I'm having trouble with the rootseeker medallions. I'm one short, but there are no chests where the wiki says I should find them, so I'm assuming I've found them all already. Does anyone have any idea what I might be missing?

If you're one Rootseeker Medallion short in Palia and can’t find a chest where the wiki says, there’s a good chance you already collected it, or it's one of the medallions tied to a quest or puzzle, not a chest. Some medallions come from completing specific Ruins puzzles or finishing key steps in the Vault of the Roots quests, not just from looting. A few chests also only appear after solving torch or statue puzzles or might be hidden in harder-to-reach areas. Also, one medallion is automatically placed when you unlock a Vault door, so check the altar or like your progress may already count that one. Lastly, make sure to check your inventory or storage in case it was moved accidentally.

If you only want LFMs, go to the pulsewater plains "bowl" (d7 I think) and do a honey lure there. It'll be night moths and LMFs mainly which is nice.

If you want all night bugs, you can go to other locations to get lantern bugs, snails, and LMFs at the same time

Weekly tasks are unlocked when you hit level 10 in your skills if I recall correctly

Thanks for your reply and suggestions! I double checked my inventory, storage, and lockbox and can't see any there. The wiki and all the guides I can find say that 1 medallion comes from Einar with the Vault of the Roots quest and the other 5 from five chests around Bahari, and I've finished the Vault of the Roots quest and I'm pretty sure have found those five chests. The bundle thing is sitting at 5/6 and I'm not able to contribute any more. I'm really a bit lost

What i did was get as many as i can during my daily run for the rummage pile. But if you have some time. Just collect, switch servers/server sync, collect more, rinse repeat and then open them once you come back to your plot. It took so long for me to get the pebble 😭😭😭

I collected 1000 oysters to open all at once and got it! It's best to jump collect everything like coral, shells, oysters to make them spawn faster. Work out a route back and forth. Bit of a grind but really not as bad as you'd think and at least you'll get the pebble. Good luck

i hear if you need it for a relic recipe (rather than for a quest) then you can request one through the relic crafter UI. other than that, it's RNG, just have to keep opening elder clam mushrooms until you get one

Just patience lol.... sadly its RNG so you just gotta keep opening it. The drop rate is similar to green pearl, some says but i feel like its a bit lower than that

judging by my experience and the stats i've seen others give, i think the black pearl drop rate is around 0.2-0.4%. definitely rarer than green pearls. though imo elder clam mushrooms are easier to get in bulk than oysters. better not to grind for them but just always pick them up when you're in elderwood doing other stuff

The best thing you can do is screenshot your papa chapa server score where it shows the number of balloons popped on the server and if it's over 1,000 balloons and you don't see that number, move up for you. You can send in a bug report

The drop rate is pretty low, even rarer than green pearl. So you gotta be either lucky or have patience with it unfortunately.... its better to just get the clams while you're doing other things in EW (ogo or shmole hunt) imo

This is the courier pet feature. Go to collections, pet section and equip your platinum Galdur pup and now you can send items home while you're out adventuring.

There is no deleting these slots/plots in the game, really. You simply switch between plots and each plot is a blank canvas for you to decorate on. A new slot means you opened a new plot to use/decorate. The new plot+ is to buy a new plot (slot) to decorate.

Writs are used to expand the locked squares on your plot, so you can have the full grid to use/decorate on.

Make sure you're using the right bait, in the right area, at the right time cycles. Try at the top of the time cycle. It's simply RNG if they spawn or not.

If you're ready to purchase another plot, yes you can. If you want to switch between your existing plots, go to either of your "new slots," which are two separate plots you also own.

What may help is when you enter your overhead menu (H on PC), and see your plot drop down at the top screen, there's a gear icon to the right I believe. You can click that, and rename those slots. This way, you can keep track that you already own these.

@gritty niche when you start palia, you get three plots. Default and two others. They used to be more related but now the only issue is if you cut down trees on your default home plot the tree disappears on the subsequent new plots.

of course any tools you put on the other plots counts against your total allowed tools, but won't count against your maximum allowed decor items that's separate for each plot

If you go to the farthest east you can inside the flooded fortress you'll see an entrance to a temple.

I would check which quest you have started and review the next steps they want you to do in each of those to see if this might be part of one of those quests

FWIW a few characters have negative dialogue lines if you're romancing certain others, regardless of what pins you're wearing. but there aren't any actual consequences to dating multiples or everyone

hunting sernuks doesn't make the proudhorn spawn - there is always 1 proudhorn on the server and it respawns almost as soon as it's killed. the best way to find one is to use a hunter's horn (recipe from hassian's guild store at hunting level 8) or hunt with someone who is using one

@rich garden you can catch rainbow trout in any River in kilima using no bait. It's not automatic so you have to keep fishing for a bit. But they're not that rare.

You only need to hit each balloon once to get credit for it! Find a nice spot where you can rotate around and see many balloons. Prioritize the blue balloons as they are worth 30 points. It's not about damage on the balloons per se because there are so many people hitting them, just that you get a hit on the balloon to get the total point.

When you notice the event begins but no scoreboard, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY and re-enter as fast as you can. If you're quick, you'll be the only one catching chapaa until others catch on and reload the zone also. I caught 30+ like this

well, 8 chests to access the same storage, but the storage limit increases when you have more chests

Few things you can try:

1. Wait it out eventually she'll disappear and Kenyatta will appear instead

2. Spam leaving and coming back to your home

3. Have an NPC comes to your plot via a quest like hodari wedding gift quest it'll kick her out. If she comes back just leave immediately and then come back to your home Kenyatta will appear.

4. This one I've recently heard: If there are characters you haven't gifted anything to meaning since the beginning gift them items and they'll come to your plot. About 2-3 will kickstart Kenyatta appearing.

The third and fourth option has been the most successful.

As always because this a bug these workarounds may not work 100%

Unfortunately not. The Xbox chat filters are system-level so you can't do anything about it.

Every ore node in Bahari Bay has a chance of being iron, so you'll just have to make a circuit. The mines may have a greater density of ore nodes, so try there, including the entrance tunnels.

@floral atlas I would start on the south side of bahari heading down toward the coast then go across to the north side. all of this next to the cliffs of course. I would follow the cliffs all the way around until you get to the flooded fortress again then I would go to the south side of the flooded fortress there's usually a lot of iron there
