you can spend money (or you get 2 boosts included with Discord nitro). Boosting can give a discord more perks -- like extra sticker and emjoi slots -- if they allow it. I don't see that this server does, but someone with more experience can tell me otherwise

To have animated pfps and stuff you need to have nitro though, so the meme is implying the person is still paying for discord but not using one of their two free boosts for the server

There isn't a set number. When people chop down trees, RNG determines some of them will spawn back as a flow tree. The only exception is the (in-game) midnight "Flow Grove". Which typically have 4-6 flow trees in them

I just hunted Kilima moths and common blue butterflies bc they don’t get spooked and they’re easy to spot. Just make a bunch of smoke bombs before you go

You get more xp for the rarer the bugs are to catch. I found making sure to catch bugs that spawn when you pick forage materials (mushrooms, etc) and from mining you get to lvl bug catching while not feeling like that's all your doing. Those bugs also drop silk thread which you'll want to making silk later in the game.

If you have the modification bench, then I find you can mix styles easy if you color everything the same style. Sadly there is limited styles currently, but if you like one, then the type of furniture doesn't matter as much if you can just match the color

Ahh yeah. They put out hotfixes constantly, and even added a ton of new content over the last few months. I was a closed beta and stress tester, and there's SO much more than when I started! I'm not sure what an Agile shop means!

Agile is a methodology for running businesses. It's fairly common in the dev world, but is kind of spreading to other industries as well. In general, it tends to run in "sprints" where major content or features would be planned and implemented in two week chunks.

From what I know and have seen, I think they plan to fully stay free with only the premium shop as their main support. I think their main goal was to create something completely accessible and fun for everyone, and I don't see it behind a paywall any time soon. 🙂

We were super small too. I mean, it was three of us when I started. Built the company up to 18 employees before we got bought by a venture cap firm. The only bug that is pestering me is the achivements one. And I just made a new character, and that one doesn't have the achievement bug, so I get it when the devs cant figure a way to fix it easily.

I mean, you still can, they count, you just won't have the information on what you still need. Though, if you haven't checked recently, the tracking might be fixed? IIRC, they stated you may need to recatch a bug/fish/whatever to see it show up. I imagine just pulling it from storage won't work, as it probably records it at the exact moment you catch/loot the critter

So guys, I just checked the price of selling 1 starred apple, and it is 96g. I apple jam is 96g. 1 apple = 1 jam. The same goes for all the other veg. So how is this a money-maker? Am I missing something?

Still think the preserves jar needs an adjustment. Either lower the time or up the sell price, it doesn't feel worth it as is imo.

I agree they could adjust it some, especially being cakes still 40k per 50x cakes

need to be other things that can make better money - gems dont make much - it sure helped mining, but you got to grind the hell out of it, other things need some love too

I too am wondering if preserve is worth it. With potato it would take 18 hrs worth of preserve and 10 barrels to reliably make 28k and that's more then I can guarantee with 81 crop tiles and all would have to be starred.

Honestly, for something that requires zero investment other than produce and time, preserves are pretty worth it imo

Idk because you have to factor in the growth time for crops plus the preserve time.

@odd herald you dump it in before bed - and throw more in a couple times a day - it is just a couple mins work, and its passive income while doing other things like cooking parties, mining, etc, you not sitting there doing it

crops are simple once you get it down and get all the palium tools, tending to crops is only a couple mins work - if you cant stand it would be the only issue lol
