Okay so basically it's holding down the left mouse button and letting it go to throw the bobber out. Then wait for the nibbles, the fish will nibble 2 times and with the third time you need to click left mouse button again to get it hooked. (It also plays a little jingle when it bites so you can hook) It will wiggle around, so you have to move your mouse to keep the bobber between the ( ) and also hold down the left mousebutton to reel it in. Some fish do little jumps and stuff like that, while they're doing that stop reeling in and start again when they're under-water-wiggely as usual 🙂

Try to disconnect and reconnect your Palia account via Twitch, sometimes it's buggy on behalf of Twitch itself. Also always empty your cache and cookies before a new round of drops helps, Twitch is a bit sensitive when it comes to pretty old cache/cookies 😅

Sounds like you were on that server a long time. 😄 It happens. Bit complicated to explain because i only have half-knowledge on how servers work, but basically if one serversection gets empty it'll go under mini-self-maintanance and clear itself, that's why we're constantly switching servers through the loading-screen, so they can maintain stable. It doesn't do that if there's still someone on it, but will drop out the list of servers where new players get sort into, you know? I used those empty servers a lot back in the days to see how the spawns work 😄

It is regular, but only a infected Maws counts for the accomplishment. Ironically the infected Angelfish took me months to get, while Maws only a week because the saltwater has way more frequent infected puddles. 😅

depends overall on what kind of fish but the fish to farm are

maws - obvious choice, very ideal but very hard to find unless through illegal methods (do not cheat) or by having multiple dedicated fishermen, spawns all day in elderwoods saltwater
majiri of war - 2nd best choice, same pool as maws but only spawns at 3-6am and 6-9pm
inveryrn mermaid - also good choice, spawns all day in elderwoods freshwater
eleroo eel - 2nd best rare fish, somewhat common for rare and in the same pool as maws and majiri of war, spawns only 3-6am and 6pm-3am
angelfish - best rare fish, spawns in the same pool as mermaid, spawns at 3am-9pm
goldfish - easily farmed through your home plot, allowing you to restock on more worms, buffs and repair fishing rod, spawns all day
void ray - can be farmed at underground market, since players are fishing to pass the time for hotpot to open, by fishing with the rest, you get the fishing with others buff
ancient fish - can be farmed during maji market, only spawns once completing waves bundles, same idea as void ray where people fish to pass the time for the market to open, spawns all day
giant kilima stingray - same as ancient fish, except its the worst selling epic and spawns only at 3am-9pm

but like rogue chapaa says, dont worry about farming fish, you should really worry about the other ingredients

Understandable! I live for the grind tbh. Every update I hope for new plushes or something else I can grind. 😂 My bf looked at me today, raised an eyebrow and asked "Still fishing? Your commitment is crazy. Couldn't do that like at all." but that's just how my brain works. It's so soozing to do the same thing all the time, I only take a few breaks to write in here or do IRL-stuff or keep my Pekis happy 😂 When I was younger there were a free to play mob grinder mmorpg where you leveled through slashing monsters all day and on higher level you only gained like 0,0001% Exp per monster. Life has changed a lot for me over the years, but especially in the last three or four, when life changed dramatically (lost a leg and an eye, almost died, have a lot of complications, etc) and priorities changed. The grind just...isn't fun and I prioritize the things I find fun and enjoyable 🙂 But, that's different for everyone. If the grind is fun for you, grind away 🙂

I'm always the one hosting on my home server for when we decide to have a 2week phase, those are always modpacks these days. Vanilla is usually on that one server, I've even saved a copy of all my builds on there in case that server ever goes down 😂 but as for the recent stuff ancient cities and onwards copper and the golems or whatever I've not kept up or played much vanilla since. Oh god Ark survival evolved, I've clocked 1500hours in there 😂 Ascended only 63.
Friend of mine has 2.7k in evolved. That was one of the main games we played when we met eachother in school.
We only played with new updates to evolved, but with ascended we also haven't bothered with any new DLCs.

Resource management is my favorite part of the game so hard to relate, but re: gardening in particular - find a layout that has high water retention and high weed prevention, where most of the crops have a similar growth cycle (mine are all multiple-of-3 crops) and then you minimize the time you're spending on it.

If you maxed both Einar and the gardener you must have already had the quest… but you can always log a ticket if it’s bugged for you

Yes, I know. It somehow it had nothing to do with Einar when they did it. They bypassed the Einar parts. They were gifting the Gardener directly without a quest or whatever, then moved him to the plot (maybe in the build menu? Again, I don't even know if it was the quest, I haven't looked into it), got him to the plot somehow.

Maybe it was the statue? Again, I'm sorry, I don't know the difference, even if there is one. I'm very new and only just completed the roots temple, apologies

You get the gardener on your plot when you complete the level 2 quest. So you don't have to keep visiting him in bahari bay, you get the statue right to your inventory when done the level 2 quest, for his weekly gifts, you need glass pane, floatfish mushroom, blood beetle and willow-o-wisp (yes it does work) as for other gifts he likes seeds and quality up fertilizer. You have to have temple of roots done as well. ||(which is the gardener's temple)||
