I had a goofy bug where my character's movement (like leaning forward or way backwards), was tied towards where my camera was. So if i was looking down (like if i wanted to look at my crops/garden), my character would lean waaaay forward. If i looked up at something, she'd be like... actually looking up.

It was kinda goofy, and confused me for a moment haha

Yeah, it's a lot. You can always try to join one, mention you're new and not used to it, and see if you can get one of the "easier" roles, so it's something you can get used to. Some people are usually v nice about that, and will help.

They've changed since I've last done it, but I ended up starting off with "Leafing" ((just mixing sweet leaf in a bowl)), and it was pretty easy. Anxiety inducing! But i got the hang of it. You just do it once, wait for the cake(s) to be done, then do it again. It's very um.. tedious though.

its really about finding what works for you and how you play. gardening is great passive money cause you can always be growing things and selling. some people (myself included) grow apples, put apples in preserve jars for jam, put jam in glowworm bins, sell worms and fertilizer for profit

id recommend getting sernuk then! theyre the big deers. as you level up you get better equipment and can go to bahari and get tougher ones that sell for more

The balances they mentioned were specifically about trying to balance different skill profitability. So they made gems less valuable, addedamber to trees to make foreaging more profitable, and mode other rare and epic stuff (e.g. bugs and hunting) more valuable.

Slowdown arrows used to be the best way to deal with them, but now (since it's not all-or-nothing) the dispel arrows are better. I cannot keep up with the glowshrooms. Never anticipated that as a problem.

But I do need to just break the cycle. Been hunting them too much. I think I might have been better off starting this game later. I come back for each patch and come up with some new thing to try to do. The plushies and extremely time consuming. There is some dissonance when people talk about doing the temple of gales and they don't have palium tools yet or whatever.

That's because you most likely got it from a friendship quest, you have to actually catch the starred beetle yourself for that achievement
