This is only bugged if you link your game to Steam. If your account is not linked to Steam, you can unlcok it with no problems. (just tested with my alt account from the switch and got the ingame achievement.) Been trying with my main for weeks now. Tried from Steam, Palia launcher, Switch and Playstation. Read every tablet like 50 times so far. No luck 😦 And i assume you get the Steam achievement instantly if you unlock it in game (kind-a like every other, that instantly unlocked the first time I launched Steam game)

Hey! I could use a little help with a cooking issue.
I'm trying to make Fish Tacos — I’ve made them before, and I have everything I need, including a bunch of fish in my storage. But when I go to cook, the game doesn't seem to recognize any of my fish as valid for making Fish Fillets.

I don’t see Fish Fillet as an option at the Prep Station either, so I’m wondering if it’s something I’m forgetting, or if this might be a bug. Has anyone else run into this?

I'm just coming back to my account after a long period of inactivity so it might just be me as I'm trying to get back into the swing of things

it's been a long time since i played on the launcher but the performance on steam is just the same as it was on the standalone launcher as far as i remember. aside from your steam account being permanently linked there aren't really any differences between the two game versions. i like playing on steam better though, steam's download servers are better for example.

Check the box marked Use Quality Ingredients. Maybe all your fish are starred. If that doesn’t work, put all your cooking stations in your back pack to reset them.

A work around for this currently is going to home plot, unequiping and reequiping the pet.

I’ve had this issue too since I got the founders pack which I find dumb cause we had to pay for it… but what I do is go back to my plot then back to EW and it usually fixes it or try ‘unstuck’ yourself that might work also

Yes. Checking the "Use Quality Ingredients" Box prioritizes using starred ingredients, but will use unstarred if that's all you have. Leaving it unchecked means you can't use starred ingredients.

If you wish to start a romanceable relationship with Villagers, you can either gift them Heartdrop Lilies from foraging in Bahari, or purchasing a Box of Chocolates from the General Store for 200 Gold.

You need to be Level 3 friendship before you are able to gift them a Heartdrop Lily or Box of Chocolates to start romancing. However you need to be Level 4 friendship to start romancing Subira.

Yes. The Villagers' friendship level will increase whenever you give them a daily gift.

Gifting them one of their Weekly Wants (two Likes and two Loves) will give you a little more than a typical gift. If you would like to know what Villagers like as gifts, I recommend looking at their Gifting section on their page on the Palia Wiki. There is also a page that shows all the villagers' Weekly Wants that gets updated every week.

I did this yesterday and got 10 ,one was even infected. Finished by infected gatherer achievement. Look everywhere in this area and pick everything. Forces a respawn. Hope this helps.

Leather is made from 1x Sernuk Hide - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 100 Gold.
Fabric is made from 2x Cotton - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 2 for 50 Gold.
Silk is made from 5x Silk Thread - Recipe unlocked at Furniture Making Level 6 for 1,500 Gold.

Has anyone else had issues with Daily Gift resets not happening? Yesterday during the afternoon (PST) I gave gifts to Tamala, Kenyatta, and Tish. Reset was supposed to happen (9pm my time) and was able to give box of chocolates to Tish to start her Romance stuff afterwards. But today Kenyatta is still checked off for Daily Gift in the Relationship menu and grayed out for gift giving despite me last giving her a gift well before the gift reset (approx 6pm my time).

You should have used your already placed copper chest as a crafting material to upgrade it to iron chest. Take one copper chest that you placed on your plot, then craft an iron chest using that copper chest. This is how you do it when upgrading to an iron chest

You don’t have to actually craft more than 8 copper chests. If you have all 8 chests down, and 2 iron chests, that means you crafted more than 8 chests which is completely unnecessary. Keep using your same old copper chests to upgrade to iron.

Unfortunately there's no quick way to track them since they are uncommon and special spawn locations, The best I can give is to check every tree especially those high and desolate up the cliffs sometimes they can be easy to miss and listen to their sound effect. And server hoping

Switch maps or log out. That usually fixes changing to the default character. If you used a wardrobe already or logging out doesn't change you back, visit the giant mirror in Jel's Tailor Shop. It allows you to change your appearance once a week. Weekly reset is in 7 hours.

do that. you need to do his whole quest of going to najuma after and gather up materials before you can craft the stuff needed to catch insects (though they give you 20 of the bombs you need also)

It means you can't change the plot you've chosen to display for the week, so once you select a plot, that plot is locked in for the week.

Gems aren't tradeable, and all gems are RNG drop. Just keep mining, you'll get one eventually. Emerald drops from copper ores.

Theoretically you can't, but it's always good to troubleshoot from start to finish. Double check you have the right starter pack from the Blacksmith, and then double-check the wiki page I sent to see if you have any of those items in your crafted recipes page on your work table/what you're missing.

The items you're missing can only be crafted from inspo. So once you've for sure confirmed you have the necessary starter pack, and that you've crafted everything BUT those three items AND you're getting no further inspo bubbles from crafting any of the builder items, then you know you may need to submit a support ticket for a potential bug.

The courier pet function + free pet will be available for all next patch update, BUT if you would like it now, you have to purchase the Founder's Pack to access it now. The pack comes with 8 outfits, 3400 Palia coins to spend, a pet + courier function, and a set of toolskins.

Folks who have founders pack now will get an additional 4 slots at the patch update later this month.

As a note, you can only move entire garden tiles. You cannot move smalls sections of that garden tile.

Okay got it. Yes, the tilled section will disappear since you've removed the crop! I can't remember the exact amount of time it will take, but it will disappear so you will be able to put the garden tile in your inventory for transport to the different plot soon.

And no, it's an in-mail notification -- the starter pack coins will show up in your Palia coin balance which can be viewed when you're on your inventory screen in the top bar across the top of your screen. They are white and blue coins. The outfit will be in your wardrobe.

For future, it would be best to make any purchases in the in-game store... Not as DLC. This seems to help avoid the issues.

You can't gift any premium content to anyone else except the mystery gift options at this time.

If you would like to "gift" someone the starter pack though, you can always give them the dollar amount needed for their Steam wallet. They then can personally go to their in-game store and make a purchase their with their steam wallet balance.

4. you can place your storage chests across plots (i.e., one on each plot for easy access). It doesn't change or increase your storage. Your storage is based on what level of storage you have created (i.e., iron chests = 10k items)

it's one palia account per steam account so if you want alts you need to use a different steam account (or use the standalone launcher, which prompts you to log in every time you open the game). if you want to unlink your current palia account from your steam account then you need to contact support asking them to do it for you
