Any activity does brings in money. The most effective is still cooking parties. Bug hunting parties is also quite effective. But the non parties that generate a nice amount of coins for me personally are gardening and hunting (especially with preserves, seed maker)

Its essentially just where people can sign up for parties. You can filter out what kind of party you're looking for and see when the party will be held. Pick which one you want and sign up for what step you want to do (for cooking parties)

timing it won't work. i don't think there's really an established etiquette for those but nobody seems to mind about the tiny ones as they don't give much wood anyway. i think a lot of endgame players leave them for other people who need the wood more, or for people with a fine axe who won't break them in one hit

judging by the fact everyone seems to have a different spot they think works best, i don't think there's any particular spot that works better than others. anywhere in maji's hollow should work, just be aware you might have to use quite a few lures to get a starred one to spawn

For the homestead, for having a hallway with rooms off it, I strung four hallways together, made one side of each - on the same side - a wall, but I can't add in rooms off the side. If I want to have a hallway with rooms off the side, do I fudge it with using a room instead of the hallway, and then put the rooms off that?

yeah that's the RNG for you. i can only suggest to keep trying. some people say it helps to clear out all the butterflies before you put the lure down at 3am

yeah you'll hear a big ominous sound and then people in chat usually say the coordinates of the groves. when you go make sure to chop each tree one time to make sure you get the loot from it and then once 3am hits everyone goes crazy on the trees

That doesn’t happen that often to me. Usually correlates to unexpected server load for them or rain making my internet slower than normal. You can do network/ connection checks to make sure it is not on your end. But I don’t really suspect that is the issue.

i chalked it up to some update error or time zone issue cause as little as ive played, a multi minute load window with no reason is odd. just had to reboot game. frankly my biggest sigh is (usually trying to upgrade buildings) the slide bar screen.. im on PC and i use controller for comfort and i have to wiggle my mouse to get it to confirm the item input? like its just greyed out for me. vaguely recall one or two other consistent times i need to reach for mouse and keyboard to make the confirmations playable but its been a sec since i played

Heyyyy! I got a switch 2 and decided to download palia to start playing again since there's been many updates and such. HOWEVER, the game looks freaking terrible and I'm sure that it's bc of settings. I remembered that we can config graphic settings from the menu, but now all I see under graphic sets is the ability to change gamma brigtness, nothing else. What do i doooo???

Sadly nothing cause consol do not got graphic settings but pc does. I played it a bit too on switch 1 and 2 and the only thing switch 2 is doing better then switch 1 is faster loading all others are equal.

After I spent my renown to unlock more of my plot land (I think that's what i did), then I just spend all of my renown that I get. I don't know if there's a best way or not, but I'm arond +70% and around 725 total. I'm focusing now on trying to boost up my total focus to get up to 1000.

Sadly it's RNG so there's no way to know. You could open 200 and still never find the pebble or you could get lucky and get the pebble on your first try. This happened to me and friend with the black pearl you get from the Elder Clam Mushrooms. He's been through hundreds of mushrooms trying to get that pearl and I got it randomly after like picking five of them.

It was a bug they fixed. You can have 8 each on all your plots, you just don’t get extra storage for all the dups

With the Elderwood update the multi plot chests got bugged and you couldn’t put down more than 8 across all plots

I double checked the patch notes when they asked the question cause I wasn’t sure it was fixed

It should. But that is a feature I have never used so don’t know any caveats with it. I believe that feature started as a bug that did get you more than max storage lol

U have to pick them up, craft and place back down but you won’t lose items if you’re over storage you just won’t be able to put anything else in

I just have a question about the steps taken when cooking.
Do you have to do them in the order they're thrown at you or can you pick the next step to do?
I've failed at making Muujin Bahari 3 or 4 times now because, after doing all the chopping, the mixing, the stove top cooking, I return to the prep station and I get the option to make Rolled Dough and then to make Unbaked Muujin Bahari. I never get the option to make Rolled Dough with Duxelles.
I just need help. If there isn't a workaround then I'll just have to come to terms with never cooking this dish.

