3 hours. Sooo…I’m gonna stay away from those potions

I had some luck with the angler's potion catching unicorn fish in Bahari, but not much else. I didn't get maws. That said, I've caught 2-3 unicorn fish in one session without the potion too.

When Elderwood released, it was confirmed that gold star seeds are not found in the wild. I don't know if this was ever updated through patches since that time, but most players, if not all, would need to make the seeds at the seed makers to get the starred seeds.

These are player anecdotes and not confirmed. You're best bet will be to clarify with Support on what the expected actions of the Tincture is. It would be most helpful if you could do a before screenshot of your essence and an after screenshot of your essence while using the Tincture.

As for the Angler's Potion, this worked well for me personally. In 3 hours, I captured 12 Majiri o War and 5 Maws.

Then once you have the color you actually have to have materials like flowers and other stuff to make the dye.

They should have been right behind you in the cave once you picked up the treasure chest. You may need to reload your game, and go back to the sliding puzzle room where you picked up the chest.

Can't tell if it's just me, but do 2x2 crops seems to consume fertilizer way faster than the other layouts (1x1 and 3x3)? Also, I place fertilizer on crops that already have harvest boost (just to make it easier if I were to ever change the layout), but it seems like 2x2 crops that already have harvest boost from nearby crops seem to consume the fertilizer regardless. Am I deluding myself or is there actually something buggy going on?

Yes, seeds consume 1 fertilizer for each square they occupy, so the 2x2 bushes use 4 fertilizer each day and apple trees consume 9 each day. For the bigger seeds to get companion planting bonuses, they need more neighboring seeds to get the bonus. 2x2 seeds need 2 adjacent seeds giving the same bonus and 3x3 seeds need 2 adjacent seeds that grant the same bonus.

I know, it's just my issue is that the 2x2 crops seem to be consuming their HarvestBoost fertilizer despite having 2 HarvestBoost crops nearby. On the other hand, the 1x1 crops with a HarvestBoost crop near it doesn't consume the fertilizer.

As for the 2x2's consuming it faster than usual, that could just be me mistiming what I'm seeing with the numbers. Anecdotally though, I find myself replenishing the 2x2's more than the 3x3's for some strange reason. Like, let's say I login the next day, the 2x2 is completely empty while the 3x3 still has plenty left.

Hi, I figured out my Weekly Wants list for NPC weren't shown up even if I click the board of square. I asked my friend to check it and she had no issue about it. I asked her to send Weekly Wants list to me, but her list wasn't suit for me...so weird. Anyone have the same problem as me?

This is a known issue for some players regarding the use of the discover button on the board. You can send in a player support ticket to document your issue.

It's recommended that you don't interact with any NPCs until you hit the discover button at the beginning of the week at reset time. It seems people who interact with NPCs and/or gift them items before hitting the discover button on the bulletin board are having this issue.

It’s a Known Issue. Try quitting the game or switching servers, then go back.

This will likely require a client update/patch to be fully fixed. It's unlikely it will be individually fixed on your account through your ticket. S6 is aware of the issue, so hopefully we get a fix for it soon.

oh I do still recommend getting them for the future, you might only go for the fishing achievements there or hunting etc., where you don't really have a use for the full bag but would get much more use from the other items🤔 And it does give a nameplate and achievement (I think?) when you complete them all, along with more quests ofc

I also don't care about nameplates 😅 It's so much resources to make all the relics. I already have most of the elderwood achievements. The only infected gatherable I don't have is honey. And I really don't want to deal with special ammo and potions and stuff, so this is the relic for me lol.

Hey peeps, I'm curious how long it might have taken any of you to collect piksii shmole spores. It's my 3rd day grinding for it and it never spawns. It's the last item I need for the board and I'm starting to go a little insane 😭

It'll spawn, but you have to consistently be farming the other shmoles. It's an epic animal so it'll spawn occasionally versus regularly. If you're consistently farming the other shmoles in the area, you will get Piksii shmoles to come through as well.

Have you already gotten a Piksii Shmole spore before or no?

It's always been 4 requests that are on a timer once you claim them. I don't know how many hours exactly but they'll reset back to open/available after some hours have passed since the last claim.

