Yes. More "recipes" (for items, not food) come available, at higher levels. Then, you buy those, and craft those items, then you can use them
Like grill for a Level or 2, then buy a prep station and a stove, then make some things which give more XP. After a few more Levels, move up to mix station and oven
(I, honestly, don't recall exactly. I really did reach Level 12, before buying any of those, but you get the idea)
NOTE: Whilst doing anything for XP, you probably want to keep you Focus bar full, for faster Leveling

The fire bundle bobber has helped me so much with fishing! I didn't even think about the bobber when I was doing the bundle because I was after the kitsuu item.
The other thing I did (besides constant sushi and the creatable sinker) while grinding for the fire temple bundle was change my FOV to 60 and drop the hook as close to me as possible. 30 doesn't work at all because the forced fishing angle causes the reticle to go off screen every time, but 60 just works about 90% of the time, and the times the reticle started off the screen it came onto the screen by pulling the line a little
I might have also been sitting with my face like two inches from the screen but I don't recommend that for a variety of reasons
Now that I have the fire bundle bobber, I no longer have to change FOV, I can even catch most of the fish I struggled with before without buffs. Not sure how much is due to increasing my actual skill and how much is due to being able to see the bobber more easily
Same tool at least. [And for level] I'm only at 13 now so maybe I went from like 11 to 12 or something.

Tips for finding the grove when it spawns......wear headphones cause then you can tell direction and distance when it makes the spawn noise. And there is also a swirling red vortex above the grove that can be seen from about 100meters away

sometims it happens randomly, but stay out on same map..there is a repair sttaion and wardrobe out at bahari stables, if gt the gold / repair kits. or a repair anvil in town in kilama...so in theory you should be able to stay on the same sever on pc a long time

it's not lucky, it's actually very unlucky. none of them ever speak, even if I whisper them. there's a bug with the friends list that resends friend requests infinitely when you try to decline them. and adding them as a friends and removing them just puts it back to a friends request. it's MASSIVELY annoying to have many people who don't even want to speak to you just randomly add you and then be stuck there forever

I find the easiest ways to get silk is cutting juniper trees. It will spawn a lot of amber beetles. Mining spawns a lot of rare bugs too. Any rare bugs you see roaming in between that is a bonus

It's not great to breathe, but is generally nontoxic to anything larger than a bug. It might be worth looking into if you can convince the landlord to dump some of it around the building
