There's a detailed open letter explaining all of it that I'd written with the others in the survey itself! But the tl;dr:

A couple local Shepps and Palians got together wanting to move forward with working towards having S6 consult the Palian community on accessibility and disability. We also know that things are tight over there, that game development is hard, and there's just not enough resources to do everything. So, we hoped to assist in some small way in getting the ball rolling.

There'll be more coming up once the survey is closed on March 8th. We'll be getting as many written, audio, and video testimonies from people as possible, too!

The idea of the survey: to get the ball rolling we need to ask and answer if there even is an accessibility issue at all, and if so, what does it look like (or not).

Ahhh, I see. I suspect that you're going to encounter resistance from S6 on offering help, but that does seem to be one way to collect info on accessibility issues.

The thing is that even when the team was significantly larger last year, they weren't tackling accessibility issues then, despite constant requests (or were doing so in a very limited fashion - for instance, changing the fishing rod cast time - which backfired on people who don't have accessibility issues).

I've been playing since closed beta in August, I've seen a lot of stuff (and a lot of discussions about accessibility in many different locations here on Discord). I'm pretty sure they already know what the issues are because they've been reported. But I wish you well with your survey!

I submitted a ticket to Support about that when it first launched on Switch. When viewing the shipping bin, the icon for what should be Renown is replaced with the Palia coin icon, so however much Renown you have is showing up as if you have Palian coins. Support told me then they'd work on fixing that, so they're aware.

Meanwhile, I do believe Palian coins on PC and Switch are separate because Nintendo makes things a little complicated so those currencies are not shared across different platforms.

Hi peeps. Snakes are amazing. I have kept quite a few different species as pets. Unfortunately I had to stop as getting food for them became an issue. They where used to live feeds and some pencil pushed decided its inhumane and that we need to feed dead frozen and my snakes refused to eat dead. With regards to them tagging, even the most docile of snakes can bite, it doesn't really hurt as much as gives u a fright. The venomous ones depending on the amount of venom depends if you will really feel it, the bites are usually painless its the spreading of the venom that you feel.

That's an issue with a lot of reptiles. Like when I worked at a pet shop, you have to keep careful track of how many crickets you gave the lizards. If you gave them too many, the crickets could eat the waste, and then the lizards would get sick after eating them. And on the other hand, if their were too many and the lizards didn't care enough to eat them, the crickets could start chowing down on the lizards

This is true. When they get fed already dead rats they don't really know what to do with the live ones or if they are not hungry and yes the rats do mess them up. We had a rescue that was left in his tank with a rat that had a few chunks taken out of him by the rat. It's sad
