I did try hosting an open server cooking party last week though! Set my house to open to all and cooked chili oil dumplings after telling ppl they're invited to come over and join, then leave if they wish it was a lot of fun seeing random people spawn in

When the picture is taken in camera mode, you'll see the names and prompts, but they should save without the floating names and prompts

And then to find the screenshots taken, you can press "Windows Key+R" and then paste %localappdata%\Palia\Saved\Screenshots\WindowsClient and that should be the folder they go to

I usually pin the folder so I can find my screenshots pretty easy

No prob!! I do notice that the grid in H mode/house editing mode does show up when taking screenshots though, so just know that that's a thing to turn off if you ever take pics on your house plot

I just got the giant Kilima stingray yesterday after trying for a couple weeks. Found it near Einar’s dock area. But not on the dock. To the left side there’s a boat and a large tree. I stood to the left of the large tree. That’s where I found and lost one and finally caught the only other I’ve seen.

I don’t recall where I found the flametongue. But that was easier to get.

They're just epic fish, so it can take a long time. If you are fishing in the right bodies of water at the right time of day with the right bait then the only thing to say is keep trying. There aren't special locations.

Could someone clarify honey lures for me? I'm having a conversation with someone who says everyone participating in the honey lure gets to collect all the loot whether they hit the bug or not. I believe you have to get a hit on a bug to collect and you don't collect other people's bugs too. Is either correct or is it something else?

you will get participation by throwing bug bombs, you still have to either hit a bug or hit near it for you to be considered participating for every bug

no one is going to like, get every single obtained bug from everyone just by being nearby or anything

Nope, you have to upgrade your storage. There's recipes at Tish's in Kilima town center.

Eventually you'll have up to 10k space available

There's the makeshift storage, copper storage and then iron storage, I believe. And Lockboxes.

Personally I've witnessed bugs vanishing in front of me during a honey lure because I failed to use my bombs in time, so already I know I can't get every bug in a lure party just standing around

But I have gotten bugs while failing to hit it by a fraction

If someone else is near me for rare bugs I hold off or go slow so they get a chance. If the bomb hits near the bug I believe that will count, but it won't if the bug is currently under the effect of someone else's bomb.

So it's hard to engineer near misses a lot of the time.

It gives you a new plot on top of your current one. So it's like what you have, but completely empty. You can use it to put down furniture/fish/bugs, build housing things, or try out designs. They don't have a lot of purely practical uses since you can't use them to add more storage, crafters, or farm plots.

You can toggle between your different plots in a drop down menu in the housing menu

It's also not consistent, some days everything looks normal, another day the invis is back. It seemed to start back during the Luna festival when I couldn't see the chapaas in player's hands

This isn’t a a big issue for me, it’s just slightly annoying lol, but what’s the deal with asking the villagers what their weekly wants are? Like for Ashura, I haven’t been told any of his weekly wants yet, but for some of the other villagers I already know all 4 things they want. I know Reth tells us what Ashura wants a lot of the time but for it to be Wednesday and I still don’t know a single one of Ashura’s wants is bugging me a bit, and this happens so often. It’s not just Ashura, it’s also Delaila. I just wanna know why it’s this way. I’ve passed it off as just Ashura and Delaila’a personalities coming through and not wanting to bother us with their wants and needs 😂😭 but that’s all I can think of lol. I love giving daily gifts to all the villagers, I just wish their wants were communicated more consistently and evenly

you get some of the best game rewards for completing them. One ||being the magic fox on a statue that leaves you a random loot bag every hour - sometimes with 1-3 gold ore in it, which can help make honey lures - it's very worth completing||

bug jars are relatively easy to make, just make a list of when and where the bugs you need are found and pop a bug jar and honey lure in that location at that time. It might speed up the process

I'm noticing people in server chats saying that flow groves get chopped at 3 and that it's a widely known thing. Even when people are saying they're otw groves are being chapped at 3 because "that's when groves get chopped"
When I 1st started playing that's not how it worked so I'm confused where people are getting that from

its just a thing that has established itself by the community, its mainly to respect other players time so players have enough time to arrive at the grove and players already at the grove don't wait 15 mins
~2 ingame hrs are enough to get to the grove by far

of course if the grove is found very late it would be nice to wait longer, but in most cases the grove is found almost directly after 12am or around 1am

I've never had to wait past 4 ish for people to show up. And the reality is that's only 4 minutes at most....
Calling the grove and then chopping 6 seconds later is more of a waste of time for others than just waiting

If you get Badruu up to lvl 3 friendship and do the quest you should get blueberry seeds as a reward. I believe you get an apple seed with another npc as well as a friendship lvl reward.

