I think part of the great part of characterization in media, especially in games like Palia, is that you get to interact with them in a way that you get front row seats to witness, and potentially influence, their character arc. Part of that process though means that you have to allow their characters the space and time to arc.

Hi, genuine question; how do you guys deal with hurtful or just painfully annoying servers? For 4 days straight I’ve been stuck in servers where people would curse at each other, lie to waste other people’s time (calling FT’s that are not there, quickly chopping them down before people can get there, etc), refusing to call out groves or pal or chopping down groves all by themselves.

it’s starting to ruin to game for me because the atmosphere is just awful all the time. any tips?

Yesterday one group was just bullying and calling one player a bunch of names because she was being helpful by calling out heatroot :/

I genuinely haven't experienced most of this stuff but I do know chat isn't working for a lot of people. It's possible maybe those people teamed up and joined/created a group.

Maybe you can do the same, find a community so you don't have to worry about the nonsense?

Resources are unlimited and always available so if you use something like the ore compass or dowsing rod (?) More will show up. You can also ft farm on your own (or with a community), pretty much same with pal - just hit everything 😅

That was my first thought, too. But they are able to use chat for other things, so it’s strange that they can call out a ‘fake’ grove or FT, but can’t say anything else.

I know things are unlimited - I’ve been playing this game for months, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help each other locate things, right? Especially when people are new in the community. A lot of people play alone, including myself. So hunting down creatures or finding FT’s is difficult.

I’ve heard multiple beginners in the game say that they were thinking of deleting the game because people are treating them so badly.

It’s been like this on and off since the beginning, but in the past weeks it’s been non stop and it’s ruining the atmosphere a lot.

If I had a choice I’d play the game without being dependent on other people but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that 😂

block them and the game will do its best not to put you on the same servers as them in the future. its not a perfect solution to your problems but it will go a long way to solving most of them hopefully. Unfortunately whilst it may appear to most players as kinda d!ckish behavior they are technically not doing anything wrong in regards to the S6 ToS.

I have to be honest and say in all the time i have played since August last year i have not experienced any of what you discribe, although that does not make your experience any less painful. not always easy to do but forget about those kinds of people and find the people you do wanna play with. make the experience the one you want. and i promise you, you will have a great time! in the mean time you always have the rabble known as #💬│palia-general to ask for help

Same. I am in uk so I get EU servers. I actually miss the american ones, I had a lot more fun on those. I also end up in servers a lot where they arent speaking english so i feel bad when they ask for help and i cant etc. But I just do my thing. I have noticed since the last update its harder to hit rocks with other for the weekly as everyone just hits them now as they know there is a timer for others to get there haha.

but what is cozy for you and what is cozy for someone else can be very different. as annoying and frustrating as some of these things can be, ultimately they are playing the game the way they want and within S6 ToS and rules so although its not fun you just have to put it behind you and get on with it. surround yourself with enough nice, and like minded people so that the few that dont play the way you do no longer matter or has an impact on your gameplay. And remember you never know what is going on with the other player behind the computer. put nice out and you will get nice back

There's no vanilla way to get up there. But if you're good and patient, you can try the geyser glitch, by entering the geyser and immediately opening your menu then inventory, then sometimes when you exit back to world youll be way higher up than intended and you can glide to almost any inaccessible spot in Baha
