I believe butter and salt can’t be star ingredients, as you can’t make them yourself, only the ingredients you make yourself can be starred, so they are ok to use with starred ingridients

I think the prices for bag and storage upgrades are okay, considering that you only upgrade each a few times and then you're done with it.

When I hit 'the limit' and I was unable to place more chests I sold a great deal of my stored items which was quite a bit since I pretty much kept everything, and I ended up with quite a bit of gold and decided to buy the copper chest instead of the iron one (which I still could not afford) and started upgrading the 8 storage chests I had and doing so helped a great deal.

I now have plenty of inventory space to spare and I still have a few regular storage chests yet to upgrade. I don't know if it will help you, but that's how I tackled to inventory limits. Good luck!

I know Palia is a passive game with no PvP but will there be weapons we can make or use to go hunting or fight monsters/animals?

We want to provide an experience to our community sim audience first, and there are exciting possibilities to go beyond that. It's helpful to remember that while Palia is a community sim MMO, it is not an MMORPG. MMORPG's are typically about slaying foes and getting stronger, but Palians spend the majority of their time engaging in gathering and crafting activities, developing relationships with NPC's, and building up their plot of land.

We have absolutely heard the feedback from players that they want some form of combat gameplay in Palia, and have a few plans in the works. Currently, our Hunting skill is closest to this in feel. (More details soon) Players can hunt Palian wildlife with a bow and arrow for their hides, meat, and other valuable materials to craft and cook.

Our first goal is to provide a stellar experience to the community SIM audience, and then anything is possible for expanding the game in the years (and hopefully decades) that we will be adding to the game!

Keep in mind that's from a while ago, so we'll see if that's still in scope.

I just wouldn't want them to "hold back" with potentially good additions just because of some strict no-combat philosophy. I was thinking dungeoneering one day. Could add procedurally generated ruins or something. But I suppose even those don't need AI enemies in them per-se. Could also "just" do foraging, mining, woodcutting in them. Have maybe some environmental hazards or general obstacles like they already exist in the temples there are. Lean more into puzzling, maybe add a new archeological skill line/profession or something. We'll see I guess.

Right, but the boards are for the area specifically, and to transfer to nearer big spot like Bahari, and to go home. The other board may not do that, it might just be to the big city centers only. It encourages keeping the game more immersive, where you still have to go through certain area to use the correct board.

As for mounts, they always make zones feel smaller in every game, but they could limit the use of mounts in a number of ways to still match the vibe of the game.

Interestingly enough. The travel boards are marked with horseshoes, and there is a spot in Bahari and kilima, that is literally a stable. I don’t think it’s unintentional.

Not all spoilers are unreleased data. Spoilers can be as simple as a villager's content at lvl 4 quest or something. My opinion is that when data-mining, good faith should be exercised and content that you know isn't public yet shouldn't be posted about or used until such content is made available. There are different types of "Dark" though. ||Reth, Zeki and Tish are the result of dark things beyond their control|| . Jel is a dark individual, he is troubled and struggling as an artist, so it can get confused that it is just because he is a dramatic artist, that doesn't mean it is a flavor of dark. Remember, there are even multiple types of vanilla.

He mostly struggles finding what kind of stuff he wants to do with a path he already likes but hasn't quite nailed down, because ||even his family relations are good, he still gets invited to family events and all? it's just about "plz keep the brand reputation of our clothing line to earn our approval, literally whatever you wanna do" (?)||

Yeah, it can! But it's definitely a different kind of mess. ||For example Reth is getting tracked by an actual cartel even Subira can't do much about and has no way out even when he really wants to because if he tries chances are Tish will die and then he will too and the whole family line is gonna be kaboom if he messes up to the point Ashura just gives a "feels rough man" hug because he cant even advice him, not leaving him alone is the best he can do. Zeki is fighting against something bigger than him that is no fault of his own, because he wants out, and is doing carefully so as he does because he has messed up in the past and knows the more he messes up the more of a goner he's gonna be, and yet he tries to help others in his position as much as he can because he knows it sucks to be there. Jel has money, support and resources available, but he isn't reaching out to them because he can't see them. He needs time and a direction and to face his fears of not being enough, but he's too scared to do so. If he fails, he'll be messing himself up, drown in a darkness of his own creation.|| All struggles are valid, but the weight the consequences carry in proportion to what the character can realistically deal with is what gives the different flavors of darkness in writing.

yeah, there is a lot of mess tied between those three. *These are some big spoilers for those who have not done the storyline for Tish, Zeki and Reth, with some of Jel * so unspoiler at own risk! || I Feel the worst for Reth. He abandonded a path he wasn't good at to provide for an ill sister, and took on a massive debt with his life on the line to help get her healthy again. And he can't even defend himself against the people in town who just look down on him as a path traitor. Zeki at least holds the contract, or so he says, which is good I guess, because he keeps them from worse people.. I wish I had the option to help pay off the debt. For both Reth and Zeki.
With Jel, I think he doesn't want the family to know how much he is struggling to find his own signature style. He fantasizes about what he views as a romantic, beautiful way to die, but cannot figure out how to channel that into his designs. He could reach out, but I think he sees that as a failure||
