Yeah it's pretty annoying helping other players because everyone's UI and position is different and it puts off a lot of players. FFXIV and Runescape3 (garbage UI on this one) It confuses a lot of people.

Fish a lot. Worms don't make a difference, location doesn't make a difference. I've caught 10 chests in a short period with no worms before, but I've also caught a bunch with glow worms or regular worms, and I catch them no matter where I'm fishing.

I wouldn't spend 1 hour, just a buzz jar at dawn, mostly because that's when it might spawn and probably won't spawn again till next day if someone scares/catches it. Unconfirmed but it shares spawning with normal butterflies and unless you are actively catching these it will not spawn

I 'm new here, but I've been playing Palia religiously and wanted to show you guys something i made. I'm currently trying to catch all the star quality fish in the game to put on display on my plot. I've been asked a few times how i keep track of everything. I have made a google sheet that has all of the fish in the game. It is sortable, filterable, and is categorized by Name, Location, Time of Day, Bait, and Rarity. It also has a little box on the side where you can tick if you've caught it or not and counts how many fish you have caught. It has proven very useful, im on fish 68/81! It keeps everything on track for me and allows me to know what i have on display. I can share the link for the google sheet template for those who would like something better than what they have online.

There is no "when". You hit the drums, and continue to hit them until the fireworks happen.

there are three pairs of drums. you can go back and forth within one pair - when it stops drumming, sometimes the one you're at will light back up, and sometimes the other one of the pair. just keep going.

Its when a group of people go cook cakes at someones house. You can do it whenever you want since you can participate as a baker with no requirements

A group of up to 15 people split up the tasks/resources required to bake cakes together. Everyone that helps gets cakes, and they can be sold for a lot of money, or tossed into glow worm farms to sell the worms/fertilizer for even more money. It is the fastest way to make money in the game.

They are being "rebalanced" on the patch on tuesday. The fallout will be spectacular.

What does everyone do to make money aside from cake parties? I’ve never participated in those and don’t particularly want to. I’ve been farming potatoes and tomatoes and selling the seeds but with the pricing in the game it still feels kind of ridiculous.

If you get good at animation canceling, you can fire almost twice as fast. 3 shots in 2 seconds to bring down an elder sernuk is pretty good.

Just after firing your bow, right-click to cancel the recovery animation. If you can get really good at sprinting > jumping > firing > canceling, you can basically move at sprint speed while firing your bow faster than normal. Makes hunting waaay faster.
