Auto-run uses "slow" movement, that is regular run as opposed to sprint... which is reasonable in itself. However, there's a separate option for the sprint setting. If someone uses the hold to sprint option here you still have to hold the sprint button in even with auto-run for the player to sprint which, if you want fast movement, defeats the purpose of the auto-run. I haven't tested it, but I assume toggle and tap would be handsfree when combined with auto-run.

I played back in like December/January when palium was one and done, and then i took a break and came back this month. I feel like finding nodes is so much harder now but somehow im still getting loads of resources??? Idk man 😭

Use a compass, start at one end of the map, I usually start north and go south. Mine everything, even small rocks and iron. As soon as you make it to a point where nothing is pinging on your compass, head to the other end of the map (north to south or vice versa) and you will find pal. If not, server hop to a friend's while your compass is still going.

This also works great if someone else is mining in the opposite end too so more stuff is able to spawn in, but either way works. Rinse and repeat. It's a bad night if I average less than 25-30 pal a compass.
