All my friends and me changed from normal launcher to Steam. We all uninstalled our old launcher, then installed our new one on Steam.
Your progress and character are saved server-side, not on your pc. So there is no problem uninstalling and reinstalling. It's the same as if you bought a new pc/switch. :3

Raids aren't what the game is supposed to be though. It's already super focused on hunting imo and it was always supposed to be optional and not a main focus

I think it could work and be fine, depending on how it'd be implemented and how it'd work. If it's something that's optional to some extent-- maybe it just gives more resources etc or something similar-- it could work imo. (I am thinking more of dungeons in a sense, though, rather than raids!)

...But also, I'd be nervous of them adding anything new like that, where they say it'll be optional and then having it actually be part of a temple or something similar later on lol. Looking at you Temple .. 😭 /halfjoking

Yeah, exactly. That's the huge concern/worry I'd have. If they actually meant it was purely optional, and only a way to maybe get more resources at 1 time just for fun, instead of like... idk, things you actually need to do. It'd be fine imo. And it could help that "itch" some people get, esp in regards to the "MMO" or "social" aspect.

Could be more puzzley in some regards, with some combat inbetween. Or just different kinds of "dungeons" that is in regards to diff skills. It'd just all depend on how it would be implemented.

But again, i'd be super concerned. Cuz... .. Temple. 😭

I'd also look into Paradise Marsh! This goes for anybody. It's a pretty short game; Finished in about 3-4 hours, and I find it very chill/cosy. Catching bugs/creatures/critters, and it tells the "story" in a sense while you play through and do that.

Turn the Sound to 1, then it always stays active xD
If you have it completely muted and in the background it tends to not count the viewtime sometimes

Pick on that suits you and make sure their name has "Drops on". Watch the stream. I think it's 2.5 hrs for all 3 of this weeks drops. I've had this streamer running since 8:30am. So once the drops went live, I was already part way through the required time. If little old lady here can do it, so can you <3

I think it's a lot like life, people have their good and bad qualities and you get a lot of background from the npcs along the way as to why they're like that! I enjoy the depth of characters honestly, it helps give uniqueness to the game interactions and the world dynamic. You also learn a ton of lore through the npcs!!!

I personally have been decorating my extra plots that I had to buy for the gazebo, I made one into a cooking plot with a giant dining hall that I host cooking parties at regularly. And the next one is going to be an enchanted forest with walking paths, gardens, meadows, fountains, the works. Plus I've been slowly accumulating all starred bugs (7 left) and fish (much more than 7 left) for my museum! Add to that all starred gems, and all unique palaceable quest items (including trophies) that all takes quite a while!
