You could set a draw condition as ==, case for wining would be p1 > p2. Depends on your scoring system (points or timer). If by points adjust to have an integer higher (don’t use floats until you get comfortable), if by timer use time stop to determinate which one scores first. Another option is to just stop march after first player gets score which is p1 > p2 (don’t do >= unless you want higher or equal result which is the problem described before hand)

But if we can learn something from this is maybe next time provide a larger timeframe for maintenace if it could happen, or perhaps a more carefully set up sandbox environment before patching the live version. So far, they have consistently over delivered on down times so just consider them cashing in on their bank of "we patched faster than we said!" Yes but sometimes dev and production aren't exactly the same. Especially if some things are manually configured. It could be as simple as an incorrect string - or something as complicated as features interacting poorly with eachother. Anything can happen when deploying a build to a new environment.

Right now, the devs are probably working really hard to find the trouble spot, and they probably have been working tirelessly for the same amount of hours we're waiting, if not much more. Be thankful you're not trying to debug the issues right now - trust me.

I don't think people always realize how much making a video game costs. Multimillion dollar budgets sound like a lot to us! If I had even 1 million dollars for myself, I could be set for decades... Much less 10 million. But consider:

S6 has to pay all their employees a living wage in a competitive job market. They have to pay rent in a West Coast studio. They have to pay to keep their servers maintained and hosted, which often costs tens of thousands of dollars per month depending on the game. They have to pay for all their technology and programs, and if you're not familiar with licensing costs, keep in mind that buying a industry-standard (AutoCAD MAYA) professional 3D modeling software license costs over $2,000 per person, per year. Multiply that for every specialist who needs program licenses, usually for multiple programs. They have to pay their employees' insurances. They have to pay any travel costs.

When you add it up... "Tens of millions per year" is not nearly as much as it sounds. 10 million, even 20 million, is frequently "looking for spare change between the couch" money by the video game industry standards.

This chat is pretty toxic not going to lie. On one side there are diehard fans who will protect the devs with their lives. One the other side there are ourageously angry people. Middle ground is treated as being the angry side. So not condusive to conversation. People are allowed to feel upset even over a free game that contains microtransactions. I think constructive criticism can be offered to improve things in the future. I do not think we should blindly praise and accept behaviour we do not want to see repeated. It's feel its not good for improvement to say "thank you" when issues happen. We should be disappointed, but hopeful that in the future things will go much better. Could we have mounts?
Quest to procure a Sernuk or Ormuus. Purchase a mount pen blueprint at the town hall. Hunt and catch a Proudhorned Sernuk or buy an Ormuus Calve from Nai'o, then have Either one in the pen training/growing them until they reach a level of trust/size that they can be considered a mount. Meanwhile you construct the barding and bags that would go on it (using Metals, leathers, silk ingredients).
The Sernuk would be much faster than running, maybe twice as fast and provide 5 storage slots. The Ormuus would be large and just a little faster than running but they would provide 10 storage slots. Both could have a special unique ability as well, maybe the Sernuk would retain it's glowing burst of speed allowing it to cross certain terrains? Maybe while on the Ormuus you could still hunt due to the large stable mount? Neither of them could climb or glide.
The Shop could sell skins for each of the mounts that would change their appearances. From the color and pattern of their fur, to full blown outfits, hats and wing. That way they could be monetized as well.
