If i have 36 tomatoe plants with harvest yield, i need like 15 seed makers or is my math off? 36 * 12 = 432 Tomatoes per 10 hour. 600 minutes divided by 42 (time to make tomato seed) will round down to 14 proccessings (28 seeds for 28 tomatoes). 432 divided by 28 = 15,42 machines. But since seedmakers continue progressing over night while my farm wont be harvested 15 should be good?

A single machine makes 28 seeds during the 10 hours tomatoes need to fully grow. I make the seeds for selling, thats why i try to process the full harvest

Not true, when saving money and have tons of extra supplies. The iron crafter repair kits are easy and helpful. It would be 2 iron or like 500 gold the last time I checked to repair. I have exquisite axe & bow and fine everything else.

I tried to play the game with my daughter the other night, and every time we went to another zone we would stay in party but not be on the same server, so we had to resync to the same server each and every time. It was so tedious that my daughter quit playing due to frustration.

I've not tried it yet, but.... since you can only place 8 storage chests on your plot, you can also place 8 storage chests on your 'free' alternate plot, which increases your stroage capacity. Would it be the same with Crafting stations? 5 (or 6 since you already bought a license for an extra crafting machine) on your first plot and another 5 or 6 on the free extra plot?

TImezone does not matter (it even stated that the time on the post is local to YOU) so everyone in different time zones get that time frame, the maintanance started 29 minutes ago. This does not mean they killed every server all at once, might be doing a few at a time, and then testing to make sure those servers got the proper patch, then they will do more. So your server might not be down right this second, but might be down in the next

Upgrading the bow allows you to shoot further with less falloff. I'm not sure what the fishing pole upgrade does yet.

fishing cane makes it far easier to catch rarer fish, and teh bow gives more range, like alot more and arrow flight speed. both are quality of life upgrades.

When it comes to games (in general) there is always a grind, to figure out what makes money, as to how much time is spent making in-game currency. There will be a point in the game (it is different for every player) that suddenly it clicks, and you start getting massive amounts of currency and then suddenly you are looking at that 'gold cap' they put into place. My partner got some inheritance money from a relative passing away awhile back. So he put a little into things to make the PC better. Over time think it's amounted to just over a grand spent on the PC all together. No chance of any relatives leaving me a decent sum of money so if I want a decent gaming PC. Ahh ok, not that we know of. The devs are pretty freely giving us a heads up when they know they are going to do something, and nothing has been said that the servers will go down in prep for the overflow of new players coming to play the game.

I am a bit preocupied about open beta 10th... I dont think the game is ready for it, it gonna make leave good people and attract others more into other type of games that Palia is supposed to not be. The more Im playing, the more im having mixed feelings, things are going too fast

Join them where? If its in the open world you can go to the social menu by pressing o then click the button next to their name for party or server invite, but you need to be on the same map for the server invite to work.

If you want to join them on their farm plot then you need to visit the sign at the entry to your homestead and use it to travel to theirs

I wouldn't get worked up into gatekeeping this game and trying to decide who should or should not play it. There are many tools in the game to help you with people you don't want to play with. In fact it seems there are more tools to disappear people you don't like than to connect with people you do.

Wanting to control who has access and who doesn't is the definition of gatekeeping. I am trying to encourage you to find the things you love in the game and tie the games identity to those things so you can keep enjoying it and not have your time soured by things that are outside of your control.

There will always be people that don't like the same things and they will have to live together. The game is intended to be accessible to anyone and they are not given a chance to find a way to love the game as well then the game will never succeed. If the people you care about leave the game and that ruins the game for you its not because of anyone else it would seem at that point that the game wasn't good enough to keep you playing.

I am sorry if I misunderstood you but I cant think of another way that statement can be interpreted. I dont see the game beta release schedule as contradictory to the statement made in that video. It is a "cozy" game where you build a house and you can do it with your friends. Am I missing something?

I was talking about the demography of such genre, the "wrong" people means they're probably not about the genre of what the game is supposed to be. The game needs more time, and more work, open beta is too soon.

Ok now that I have a better understanding of what you mean I can discuss that topic.

I see your concern and I think its too early for me to know whether it is founded or not. We just don't really know much about this developer yet. I had expected the game to be a lot more group play focused but playing with others is kinda more of a hinderance to progression than a help which encourages people to just ignore each other.

I was also a little shocked by how primitive the social features are considering this is intended to be a very social game.

That said though, the things that are here currently wont attract people from most other types of games as there is no combat and the vertical progression is very rapid and limited in scope

Take the battery you found in your field and take it to the ruins. There is a door there you can open

should be marked on your map if you track the quest. Its on the top section of the map

So my friends and I cooked together tonight. It's so awesome that you just need to contribute to a recipe and everyone gets the food. We've talked about using the week for each person to farm up a specific ingredient and having a cooking night lol

I was not in the alpha so I couldn't look too closely at the game till the last few weeks when the nda was lifted. I do however understand frustration that comes from missing features that have been suggested a million times and never implemented. I can also see your point in the fact that the hype machine is in full swing while things are still needing work.

I like the idea of the request filling system. It makes the game feel like its your neighbors needing a cup of sugar or something. I just think it would help if they were ya know not a totally different group of people every time I load a screen so then I have not 25 neighbors but 20k. Maybe they can find a way to make the shards fill with community people instead of all randos? maybe half and half so you can still meet new people?
