There's a few ways to get this. Either the farming levels, but two other ways. I'll put it in spoiler tag, just in case for others.

||You get one as a reward from a quest from Naio, at friendship level 3.
You also get one or two as a reward from a quest, from Zeki, at friendship level 3.||

||With the quest from Zeki, you get one during the quest, and if you use that to compelte it, you get rewarded with two. Just bringing that up, because if you use that one, then you'll have to end up getting another! (which, since you already have one, shouldn't take too long and can be requested.)||

regular gems however, you can at least gift your NPC's the gem that correlates to their sign at least once, which is a great friendship booster, and yes there is a a few that are required for the main story bundles and one quest

Starred gems can also be displayed as decor, and you should keep one each of|| jasper, emerald, and aquamarine|| for bundles and a later game friendship quest if you have not fulfilled those as yet.

Reth and tish's parents passed through the veil when Tish was a small palian so she doesn't remember them but Reth was old enough to remember how they were never home so he got into cooking due to him taking care of and raising his little sister and then she got sick, they moved to kilima roughly a year or so before our human character came into existence again

Hmmm so you went to the plot they teleported to, then immediately hopped back to the plot they belong on? Maybe leave your plot and come back just to try again. Or relog if that doesn't work. And once the trees do end up on the right plot again, the way to avoid this happening again is to stay on the plot you're growing your flow trees on at the 6am growth timestamp in game and they will not teleport.

If it's in normal storage, you're good. Don't need to carry it. You can also access your own storage from host's chests

I personally host non-specific cooking parties where we cook whatever we want for a few times, so I advice people to have a well-rounded stock. I have this anyways because I'm a cooking addict xD
It doesn't mean like, 100 of everything, but a little of everything or as much as possible. I generally keep 20-40 things on hand at once of a crop, a little more in the zeki purchaseables because they're used in so many dishes

My parties attract both new players (which I read you as being, Anna) and older players, and in new players' case, I can't expect them to have 40-80 blueberries and apples combined around for petit fives or pies. So a little of as much as possible, with everything ideal

I was always saving towards the next. Kinda bummed when they halved the iron chest price (iirc it's 25k now but I got it for 50) because I had bought it like 1 week before, but I'm happy new players get it easier in that regard

Doesn't prevent me from having storage issues at max chests tho 🤣
