I think it's more rare in the sense that they're new and haven't been heavily distributed yet. Give it like a couple of months and they'll probably be viewed as common like the regular potato

It happens sometimes. You can go 100 in a day and then…. 2. The best explanation I’ve heard is that they spawn more when there is already a living duskwing when you set your lure. So if you set a lure and get no duskwings, server hop and see if another one is better.

Also for the peki it is about their physical wellbeing. The reason shrubery and places to hide are important for fowl is because they are prey animals who regularly get killed by coyoties, raccoons, and hawks. You don't free range jungle fowl in an empty field and then get surprised when you're missing a couple and your rooster is on edge

Got kind of blindsided by the Reroll Cookie today. It's written such that I expected that the level of all traits could change (i.e. Night Owl 1 can become Night Owl 5), but what actually happened was that:
My Peki's four traits (Wise 1, Sweetleaf Feathers, Youthful Energy 1, Stripes) became four mostly-new traits (Hangry, Bluesy Feathers, Precocious 2, Stripes).

It seems like the reroll cookie takes the total number of traits, assigns fresh rarity classes, and generates new traits from those rarity classes.

All I wanted was the chance to make my animal better at what it had, not basically a whole new animal 🙁

yeah, the description of the reroll cookie could use a bit of work. I've noticed it rerolls the "category" of each trait rather than what you'd expect (same trait -> different tier). Like Sweetleaf Feathers -> Bluesy Feathers is Animal Feather Color -> Different Animal Feather Color, and Youthful Energy I -> Precocious II is Age-Related Trait -> different Age-Related Trait.
I definitely agree with you that it should work by just changing the tier/level

What you can see on the picture are the tickets that got earned (small balloon=1, medium balloon=3 and the big blue balloon=30) so even if the whole server got 1,827 tickets it doesn’t meant they popped over 1000 balloons :)
