Am I the only Palia player who really doesn't understand all the Tamala hate?

Tamala is a flirt., it's clearly part of her personality, and it's clear that she enjoys solitude. Her and Hassian spent a night together, clearly had some sort of relationship for a bit, and he wanted to get married. Tamala wasn't ready for that, so she ended things and let him go so that he could find someone who could give him the sort of relationship he wanted.

I keep seeing people saying she "led him on" and that she did "horrible things" to him and that she's cruel, when all she did was let him go when he wanted more, which is the softest and most healthy thing she possibly could have done.

Hassian is consistently rude throughout his entire friendship with the player, all the way through to level 4, and only becomes kind once you romance him. He is a grown man who chose to spend a night with Tamala, who chose to be with a flirty woman who enjoys her solitude, and then became bitter and badmouths her just because he wanted more when she wasn't ready

I do not understand the hate for her, and it isn't even because of the tough quests she gives, it's always related to Hassian or her personality. She's one of the only NPC's who has absolutely no family or friends around her, and is someone all the other NPC's are scared of and never visit even when they can't even remember her name or have never even had a conversation with her. Of course she doesn't open up easily and it's clear she has a backstory that hasn't been shared yet. I'm sort of sick of seeing people treat Hassian like some little harmed boy and seeing Tamala as the mean old witch. She's really does become a softy once you gain her trust, even throughout your friendship with her. But to me, Hassian is just a rude bitter man who is only kind to people who once they romance him

at lvl3 friendship, you'll receive the key to the npc's room and you don't need to give them chocolates to continue. relationship/friendship levels doesn't decay. just give them whichever liked/loved gift they want each week to progress the relationship until max.

hey guys, fun fact: one of the most evil things that are not against the rules that you can do in Palia is go to elderwood, say "large platinum node [location], (the most obscure instructions to get to the exact location that you can think of)" and when players get there, they will search for a few minutes and say they can't find it. tell them that it probably despawned (ores can despawn, it happened to me while I was trying to write the location of a gold node in chat). THE NODE WAS NEVER THERE. also, please do not do that, I am just telling a theoretical idea that shouldn't actually be done, just because you can do something unethical doesn't mean you should.

However when I go to water them, and I see the flowers blooming, when I complete watering a given bush the flowers go away and I need to immediately water it again. This happens a lot. I would say dont keep the antlers and tails as in you can get them easily, scales on the other hand... I hate hunting ogopuus so I just always keep some.
I keep flow wood and flow planks inside sawmills too, using them as extra storage space, you never have enough!

No one can give you starred stuff, sadly, you just have to keep hunting. If you can party up with someone and hunt chapaa in bahari I think the higher level chapaa have a higher chance of dropping starred.

But at the level where you need the starred chapaa for a quest, all you can really do on your own is just wipe out all the chapaa in Kilima a few times and you will get it!

I have a hard time with those very jumpy fish because I play on PC and have to use the mouse. I have a never ending blister on my wrist from dragging it across my desk. The ones playing on the controllers have a slight edge when it comes to fishing. I have also been playing around with the game settings for camera motion and fish casting speed to help calm it down a little.

Thing is, it's more that the spawn mechanics are different.
Lots of bugs spawn across a map, meaning there are far more chances for the bug you want to spawn (and you can track them with the buzzy jar, which you can't do with fish).
Plus you can force bug spawns with lures.
I honestly had more trouble getting starred versions of most fish than starred versions of bugs though.

Some preserves are rather expensive food choices for animals, but they ARE convenient foods, I can't argue with that. Canned Beans are also terrifically efficient for the price, a bit of an anomaly for them really.

Anyone havin issues with flowers from the blooms? I put some on my plot, the flowering bushes in diff colors... Now I have watered them severam times and they seems to be stuck in a cycle where they literally shrink and regrow as soon as I water them and I can't remove them. They are also on top of one of the mounds so I can't remove that either bc there are stuff on top of it. I tried loads of angles and I caan't find the hitbox for them.