I had the Tish glitch too. It ended up fixing itself for me after I did a quest for Kenyatta. Then Tish came with Kenyatta for something (I don't want to spoil anything) and they both left and it cleared the visitor icon. @dusk trellis No guarentee this will work for everyone of course. Just what happened to fix it for me.

just a theory but probably because it would produce too many worms and fertilizer, which wouldn't fit in the worm farm's output slots.

according to the fertilizer outcomes spreadsheet, starred void ray grilled fish in worm farm = 333 worms + 333 fert = 8 slots needed

but you can put in glow worm farm because it would only need 5 slots of space (66 glow worms + 333 fert)

it is like with the elderwood items which give you a buff. You have to go to the menu where you can equip the love interest badges, elderwood buffs and so on. There is also a little circle for quest items. if you klick it you can equip the spyglass

However, the past couple of days his game has started to act up. He has to almost spam 'F' to collect anything he mines. We changed graphic settings from epic to medium(like mine) and we are running off the same network. His is wifi but I am connected with ethernet. BUT before these few days the game was working completely fine for him.

Form a party with friends/others all equipped with different maxed relics (brighteye, bag of illusions and lantern, idol isn't really needed) and run lures is my preferred method for fast essence, running 2 at a time on the cliffside at A4 or one lure on both of the 2 cliffsides at C6.

Hey, I have a question about second plots. Like I can switch between them when I purchase one? And I won‘t lose anything on my first plot, am I right?
I‘ve seen a video where someone said he will lose something when he’s using a second lot, but he made a pathway with builder blocks all oder the pond on the plot so outside of the playable area. Think this would be the problem there but just to be sure I ask here ♡

The only thing that will affect a previously decorated plot is if you built out of bounds and purchase a plot skin from the premium shop and use it.
Then it will remove anything that was out of bounds on that plot.
For example: I built a pier out of bounds and it was removed completely when I used the plot skin.

yes, you can switch between plots. you won't lose anything on any plot. the only stuff that you'll "lose" is anything that you built out of bounds, those usually will appear at the front of the plot though, so you don't actually lose them.

from rummage piles at least. you can also buy mystery bags with essence. or ask on chat, usually someone is giving away/trading artifacts. but you can also just grab the two a day and then focus on everything else there is to do. farm, decorate, bundles, challenges, relationships, etc

oh completing bundles in Night Sky Temple is what I meant. If you haven't encountered that yet, just continue with the other quest lines, which give plenty to do while you collect those artifacts

Sure, you don't actually need to focus on Elderwood artifacts until you finish all that (though it's fine if you're just trying to collect as much as possible for now). no need to rush anything really, you'll reach each one eventually. if you get bored or need a break from all that you can also work on NPC friendships or decor too

Depends what it is. For example I built a pier out of bounds and once the plot skin was used it was all removed.

If you just want your old character deleted and use the same previous email you'll have to put in a support ticket.

Support tickets are taking about 3-4 weeks. But if you reply to the ticket after creating them you tend to get a faster response as it flags them to look at it

flow trees spawn in bahari bay, the most consistent way is to wait until 12am in game time, where a grove spawns

groves basically spawns alot of flow trees for you to cut, the common etiquette is to call it out and wait until 3am in game time to give everyone time to reach it and to have as much people gather flow wood at once

they are the trees with purple aura radiating on them, you can also tell by them regenerating hp if you try to chop it, you're meant to chop them with more than 1 person as a result of this

I’m on the PlayStation and wondering if I’m fishing wrong. I see people closer to the bank, pond or the circular area in the underground fishing. My only option is to move myself physically so far away to get to the ripples because there’s no way to angle or move my fishing rod when I’m closer. Is it a PlayStation issue or am I doing something wrong with my settings? It’s so strange having to walk far away just to get a ripple and not being able to move my camera at all. Okay, so... I'm completely lost on Hexomancy 101. Tamala said talk to Elouisa and craft a relic. I finally figured out I had to buy a schematic, which I did, and then Elouisa told me to get an Enchanted Runestone and come back to her. So I did. The game auto ends on turn 15 iirc. Even if no winner. Everyone gets one coin. So the goal is to get to that point as quick as possible. No looking at cards, just spam the button. On controller it is same button that reactive the table so you never have to look at screen while spamming

The artifacts? You can dig up 2 daily as long as you have fine tool. The game does the tutorial for it by giving you ‘Umbria thing’ it kinda looks like a bottle opener. It should tell you what to do when you get it.

