I think having water retain for everything is the main thing for easy management. You could do that with stripes of tomatoes/potatoes/cabbages.

Ah-ha! I was right; the confusion regarding the rugs is definitely due to them having the wrong description and name. The description for the pattern rug is almost certainly meant to be on the rug we got from Wave 2

I think it's partially due to the fact they changed the naming scheme from the Palcat Party set of rugs. Those were named the Small Rug (the face) and the Large Rug (the patterned rug)

One thing that I fine perpetually annoying in this game is how often things are essentially impossible to do without guides. The eggs are a bit doable since the area is small-ish, but finding five rootseeker medallions in all of Bahari is just impossible without looking up a guide. And looking up a guide makes it kind of trivial.

I can give them a bit of a pass on that. The Water Temple was the first one, after all, and they improved the Temple rewards quite a bit afterwards. But it does make the Water Temple feel a bit weird mechanically. In a similar vein, the Water Temple is the only one now that doesn't have a medallion hunt as part of its bundles

I feel like at this point they could have (and honestly should have) changed the reward for the water temple though to something more similar to the other 3. quite frankly it can do both things! ||it could unlock the ancient fish for actual fishing while still giving you a mini placeable pond shrine where the fish surfaces once a day to give you a reward like the rest of them. it still incentivizes catching the ancient fish if you want it on display permanently (and also for possible museum) while giving you a true reward in a similar vein to the others||

It would be a large rework, but the way I'd do it is make getting the first Seeker medallion activate a quest. Then, that quest would show the area you'd need to look. I'd probably only have the medals for each bundle show up around their respective temple area too, just so you don't need to hunt around all of Bahari.

since they do seem to do monthly updates i dont see why they couldnt make the trees lose leaves aesthetically? maybe im just asking for to much but leaves on the ground and watching the trees became bare during autumn time. it would fit the theme of the register selling leaves etc

you do have to log in every hour for them to grow, yes. they only grow one tick once you log off (when it hits 6 am game-time)