And, if you're worried about starred versus unstarred items, you can check 'use starred items' on the recipe cue card and this will allow you to use both starred and unstarred produce.

I haven't seen other people reporting an error with the recipe accepting starred or unstarred. But in theory, checking the 'use starred produce' box on the cue card uses both starred AND unstarred. If/when the starred items run out, it pulls in unstarred of that item.

If you were making cakes and had 2 starred sweet leaf and 2 unstarred, checking the box would allow the 2 starred leaves to be used, and then it will use the 2 regular leaves.

It's essentially a "use starred ingredients first" command for the recipe.

If you don't have the unstarred items in your storage or backpack, (and say they're in the lockbox), the recipe would lock until you take the unstarred leaves out of the lockbox and into your storage.

On the flip side of that, in our example here -- if we did not check that "use starred ingredients" box, only the 2 unstarred leaves would be hard, and we would be locked out of that recipe because the starred items cannot be used since we didn't allow that permission

Is it even possible to keep farm animals happy if your not playing daily? I feel like I'm missing something, it takes a ton of food and I don't even have max numbers. I tend to play heavily but every couple days, and the farm has just been so taxing and I'm not even able to keep up with it, everything ages out of production with getting like maybe 2 collections.

Oh it's not bugged -- it's just saying since the recipe needs 4 sweet leaf, you have 2 starred sweet leaves. You can still start and do the recipe. The 2 starred leaves will be used on the first 2 sweet leaf mixing and then your regular (unstarred leaves) will be used for the 3rd and 4th mixing. You'll get the error message because the UI is prioritizing the 2 starred sweet leaves, but the recipe needs 4. It will read that you have 62 regular after you use the 2 starred.

When you expend the 2 starred leaves, the regular starred sweet leaves will be available to choose on the 3rd time you go to mix sweet leaf.

You should have been prompted to make a palia.com account when you downloaded palia from steam, unless you skipped making a palia.com account initially. To log into another device, you would need to have a palia.com account that your character is linked to in order to access that character on a different device.

If you play the same character on steam and switch, then you have a palia.com account.

When you changed your password, did you change your password to your email address, your console, or changed the account password on palia.com?

Hi everyone, I just finished the bundle board yesterday. I did not see any rewards come through and wondering if that is normal now that lunar path is in place. I finished all the weekly items too. Last month was my first bundle board I finished and I got the rewards right away. I even logged out and logged back in today. Not sure what to do!

The bundle board rewards are gotten at the completion of each bundle (Kilima coins and lunar XP) and then by opening the treasure chests at the top of the bundle board (string lights recipes).

If you've paid for the skip levels package for this Lunar Path, I don't think your Lunar XP you earn through dailies and the billentin is gathered and stored somewhere at this time.

If you'd like to hunt infected creatures with the bag of illusion relic, you'll need to get it upgraded to tier 4.

The bag of illusion relic is only needed to hunt infected creatures, so if the shmoles do not have the infected look to them, they can be hunted without any relics or potions.

Yeah so I can jump to the first one ok, and then if I get on top of the first horizontal wall I can run across but not climb across. And then can’t get across the slightly diagonal wall at all - keep falling off. you sometimes do, but it's rng. The point is to have multiple extra seeds from chopping trees all over the map, and then just keep a steady income of logs and seeds from your housing plot. Unfortunately though, that'd require a few days of setting up at least, so it's probably not going to work for you if you want it done now. So fastest for you is to just trust in rng and go chop trees

I’ve heard a few other players having this issue. Some people have said to make sure that you did not obtain from the Elderwoods as it doesn’t count toward dailies. If that doesn’t apply to your issue, I would suggest putting in a support ticket to ensure the support team is aware of the bug. Attach screenshots showing that the daily is incomplete and the amber in your inventory to show that it had been just obtained today, so they have all the information needed for the bug report. Until it’s fixed, you can use a reroll token if you have them to get another daily quest so you don’t miss out on any lunar XP.