If you mean the ones in the village you unlock each one by doing the sliding block puzzles in the temples.

Looking for tips on trying to find the elusive Rainbow tipped butterfly and the Gossamer moth. They are the only two bugs I need for completing the temple bundle, but they seem to be evading me. Guys can someone actually confirm or deny for me? I swore I thought the RTB only spawned once every real life hour but I was watching a stream and I swear this streamer caught two. Was I seeing things or does more than one spawn an hour and I’ve been wrong?

Yes more than one can spawn at any time. Their spawn time is 3am to 6pm, but usually they spawn at the top of the time cycle.

It is most common for one or two to spawn naturally. But if it's an empty server, and people aren't running wild and spooking everything, multiple can spawn easily. The max I ever caught naturally, no lures, was 4 RTBs spawned naturally.

AFAIK!! Unless you're hunting it specifically like with lures, theres usually only 1 RTB per server. But once you caught them, there will be a chance for them to spawn again as long as its within their spawn time (3a-6pm)

The RTB hunting that some people do, sometimes they could find multiple like 4 or 5 RTB. But it takes quite a lot of people and lures ngl

You can definitely have more than 1 per server, that limit doesn't exist

It's just a matter of RNG, is the RNG going to spawn more than 1 per server and are there enough open spawn slots for the RTB. Aka, are the blue butterflies cleared out

Oh yeah, that's the most common spawn amount and they spook so easily, the vast majority of them get scared away.

Okay, this is likely your issue because you technically do not have the required items to complete the quest. You can reach out to support and ask for the pickles to be sent to you, now that you have confirmed this to be the issue.

I fished up the fish stew recipe in bahari bay. When I got home to cook it, it was gone. It's not in any inventory and it doesn't show up as an option at any cooking station. Is it possible to get the recipe again by fishing?

The one with Tish, she’s bugged on my plot and I can’t speak to her no matter what. I tried restarting the game, my console, and leaving my plot then coming back. The one with tau I can’t see his paw prints to track them, and then the jel and Zeki one just won’t progress at all. I also play on switch. I know there’s not much to be done here, I already submitted a bug report on the website but I wanted to see if this was a common issue and if anyone had maybe found any solutions

it's hard to say, most tickets with the backlog were averaging 3 to 4 weeks. some tickets were being answered sooner than that, but also longer than that. i am not sure how account tickets were quickly being processed.

So Tish -- you gave the black pearl causing tish to come instead. she will leave on her own eventually, but there are some player workarounds that may work. you could try rapidly changing servers or starting another quest for an NPC to visit to kick her out. otherwise she will leave on her own or wait for a fix from s6.

Tau -- the treasure pile isn't too far from the start, it looks like an EW treasure pile and is between some rocks, probably 50m or so away.

Jel -- where are you stuck? you have to read the book in his shop, get some pumpkins, and give them to reth.

Zeki -- where are you stuck?

You could also try using the palia tracker website! It’s been a life saver for me. It lists all bugs and fish, and I think plants as well? Tells you where and what time they’re available to catch

hey peeps. im doing the It Takes a Village - Caleri quest rn. I accidently activated the Flow Gate too early and im now stuck. How does one fix that?

Its the exit Flow Gate at the top of the wind thing. right in the middle near the nest with the 10 eggs

I think I'm stuck? I need to collect 5 infected fish. I have 2, but ran out of the fishing attachment Einor gave me and he's not selling them. So I have no idea how to finish this quest.
