Hi. We have a server with the new v12. It works wonderfully, but unfortunately you get kicked out after an indefinite period of time. This affects all players on the server. You can then no longer enter the server, but it does not crash. Is there a solution?

On a server is there a convenient way to disable either Seasons or Immersive Weathering? The two don't interact perfectly with frosted blocks and icicles sticking around after winter

Is anyone else having issues launching Better MC 1.19.2 v12 from MultiMC on Windows 10? The game doesn't crash but the loading bar on the game window never completes and I get a Not Responding in the title bar. The log in MultiMC ends with these lines: [14:26:16] [Render thread/ERROR]: Non [a-z0-9/._-] character in path of location: betterend:textures/item/thermal fungus.png. I was able to get the instance to launch by disabling the Better End mod.

anybody got any tips of optimizing the server version? im using 6 gb of ram, but my cpu only has a quad core 1.9 ghz. im overclocking a raspberry pi as my dedicated server. works fine for normal minecraft, but it's a little stuttery and drops to 30fps every once in awhile randomly. im assuming it has to do with terrain generation

Depends on the type of farm; If it need a player close (to spawn mobs or get random ticked) you won't get anything extra with chunk loading them; If its a farm that doesn't need a player (like an iron farm) you could chunk load it

If you claimed a chunk i think you can directly use the map to right click it and enable forceloading, but is not as reliable as the good old nether portal chunkloaders imo (there is a bunch of tutorial on youtube)

For a regular spawner farm, yes, you need a player nearby

A regular spawner needs a player closer than 16 blocks away iirc

You can make special spawners with the spirit mod tho, they work with longer distances and i think there is even one that doesn't need a player, but not sure, I haven't used much of the spirit mechanics

To craft a soul cage (that is what the custom spirit spawners are called) you could follow rei's indications, and to activate it you need a soul crystal (rei also show how to craft it) and charge it by killing the specific mob you want in the cage

Damn, I hate when laptops' performance are capped by manufacturer's software, because when that software breaks it completely screws you; I finally was able to get HP Omen software running properly and I jumped from around 50 fps stable to around 110

Yeah, I followed everything, but the broken Omen thingy was capping the processor tdp to 35W instead of letting it go to up to 90W which is its limit

We are at 10 chunks and its fine, tried to bump to 20 last night and they couldnt join because of timeouts. Regarding what the console says, im not quite sure, I cant check right not since they arent online either, but its just timeout as far as I recall. Maybe the Pipeline error 4 or 5 something

Looks like you have problems with read/write access to your cache file. It is located in "your_world/data/betterend.nbt"
Minecraft vanilla portal and pillars have fixed height, so actual height of BE structures is stored in cache. Sometimes there can be problems with access to it, so values can be missing or be unreadable. Fixing cache file will fix wrong structure locations

Iron farms should work normally, did you filled any nearby caves? Are the villagers sleeping?

Also, is built too low, golems are spawning outside. EDIT: May be ok, i removed the temp blocks and think its ok EDIT 2: Nope, they keep spawning outside

Also also, you gonna need to place that lava one block lower, because baby iron golems can spawn

You can spawnproof with slabs/buttons

Make sure to spawnproof the blocks of the redstone clock too

if you trim the blocks on the floor, they stop spawning outside

You can solve this by breaking all beds nearby; but if you block the path to the beds (by breaking the temp blocks) they should eventually link to the new beds
