You can, but only with a bug. Your best chance of joining the Palia space program is by getting knocked up by muujin or a geyser that boosts you more than it's supposed to. I think that time it was a geyser in the two-geyser cave near Windy.

I personally am just really happy to finally get a game where it's a viable option for everyone. Much like anyone of any gender can date anyone of any gender, it's nice to be able to have any relationship structure a player wants to engage with in their own games. It was super frustrating for me when BG3 said they were implementing polyamory and then only like... 2 of the characters were actually okay with it.

There are so few games where polyamory is treated as something that's accepted and commonplace, and Palia does have it written into some character interactions that you can have monogamy if you so desire it.

If anything, I'd prefer more dialogue options to discuss the relationship structures with the other characters instead of just choosing to date them all without anyone's knowledge or input. There are some characters who do indicate some jealousy, and that doesn't necessarily mean they're monogamous. It's just a valid feeling that even polyam folks go through, so it would be nice to be able to discuss it together instead of as a one-off comment that's never seen again.

I guess there's no real argument for that for me except that the player can choose what their preference is for their own game. If you want a character to be played monogamously, they can be, so there's no real reason, imo, to restrict other players from exploring alternative options. Like, I deffo don't think Palia's dialogue options support a very ethical form on non-monogamy for the most part. Like... it's not cool that we can't discuss it with the characters we're dating directly, and it's not cool that characters like Kenyatta get to be bad hinges who put you in a position where you choose for them what they do with relationships that don't have anything to do with you. But I do like that Hodari at least addresses it in a slightly unsatisfactory but mostly ethical way.

So yeah. I guess like... since we're moving away from games where people are exclusively heterosexual and more into games where all the dateable characters are bisexual, it's nice that we're getting more options like that for relationship structures, too.

I've seen people even try to "witch-hunt" (lack of better words) others, by calling them out by name, and saying never to interact with said person, etc. I've seen people even try to do that in the discord itself.

I haven't seen it happen over Palium as often (a lot more rare), but over groves and flow trees? yeah, people sometimes get nasty.

it’s more to take the effect one year, one per active shot, but say with the magic sernuk you’d want maybe 6 dispell arrows cuz each time you hit the animal the effect is gone for a certain time and then comes back

It's pretty hard to switch arrows mid hunt. I usually just use dispel for the chapaa and sernuk and slowdown for the muujin (just talking about it magic ones)

For the muujin and chapaa if you dispel them before they use their magic it doesn't do anything. So you have to hit them right after.

Yeah, I've tried several herbal teas. It just doesn't do it. Cause I used non dairy creamer in my coffee. And cocoa would be a good fit texture wise. It just has far too much sugar to drink all of the time. Halp :P

So, for example, if you hit the sernuk with the dispel it won't be able to teleport for a few seconds. If you hit the muujin while you can see it (before anyone else has hit it) it will just do damage. If you hit the muujin after it goes invisible it will be visible for a few seconds. Any subsequent hit will keep either of them from using their magic.

It's a little odd how it works so differently for the different animals

The thing about the muujin is that you have a very short window to kill it before it climbs a tree and heals. I find it's easier to just use slowdown arrows. The slowdown effect has an animation which kind of allows you to still see the muujin.

It is, and it's something that you can completely control in terms of matcha to sugar ratio... it's also good with dairy alternatives (I primarily use almond/oat). ❤️ It has a good deal of caffeine in it, and a lot of people say the caffeine "crash" isn't as intense with matcha as it might be with a coffee. Hibiscus tea is great ( caffeine free too) and if you add an acid like lemon it changes color lol

It depends on how much you use, but matcha typically has a decent amount of caffeine. It is just ground up green tea leaves after all.

Yeah. The point is to find a caffeine alternative since I've basically been weaned off of decaf over the last 3 weeks. gentle smile Maybe I'll get a little bit of a lot of different things and have a grab back every morning :P Old habits are SO hard to let go of

https://youtu.be/S2i-Yrz0930?si=8MzWzofyjpf82jzJ here’s a video of someone using dispell arrows, you’d see it cancels the effect and it runs instead of teleports (tho it doesn’t matter how many dispell arrows you hit it with the timer is still the same before his magic effect comes back) can fire 2-3 times if your aim is good , i usually fire once and chase him and wait until he stops and hit him again, it’s a bit slower but if others join in it helps , you can use just fine arrows but it’s more of a chase

I find that if I can get at least 2 shots off on the sernuk every time it's a lot easier. Then he only teleports once at the end and it's much easier to not lose him.

There are those beverages like caffix and pero, which are made out of grains. They have no caffeine and do have a coffee vibe. They were made as an alternative.