These are the bellflower curtains! Sometimes they sell in Tish's shop (for I think around 8k?), but you can craft them once you get the bellflower recipes and find it through inspiration. 🙂

they have to be attached to the main house on your lot

you can't place extra rooms independently, try hovering them next to your main house and they'll 'snap' onto it

Hello! Is there a particular reason for interaction button not able to unbound? Sadly, my F button is not working, but when I started playing I just set main interaction to Tab button and there was no problems, but since some updates its no longer works for crafting and cooking, so I can't play normally.

no it’s a recent bug from what i’ve been hearing , you can report and take a pic/video if needed but try the other things because sometimes they go back to working, even leaving the plot and going back or relaunching helps sometimes

oh you don't need to hit the carrot recipe, you just need to navigate to your inventory or your storage and move the carrots into the machine

do try picking up the machine into your bag and then placing it back down and seeing if that resets anything, I heard this can happen when you've been away from Palia for a long time

As for the chappas, you find the first chappa in kilima/bahari, the elder (spotted? I'm not sure actually) in bahari, and the white chappa only in south bahari

The spotted chapaa is the light brown. The striped chapaa is darker, and is more common in Bahari than Kilima. The azure chapaa I have only seen in south Bahari. Remember to use the magic dispelling arrows when shooting it.

I didn't have any issue finding that one, but rather with the smooth shiny pebble finally dropping after hundreds... of oysters
But idk if there's any issues with it now or not? Maybe someone else can help answer that part.
But I can say there is no way of currently checking to see which ones have been gifted already or not.

Hey y’all! Has anyone else been experiencing this “underwater” feeling while they play? Like when I try to move forward, it takes a while for me to go. Sometimes it won’t let me jump, glide or sprint. Even typing in the chats, it won’t let me type certain letters. flare arrows are from hassian's guild store, i think it's level 4 hunting.

tbh what people consider correct etiquette varies depending on the person. the general etiquette has also changed over time due to changes to game mechanics, but some people don't know about the changes or prefer the old etiquette. usually the issue is just people are struggling to get rare resources so they get mad if they think people are not sharing.

but basically, the general current etiquette is this: it's fine to take everything yourself except for flow groves (the group of flow trees which spawns at midnight) which you should try to share. it is polite to flare and call out palium, other flow trees and rare forageables if you found them first, but it's not necessary if you can't or really don't want to. if someone else found them let them take the lead.

it wont affect it, the bait trick only shows you what fish you had lured (but avoid catching it). it's up to you whether you want to catch all fish or not, it won't affect your chances. Imo, if you're going to spend a lot of time fishing, you might as well get paid for it. You can pull in a lot of money if you catch the fish

There is also lockbox recipe that Tish sells which will give you an additonal 300 storage. When you are ready, you can purchase that as well. You can put things in those you don't want to be used during cooking/crafting/or have saved for quests

Just had a bad experience with the grove. My friend discoverd it, announced it and waited for the people who said "omw". Meanwhile a duo arrives and they are chopping all the trees. Even when we were shouting "Stop". So, I assume some people never read the chat, just are in audio connection via whatever, and ignore the rest of us. Shame. Or they don't know that you can hit it once and wait for the rest. Shame again. Dissapointed man atm. 😟

or people are new and on switch, find chat hard to read and dont know how flow trees work

If you cook again when you receive the item itll show you in the top left where your focus bar is, or if you go into them menu, then inventory, you can move over to skills and its the yellow circle around the skill that shows progress. To get cooked meat recipe you need to complete cooking 101 quest which reth should have given you

Your lot items do not respawn, musbrooms, rocks, and trees whats there is there. You can explore the kilima map for more mushrooms and northern bahari map too. Zeki also sells them for 16g each

Just to note mushrooms only spawn in the eastern side of kilima never knew this and struggled finding mushrooms

But north bahari has much more mushrooms, you can get there instantly going to the back of your plot and through the mine shaft

I've experienced a weird bug. I was at my shipping bin to sell some stuff and I suddenly fell through the floor, found myself high in the sky still falling and landed at the same place where the bug happened. Has anyone seen this ?
