An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

So im playing better minecraft forge 1.16.5 version and i seem to be having a lot of troubles with the mob farms i build. For example, i built an enderman farm in the end, designed by shulkercraft (ive built this farm multiple times before in vanilla and have had no issues) and it had a spawning problem. The farm would work, but only when i went to the top of the farm. The farm uses an endermite to trigger the enderman, but they should be constantly falling at the killing platform. I believe there is an issue with entity distance? Im not sure if there is a mod in better MC that prevents proper mob spawning distance. Please help. This issue is also happening with my creeper farm, hoglin farm, etc. All these farms are designed for 1.16 +

The map can show you where the Elder Guardian is, and there's some TNT hidden between the first floor and the basement.

so bring some milk, get the tnt, and you can clear a ocean monument in like, 5 minutes max.

I'm not completely sure what the TNT was meant for. I saw the target blocks but I tried activating them and it didn't do anything, probably due to the lack of actual redstone in the structure.

The free self-hosting method we use is not Aternos and nothing like Aternos. Read the command and watch the video for how to set everything up. There's Mulch

You don't have to have a source block of water, just water the ground

and it supposedly grows faster than tilled dirt

It doesn't have the random boosting property of farmer's delight soil; I think it's just a straight bonus

it also won't ever grow weeds

Having troubles with the "wireless terminal" and the "advanced wireless terminal." Have storage connected up to a crafting terminal and no matter where I am, the wireless terminals do not open up the storage. Tried shift+right clicking and the "Open Terminal" bind, neither work.

You’re gonna be told they are all fun just different which is true. I would look at what mods each includes and go from there. For example BM3 has Alex’s Mobs but that mod isn’t on Fabric. I love mods that add mobs so I chose that one. Check each pack out and go from there

One of the Main reasons I took bmc3 of my server.
I pre-generated a huge area in each Dimension (10k blocks in every direction) and as soon as a player hit a new chunk, the whole server went down to below 5tps or it crashed instantly.
Don't know what's the reason for this, but it makes it unplayable without frequent pre-generating

Also, I have a question. Not sure if this is a bug or an intended feature. So, for Ash Pile. Immersive Weathering's page says when something is burned, the charred remains can be dropped onto like a half-slab and turned into it's variant of Ash Pile, which is used for Mulch. However, when I do that, it turns into Supplementaries Ash.

So, was the ash mechanic changed to use Supplimentaries ash?

hey im currently running a server with some friends on bisect but we're having some really weird issues like xp farms working when only one player is online but as soon as more people join the range at which a player needs to be for the spawners to work drastically shortens, even for a max tier soul cage which souldnt need a player nearby at all, the ender dragon not moving unless a player is close enough and items getting dropped but then immediately picked back up when close enough to a player (which we can tell wasnt lag because i have the network collector remote and the items i dropped went right into my storage when normally i shouldnt have been able to pick the dropped item up)

ive been talking with bisect support but after some tests and such they told me basically to report it here

and fight the wither 13 times

you also need like, 122 bottles of dragons breath
