I figured as much, but certain parts talking about the rights to User Generated Content and asking permission via email got me confused on this. The original wording near the top of the EULA made it seem like everyone can, it just can be used by them as well. But later on it made it seem liked you needed permission first to commercially "(including video streaming)" .

"You may not distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit User Generated Content (including video streaming) commercially without our prior consent (e-mail is sufficient)." Was the section that got me confused >.<

It concerned me for Affiliates or Partners on twitch. Would it count as distributing user generated content commercially?

They’re still working on sending things out…. There’s more than 43k people in the server and who knows how many else interested. They can’t get to everyone …. A couple more days and it’s open to everyone

I know it sucks to see everyone else having fun on the game but they have a system in which they follow to get the game out there and have specific eyes on it for initial tests, and devs often strategize the next steps to get advertising out there for the games to build hype up and then drop the gates for everyone to flood in…. They also have to be very careful because (as we’ve seen) issues arise and the game becomes unplayable due to the massive hype behind it and servers becoming overloaded. Just a few more days and it’ll be open for everyone

I have to say for a game in Beta I am really really impressed with how many hair styles, skin tones and clothing options they have available! In addition I really enjoy the animation style for the walk/run and the basic tool use animations. There is a lot of care and detail in these animations even at this early level!!

Open beta is still beta. They just had to do a closed beta first to make sure the servers could handle it. So we should expect it will still be in a beta state on August 10th, but that it thankfully won't stay there. But it's true the game is not fully complete and in other cases I've held off on games until they were complete for this reason. Just glad we didn't have to pay for an incomplete game like so many on Steam!
