if your fine with only being able to choose the latest versions, aternos works great for only a few people, and is completely free. I used it but had to drop it do to not having a choice in the version. You can always run your own server on your computer but it takes a good bit of setup and might not work for you and your friends, as your computer would have to be on. as sandfox said, you could always just join one someone else made aswell. otherwise you would have to buy a server from a provider

Make sure you’re fully installing the replay mod, there’s more steps to it than just putting the mod in the mods folder. That was my issue when I first installed it with fabric

A few were pre-existing mods. I've since added some from the pack after looking up each one and installing their required api's and such (like cloth, etc). The mod list is quite long. The server starts and runs fine, but when anyone joins the world, it crashes immediately and gives a stackoverflow error

the error might help you figure it out. i would make sure you're adding/updating any of its dependencies (if it has any). of course, that could cause other mods that also use the dependency to need updating. sometimes it takes a while to figure out the puzzle, and sometimes it just doesn't work. one core thing is the version of forge/fabric the mod build is made for. sometimes the newer versions of the mod need a newer version of forge/fabric in order to function.

Hey, I'm pretty new at this modpack. Are there any, let's say, "interesting" mechanics, not available in vanilla, available at this modpack? Found out only about Copper Pans so far (basically covered only Charm, Oxidized mods). I moved from Forge mods and I'm pretty used to double/triple my ores (and I'ver found out only x1.5 with end furnaces and x2 on iron from Goblin Traders).

Fabric 1.19, Copper Pans early game automation: any idea how to deal with those drops? I tried to make it flat 7x3, but these copper pans get waterlogged easily and for some stupid reason gravel is not considered "in" the water because of that.

How does the enchantment soulbound work with the graves mod when you die. Also what mod is soulbound from because in the JEI it says Minecraft.

That's how it's defined in config, and I didn't modify it, and I doubt it has auto-update, so I guess I'm on this exact version.

Well I might as well send this, if it’s any help

went to the curseforge page and downloaded the server pack

uploaded the server, as a zip, to the sftp root directory

extracted it on the panel and moved everything extracted to the root directory

googled fabric server jar, select 1.19, downloaded it and uploaded it as server.jar

started server and got the error

Did the same thing for 1.18.2, same error

i think Lambdynamiclights should be considered for removal until the performance issues on 1.17-1.19 are fixed. as soon as you take out a torch, performance drops from 140+ fps with shaders on to less than 40.

Not sure how much is recommended but I’d probably guess somewhere in the 8g range for a small server with friends. Might be overkill.
