to visit a friend's house, if you have both completed the tutorial, go home and talk to the blue sign. They have to be home at the same time, and you can't build there or anything, but can water their crops, chop trees, etc. if they give you the technical permission to do so and you can cook together (and get the full food from it).

Any displaced items go in your inventory. You can't set a room off on its own. I tried for the same reason. It has to be attached somewhere and items on the wall for example, end up in your inventory when the game ads the doors or windows.

Almost all the furniture you see in the Furniture store can be made yourself. You discover patterns as you make furniture. You can only buy an item one at a time. If you want a second, you wait until the shop has another in stock.

Definitely don't worry about upgrading your house. Just use tents if you don't care about the house much. Or build all your crafting stuff out in the open. No harm done in any of those scenarios

Gazebo is for housing slots! You can obtain these by going to your house and clicking on the H menu. There is a dropdown at the top to purchase more housing slots- you'll have to buy three of these for 50k, 75k, and 100k respectively. Then, after that, you go to the townhall and buy a gazebo blueprint, take it home, then throw resources in to make it. This counts as a room.

I can get three down, but no matter what I do, the fourth refuses to go in. and the room spot diagonal from the main house refuses to connect to any large rooms.
I can connect a hallway+large room to it, but not a regular large room. there's nothing in the area to stop it either—I cut down some bushes and rocks I wanted to keep to make room before realizing that they weren't the problem too :(

Honestly when I 1st started, a lot of people were still under the impression the trees were fixed locations. I just started solo deforesting, calling out the trees i was spawning and I would just tell people what I was doing while waiting for them to arrive. 9/10 times you end up with most of the server helping deforest to make it faster.

Gazebo requires you buy 3 more housing plots. At home press H then you buy the plots total price of 225k then you can by the gazebo

So I saw someone on the ropes in front of the lighthouse. When I asked them how they got up there, they didn't answer. Any idea how they got up there? I've been trying to figure out if there was a way to climb the outside of the lighthouse since it looks like that was the idea at some point.

You can only give their weekly wants once. But if you’ve covered those there are other gif they will take. They can be found on the wiki

you can always do a rotation, harvest everything until it's empty, then shove all cotton + rice/wheat, then back to toms/tates/etc

Ahh, then those taters would be amazing. Since you'd need the tomatoes to benefit from them without fertilizer.
