1000 glow worms and a few days fishing pulling 12 hour shifts I got no sushi recipe. I spent a few hours at different ponds every few hours and rotated. My husband spent all of 50 minutes at the pond beside Badruu's farm and got it so fast. My eyes watered hearing he got it in just 50 minutes and it wasn't even consistent fishing because the servers kept coming down that night.

I think messing with Cake Parties right now would be a bad choice. The game has a lot of lag, connection problems, bugs everywhere and now we can't even decorate the house because it freezes the entire game and you want to change the only thing that at this stage of the game's development brings players together?

I am in favor of a redesign of Cake Parties, especially creating barriers for players new to the game not to participate in them, but I believe that the possible economic harm that cakes may be bringing to the game is compensated by the immense interactivity between players and the enormous amount of new groups that appear every day in Palia around this activity and that pave the way for all the others. Messing with this current union resource between the community without offering something with the same ability to integrate in return will generate an exodus from the game and more problems than benefits...

70k an hour is only realistic if you're running ovens. Resources take time. An hour collecting sweet leaves means that the actual profit is closer to 35k/hr. Days spent getting Jam makes it much less, but yeah, big money per hour

I think it's just a practical matter for S6 to think about whether it's better to change a resource that is a focus of unity among players or to save energy to first solve the practical problems that make gameplay difficult and only after everyone is okay start making a change. For me it's basically a question of marketing and timing.

The problem is that the gold return and costs are different per role. It doesn't really matter that you cant do them without leafers, because they dont effect the gold values of the other roles. In reality we should be discussing the gold return per role instead of individually.

I recorded my first run on a level 1 account with no friends as oven, ended up being about 30k per hour because I also factored in time spent forming the party, getting people in, and actually setting up.

Yea, I was searching for another Star Ancient Amber Beetle after my first one glitched into a rock node... even though devs said they fixed it... and clearing out the moths and the crickets got them to the green barhari glow bugs. I got two normal and one star of them. Managed to get one regular fairy mantis to spawn too, so I assume it's similar to mining regular rocks to get palium to spawn and normal trees to get flow to spawn

I checked Palia again while eating curry chicken... the fishing still needs a lot of work! It's needs to be a little more engaging? For best example, a good mechanics would be reel the fish in while tapping the left mouse and being careful not to break the fishing line? Also the harder you pull, the meter should indicate a danger zone where it may snap??

I think fishing is a good balance between something too easy, like fishing in World of Warcraft or Harvestella, versus being too annoying (personally I hate fishing in Stardew Valley)

I think the only thing i would change to make fishing more engaging would be to have the fish on the hook randomly out of 3 bites. Maybe sometimes you get a fish the first nibble and other times maybe its the second or third

if you could leave the lure in the water and pick and choose which fish to reel in, it removes the purpose of grinding lure for more rare fish as you could simply take one glow worm to a pond, wait until you see a giant goldfish and catch it

You have to be standing juuuust right to get your camera into the case properly. It's a total pain in the butt, I know. I hope they give us the ability to just open the display case's door, so we can easily access the items slots inside it. Maybe in a future patch.
