Hey everyone,
Ive found a bug i cannot fix..
There's no any message/log/notification about that and I don't know how it does happen. I'm talking about immortality.
All works fine, fall damage exists, hunger damage and drawning... Suddenly immortality turns on and every single player that's been playing on the server is affected by that, but not simultaneously, it happens independently

Does or did anyone face something like that?

All is fine, i can gain XP, use items, craft, kill mobs, interact with everything but I'm just immortal, hunger goes down/up but doesn't affect HP, i cannot drown but oxygen works as it should... It's just weird and makes the entire game hella easy... Everything is back to normal after server's restart

Client logs say nothing, server ones too, no notification, nothing in settings, it cannot be set on/off... It just happens and the only solution ive found so far is server restart

I utilize AMP by cubecoders to run my game server instances such as minecraft. I creatgd my instance. I have now done this the same way with different fabric loader versions. (from scratch each time). We will continue discussion on the 0.15.0 version

1. I utilize the Mondrith app for my launching experience. I installed the v24 BMC2 version.
2. I launched this locally on my PC first to get the links to the additional mods that couldn't be saved there due to licensing issues.
3. once I had all mods, i copied them to the Mods folder on my instance in AMP
4. I attempted to start the server

If you need my specific AMP settings, it is basically default with a change of java to 17, inceasing the Memory allowed, and world name.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

Bygone Nether changes the Wither spawn blocks from soul sand to soul stone. Bygone Nether on it's own just has soul stone spawn in Soul Sand Valleys. Couldn't find any, made a creative world + downloaded an xray mod. Eventually found soul stone doesn't spawn naturally in the Nether. After a LOT of searching, I found that soul stone can sometimes spawn in chests in the Catacombs structure that Bygone Nether adds, making it the only way to get soul stone and therefore summon a Wither in survival mode. Just wanted to check in with the devs and see if this was at all intentional? Difficulty curve or some kind of weird generation conflict? Love the pack, cheers guys :)

hey.. I do have a i7-12900k or something like that. Is it normal that my CPU temperature is on 80-95 degrees while playing better minecraft or is it too high? I tried to get down all settings...and even a renderdistance of 2 chunks but this seemed to change nothing at all on my CPU temperature. The weird thing is that this only happens in modded minecraft and my fps are stable on 30-60 fps when limited. I also disabled vsync etc.

I tried with ATLuncher, and still on Aternos but trying to seek for a friend's server, but still have the lag issues with the table craft.

I found out that it's the Display and Entry RegistryImp, and the search runtime that takes 5 sec or so. ( in the performance ananlysis in the REI config)

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

you could use the chunky mod to try to pre-generate the chunks, it solved some of the problem for me

yeah i have the same problem, try deleting the better chunk loading & chunk sending mods, it's still a bit slow but loads way faster for me

if you're having terrain generation issues you should delete autoslabs too, for me it causes random blocks to replace terrain during chunk generation

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.
