There might be a dragon in the "other" biome mod (not BYG) that adds potions and some animals, but I sincerely doubt you can tame it, since you can't even tame the Goodall creatures.

Closest is the Legendary Bangulum Pickaxe. It has "Blast Mining." You need a bangulum chunk which is a rare drop from the bangulum ore blocks (most of the time you just get bangulum ore)

Having trouble trying to summon the Wither. My buddy and I have tried the T-formation out of Soul Sand and Soul Soil, placing the third head as the last component for the summon but nothing happens. Has this happened to anybody else? I'm in 1.18.2

Make sure you have allocated the correct RAM amount. Overall, you can allocate 8gb if you have at least 12gb of ram total. The #faq has guides on how to allocate ram. You can remove the mods dynamicSurroundings / ImmseriveFX and SimpleRPC. In addition, you can try a more lightweight launcher like GDLauncher or MultiMC, guides are in the #faq on how to use them.

To increase the ram on your server open your start.bat (start.sh on mac or linux) scroll to the top and change the ARGS= section to
ARGS="-Xms<Min GB to allocate>G -Xmx<Max GB to allocate>"
Do not include the <> or the text inside them, replace it with a number!

So I was looking around online and on here and I've yet to find an answer to this question. Is there a way to fix REI in the 1.19 Better Minecraft modpack? It doesn't allow me to search normally, it only allows me to search by mod names and such. I searched on REI's page and it seems there's only one other person who had the problem and it was a mod conflict with Skylib. But SkyLib isn't a part of this pack.

All of the search modifiers need to be set to "While Using Prefix".

#

Two of them are set to always be active by default, which bricks the entire thing. Setting them to only be active on prefix fixes the search.

no if you use a vpn, it makes your ISP think you're in a different country

If the only problem is that your IP is changing and you have to give out a new one, there's a service that lets you just have a URL for your IP and when it changes, it sends that change to the service but keeps the URL the same. No need for VPN. Let me try and remember what it was

1.19, idk what version I'm in the car rn, the crash happens whenever I get close to unloaded chunks, no, once it detects I'm near the unloaded chunk it immediately crashes, the exit code just says code:1, uh idk if I had to when I first launched the modpack everything was alright and it didn't ask me to allocate any RAM

I'm playing the modpack on the v5 version rather than the 1.19.2 updated one since I duplicated the profile checked some of the 1.19.2 mods and I didn't like it much so I just stayed with the 1.19 version

I did mess around with the texture pack but it was just some armor changes and item changes for my preference

There's several crucial mods for increased performance which are used in Luna Pixel Studio's modpacks, most of which are Forge versions of Fabric mods. They should only be downloaded from Modrinth, Curseforge, or Github:
1. Rubidium - Sodium port for Forge. Magnesium is an alternative to this, but it's no longer maintained and doesn't support Oculus.

Hey guys this seems to be the best place to ask this so here i go. Im using bisect (Been using it for a long time) to host a server for me and a couple of friends. We just came back to modded since 1.18 (Back then didnt have this issue) i tried to update the server for us to play on 1.19 (The server launches fine) but whenever we try to join it had mismatched mods. I also have tried forge and older versions of both. has anyone ran into this issue if so did you find a work around?

Make sure you have allocated the correct RAM amount. Overall, you can allocate 8gb if you have at least 12gb of ram total. The #faq has guides on how to allocate ram. You can remove the mods dynamicSurroundings / ImmseriveFX and SimpleRPC. In addition, you can try a more lightweight launcher like GDLauncher or MultiMC, guides are in the #faq on how to use them.

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric.

Guys does better Minecraft fabric has boss content like the abyss ?
I saw a review video showcasing better Minecraft forge with lots of new animals from ocean to land to the birds, it also has a lot of end game stuff and bosses from the abyss mod.
But many of the comments mentioned about fps issue, and I heard the fabric version does not have it.

I know that fabric and forge have some similar and different mods, I can see that it still has the diversity of animals and biomes in the fabric version, but I do not see the abyss mod, so I was wondering are there actually end game content in fabric such as cool bosses and new armor and gear?

taking freezing damage crashes the game and permanently locks you out of the server circa 4.5

took damage, got forced out, character freezes to death, player tries to log back in, the game places them at their grave from when they got booted and it crashes their client. Saw it happen, didn't know what was amiss, then it just happened to me.

If your world has cheats you can always force it to work and discard what you would've used, it's sorta immersion breaking but it's what I usually do when playing modpacks

Java 8 for the game, Java 17 for the server
5 & 6. So I've diagnosed the problem. Whenever I generated a new world, it would run perfectly fine, anyone can join, no crash, no nothing. As soon as I (the host) restart my PC, and I run the server back up again, anyone that join (including me) will crash the server.

port forward done, no problem when connecting to the server (me or my friends) as the world was a first time generated. but as soon as I restart my system, and try to run the server back up again, the server would run as normal, right until a user/player joins the server, then the whole server crashed..

aaand it was a long boot but it did start
@dreamy acorn get your world folder in the bettermc directory where your install sits
/Users/Username/Documents/curseforge/minecraft/Instances/Better MC [FABRIC] 1.19.2 & 1.18.2
since I'm on macos - either way grab the "saves" folder, copy it onto your desktop and keep it in your clipboard too because you never know what may happen; delete it from the bettermc folder and start it, once you're in the start menu... many minutes later that is, slap it back in and hope for the best
hope you can understand what I mean since I know I have not done a good job at writing this

ye i tried making one but in the end i couldnt do it yet cuz one of the things it asked was to try the mod alone and see if the same issue happened and if it didnt that it was a mod in the modpack that was incompatible and i tried launching the modpack with oh the biomes youll go and its needed mods but it never opens, it just launches and nothing happens

First ill explain the problem a little bit more. I had my world and it was going great. I logged off and when i logged back in it said i had modified the mods (Didnt touch anything) and so i had to create a backup and then i got into the world. A lot of the mods were now missing leading to a lot of holes and other issues in the world, plus it got rid of some mods I rlly liked, for example, the one that adds marble although I have no clue what mod did that. Im guessing the modpack updated or something so i tried to play with the previous version but whenever i start minecraft from the launcher the game just doesnt even start and I get a crash report. When I play with the newest version of the modpack I can sometimes actually get in and play but what I really want is to use the mods I was playing with before.

I went through a waystone and it crashed and sent that message. I cannot rejoin the server now

I thought the waystone was to another location but a friend informed me that it was a global one set further out I hadn’t been to yet. I was thinking maybe that’s what it was or maybe a server issue entirely. I hope this is the right channel to ask now (:

Had an issue last night. Me and some others went to the end. Spawned us on the obsidian platform far from the island. The dragon threw a ball of breath at us and we died. When we went back we kept dying as the chunk was not loaded and the breath would not dissipate with out us there. All these times we died, every single one of our preservation totems was lost.

Is there a bug that the totems disappear if you change dimensions or something?

Can they fall into the void and be lost? I am rather confused.

Hey there! Wanted to ask a question, see if anyone know a fix for it:
Dehydration and Farmer's Delight seems to be having a slight issue, in the form of a bug.
From Farmer's Delight, the only drink actually giving any hydration, is apple juice.
Anyone else experience this? Or got an idea for a solution?