I cannot guarantee this will work but you can try this solution to see if it solves the problem:

1. Login to the Palia Website and go to your account information.

2. Confirm your name/age/country details etc are correct and fill in the missing information and ensure it is saved.

3. Try logging back into your PS5 to see if the issue is resolved.

Okay, im having a crisis. I have been trying to get an eleroo eel for a couple of weeks now, but I CANNOT find one. Do I need to use buffs and stuff to get it or something? Cause I've fished in all the areas wiki gg says I'd find one.

Are you fishing at the correct timing cycle? If my memory serves me correctly, I believe these are an evening/night fish, so starting at/after 6pm.

Its a pita though because they take FOREVER to make.

Okay that's great! In case this is helpful, you can save your worms by letting the fish jump out of the water -- and if it is not the fish you'd like to get, you can let the fish swim away completely, pull your line in, and recast your line! This doesn't use any glow worms, so you're only reeling in the fish you're after.

And to confirm, you're fishing in any of these bodies of water circled in red?

If the fish that jumps up is not the eel, do not click the left mouse button (aka, reel in action). It will swim away if you don't hook it. Once you see it swim away completely (you'll see a shadow disappear under the water's surface), you can reel in your line and then recast.

That's it. Something Wicked is the end of main quests. The questline for the galdur pup is a guide quest and it ends with Home and Back Again. You might have a few other guide or found item quests available. Hard to say, but you've definitely finished main story if you got to Home and Back Again.

you can not take them from your storage anymore. you have to gather the items like you did. I was just asking if you were trying to pull from storage and that could have been the problem, but since you didn't then I am not sure. It may take a few seconds after you gather the item for it to register that you competed it.

You may have hit one that’s covered in infected essence. Items covered with infected essence can only be obtained when you progress through the main story and complete the related quests or you can be in a party with another player that has relics (items used to obtain essence). For now, you can find another Koppa Nut and collect that as long as it doesn’t have the purple aura around it. Also, in case you didn’t know, you can shoot down Koppa Nuts with arrows

I usually hit the nut with an arrow or bomb to drop the nut before chopping the tree down and that has never caused this to happen. Hope that helps

However -- the Kitsuu plushies are avaible through mining ores in all three adventure zones. It is a legendary drop, so hard to get, but is possible to get. As well as many players are trading them in the trading channel. You could potentially check there as well!

You are moving the safe zone (brackets) left to right with your mouse. The fish is moving the bobber. You need to keep the safe zone around the bobber. Everything else is decorative. Stop reeling in when the fish dances and the brackets turn red.

Lunar Paths are permanent! So they will always be around for you to work on. As more Lunar Paths are introduced in the future, we can choose which ones we want to focus on and level up.

Make sure youre reading it right. If it says "catch a blah blah" then tou HAVE to CATCH it. Not just bring it in. If its a gather one, you have to gather a new one, not just turn it in.

You will talk to and gift an NPC in the game until they reach Level 4 friendship -- then, once you complete their Level 4 friendship quest, you can ask them to be your Shepp in the game.

Yes! In the December update, we got introduced to the Lunar Path for the first time. The weeklies have been present for a very long time, as those help us earn guild coins to spend in the respective guild stores. Dailies are relatively new -- we've had these for only a few patches at this point in time.

I dont know if I needed to have more than one skill at level 10, but I haven't seen the skills on the town board before this week. I would just scroll through achievements.

Its been about a few weeks since I last played. That one eel quest kept bothering me, and im avoiding the hell out of my 3 guide quests.

You are correct! To get access to the weekly skills tasks, you have to be Level 10 in said skill. So if you have a few you aren't Level 10 in yet, you wouldn't have access to those skill's weeklies

idk if this is tech, or game help, I'm at the end (i think) of the prismbeard quest with Auni and Nai'o, called "The True Treasure".

I need to talk to Auni to finish this quest, but whenever I try, the dialogue menu bugs, and I'm basically soft locked from doing anything until I restart the game, because the dialogue doesn't play. I'm wondering if this is. Just a that spot issue? or if I go find Auni somewhere else, if it'll let me finish this dang quest

You have to got to Elderwood to collect the kopaa nuts, and you have to craft the ceramic b4 you can turn it in. They cannot come from your inv, unfortunately.
